In the upper 40's here today, took my usual walk.

Made chicken fajitas and rice, did some laundry, now i'm just relaxing..yayy

I'm not doing much fun, unless you count garbage sailing in the rain as a thrill. Or organizing coupons, doing dishes, and working on grocery lists.

Hmm... what kind would that be? I'm partial to Havarti, myself. Oooh, on a homemade Italian beef sandwich on a crusty roll. I can't be hungry! I just ate dinner.

Havarti is excellent. I love a little kick to my cheese.

Recently I have been eating a very nice garlic jack cheese. Tasty.

I am a Wisconsin cliche. My grandpa ran a cheese factory! So I love all cheeses! (Cliche!)

My faves are extra sharp cheddar, blue, smoked gouda, greuyere, fontanella and muenster.

Anyone ever hit the cheese shop at that Amish community somehwhere over by Portage. Best cheeses ever!

If I'm attending this party where we all bring out favorite cheese, I'll be bringing the Muenster, fresh cheese curds made that day (Squeeky) and some colby.

Since I've been getting more into wines, I've been sampling/trying some specialty cheeses and there are a lot of specialty cheeses made in WI that I enjoy. They just aren't the type of cheeses that you are going to put on a grilled cheese sandwich because of how much they cost ($/LB). There is an excellent specialty cheese shop in Door County just south of Egg Harber. They have a wine store/coffee shop in one building and a specialty cheese store in the other building. If you ever get to Door County, it is a must to stop and check out. They usually have 3-5 samples of specialty cheeses to try (and get you sucked into buying).

If we're having this cheese party, I will also volunteer to bring the sausage!

Now only if we can get people to volunteer to bring the crackers.

Renards Cheese just south of Southern Door HS. Great cheeses. I always buy an onion cheese they have and usually three or four other kinds as well whenever we are heading up to Door County.

A wine and cheese party might be fun. Hmmm. A good idea.
