I think I'd write the check...they'd have a hard time cashing it (any accounts that are obviously "Al Qaeda" have been frozen in most countries, I'm pretty sure there are no accounts in that name), and technically you didn't say I had to give it to anyone, just write it. So, I'll write the check, put it in my top drawer and then do nothing with it.
