Yes. My 4X4. Had a broken valve push rod. Had to take half the fucking engine apart to repair it

And (wouldn't you know) they couldn't find a part to put it back together... so there was a bloody search all over hell and gone to find it. Four damn months over a $3.00 part

I had something to drive. That wasn't the problem. The problem was the whole summer almost is gone and I missed the best time to crash the forests in my SUV.

Nothing in the world like loading up two coolers (1 large, 1 huge), my river raft, tent, sleeping bags, clothes - all in dry bags and going out in the central desert to the Deschutes River and doing a long weekend with the rattlesnakes and scorpions

I had gator at the Hilton in Fort Lauderdale. So what do I know(?)

Hells Canyon is on the Snake River between Oregon and Idaho. It's a fairly dangerous float. There is no way of getting out of the canyon except by helo and there are some nasty rapids. Not a float for a novice.

Same goes for the Owahee in Idaho. (Only river I ever broke three oars on). That river is just nasty. Fun though.
