World of Sardon

"Kallisto..." Lucifine whispered as she gently took the younger woman's face in her hands.

The Korinthian woman couldn't comprehend the changeling's wolfish nature. She wanted to be angry that the girl had aided their enemy, that she'd lied about killing him, but she couldn't. Perhaps because it took more courage to save one's enemy than to kill them.

"You... gave yourself to him to save his life? Is that why he killed the mage?"

"I'm sure that that's why..." She said trying to disappear into thin air. She wasn't sure why she did the things she did only that she couldn't watch someone die like that. "I knew that he would take me to Sardonica but... I couldn't watch him die... I had to do something Lucifine..." She whispered.

"I'm sorry..." She knew that the ice would should feel betrayed but imagine how hard it would be for her... her whole race was killed by Sardonic too and she saved her best hitman by having sex with him.

"Kallisto has yet to prove herself as my priestess." Ferren said as he picked Dorin up. "She hasn't tried to use Talos yet... Once she has, then I can sanctify our bond. I didn't know about this--I only found her in Esari after it had been destroyed and probably well after she'd been... taken."

The young god looked at the unconcious man in his arms.

"He meant what he said, Maddox--I have no doubt... They looked at each other the way you and Lucifine do, the way I..."

Words caught in his throat for a moment, before he force them out.

"...I love her. No matter what Kallisto's done, I love her, whether she's my priestess or not."

Maddox rubbed his temples. "Somehow I see this as getting really weird... or very very complicated... My headache says a combination of the two," he chuckled looking at the other. "Well... At least you got me before I killed him," he said wiping his hands free of the blood..."

"I was sure the bastard had raped her to keep warm..." He explained.

Lucifine hugged Kallisto tight. She had sworn to be this girl's sister, and a Korinthian's kinship was stronger than anything.

"It's alright, Kallisto," she soothed. "It's alright...."

The Korinthian woman was caught between her loyalty for the girl and her need to avenge Marius's death. She didn't know what to say or do...

"Life is such." Ferren smiled gently, as he started to carry Dorin back to the camp.

He had no doubt that Maddox would have killed this man for what he had thought the assassin had done to Kallisto. But this man's fate was ultimately not in their hands, but in Kallisto's

"Though this could be a blessing in disguise."

Ferren saw Kallisto as he approached the camp. He saw her crying in Lucifine's arms and he wanted to hold her as well. Instead, he knelt with Dorin in his arms and held him between them.

Kallisto just tried to fight back her tears... obviously Lucifine was not mad at her.

"There is a side of me that feels connected to him..." She whispered. "My wolf side loves him because he was the first..." She said. "Wolves mate for life..." She said meeting Ferren's gaze... "And while my human half is attracted... I think that there is someone else that I love," she stared at the God letting him know that it was in fact he that she was thinking about.

"Can you forgive me?" She asked.

Lucifine let Kallisto go out of her arms. She stood as she watched Ferren, Kallisto, and Dorin. Maddox had joined them then, and she gave him a sad, yet uneasy look.

Ferren leaned over to kiss Kallisto softly on her forehead.

"I love you." he said. "I forgive you..."

Ferren looked down at Dorin and then at Kallisto.

"Can you heal him?"

"I can..." She said as she let her hands fall to his face and then move to the other parts that had been injured by the fight and by Maddox's temper. The elf didn't like this at all. He knew that Lucifine didn't either but what could they do? This was on the other two and they seemed to be decided on getting Dorin to join them.

Ferren nodded, and Dorin's wounds started to heal. The assassin's eyes suddenly opened and he started to struggle against the young god. Ferren held him in his strong arms.

"Calm!" he said. "Calm down--we're not going to hurt you. Kallisto's here. She healed you..."

Dorin calmed but his eye still glared at the godling. He looked up at Kallisto above him, and smiled slightly. If his arms weren't bound by Ferren's he'd try to reach up and touch her face.

"I came for you." Dorin said. "I killed for you--I wouldn't let Kaelis or Sardonica have you... You're mine, remember?"

Lucifine felt Maddox's arms come around her, and felt a gentle kiss on the back of her head. She half turned her head into his chest, unable to understand what was happening in front of her.

Her arms tightened around Maddox's

"I hope he can prove useful...." she whispered harshly, as a quiet tear rolled down her cheek.

Ferren turned Dorin's face towards him.

"She is to be my high priestess." the young god said as he stroked Dorin's hair from his face. "You must accept that. I know in your own way, you care for Kallisto--I can feel it. Though I love her, I could share her with you if that's what she wanted, but only under one condition: You must become my priest, and you must be willing to accept me as she does. You'll be able to be with Kallisto and you'll serve me as penance for your transgressions..."

Ferren looked to Kallisto.

"Does this agree with you?"

Though it hurt her, Lucifine wanted to give Dorin the benifit of a doubt for Kallisto's sake. She knew the arrow that Marius had taken for her, came from this assassin. She ached to bury Tempest's icy blade in him, and part of her hoped that this man couldn't be reformed. But her voice was silent and her hand stayed for the sake of the young woman she called sister.

"I will." Lucifine whispered against the elf's chest. "Gladly."

She smiled at Ferren, her eyes showed how much she loved him. "Only if it's alright with the both of you," she said. She looked to Dorin. "It's up to you..." she said trying not to look like she would be frustrated.

"I love you Dorin... But if you're not willing to share... then I'll stay here..." She said looking a little sad. She looked to Lucifine... "I'm hurting my sister for you..." She said.

"Make your choice..."

For the first time, Dorin saw what love truly looked like in Kallisto's eyes. The love he'd had for Sardonica was not that. It was cold, dark servitude rewarded with the occasional pleasures of the flesh, and the promise of being on the winning side of the war.

He had killed for Kallisto, and betrayed his goddess. There was no going back to Korinth. Not now, not ever, and he knew that Sardonica would send someone for him--he was too dangerous to let live, especially in the hands of her enemies.

Dorin looked over to the Korinthian woman who was held by the stoic elf and back at Kallisto.

"I swore I would have you, Kallisto and I can't go back."

He looked up at Ferren then.

"If I have to be your priest to be near her, then I'll serve your penance, godling..."

"Very well." Ferren said. "We will share Kallisto then and you will serve your penance as my priest."

Ferren's arms relaxed around Dorin's now, and he gently held the other man while he kissed Kallisto. Ferren looked down at Dorin, brushed aside raven hair and kissed him on the forehead.

"It is done, then." he said as he let Dorin up.

Kallisto smiled as he agreed to syay. She knew that it would be hard for him and everyone else really... "Now... It's time for bed..."

She was ushering them all off to their beds... "Ferren? Where is Dorin sleeping?" She asked trying to figure that out.

((OOC: no sleep hardly....))

The young god smiled slightly.

"There's really no place to put him." he said. "He sleeps with us."

Kallisto smiled and hugged Dorin, this was going to be a very interesting evening to be sure. She took Ferren's hand and Dorin's and led them both back to the tent from whence she came. She moved some of the blankets and pillows around before settling down and finally pulling the two men close to her.

She was a pimp that was for sure.

OOC: lol I'm a dork...

<OOC> Haahaha! :D

<IC>
Dorin scowled at the idea of sharing Kallisto even in the slightest bit, but he had submitted to the godling's will for the changeling's sake. He felt heavy furs come around him against the cold and felt Kallisto press into him as she rested her head on his chest.

On the otherside, Ferren drew himself up to Kallisto's back, and an arm came around her. The three of them were nestled together in the tent, and Dorin stared up at the ceiling, tired as he tried to think through his current situation and what to do if Sardonica, indeed, came knocking on their door.

*****

Lucifine watched the three disappear into the tent. She supposed it was on Ferren and Kallisto now. They were responsible for Dorin, and it had led them into a strange lover's triangle.

She shook her head, tired. The Korinthian wanted to go back to sleep, but she couldn't. Adreniline, suspiscion and heartache made for terrible bedfellows...

Lucifine shook her head and gently broke away from Maddox's arms. She looked at Kaelis, the dead mage.

"We need to get rid of that..."

Dorin felt Kallisto's kiss in his nose and his brow furrowed at how... cute it was, but when she gave him a nice, deeper kiss, he wanted to devour her, but much to his annoyance, the godling clung to her, fast asleep.

"What work?" he said.

Lucifine nodded as she watched Maddox for a moment, before he disappeared to take care of the mage's body. She couldn't help but wonder what kind of trouble this would bring them or wether it was wise to continue on to Deshtal with the assassin in tow.

The Korinthian went to she and Maddox's tent, and laid down. She still couldn't find her way to sleep and she waited for the elf to return.
