I like when good books have good adaptations. There's things you can do in film that just don't translate well to the written word...and vice versa. That being said, a few surprises here and there don't hurt, but don't make a movie loosely based on a book and change every third damn thing.

Depends on the show. I'd rather go to a midnight showing (12:01 am the release day) so I don't have to put up with fucking teenagers.
