Woven Rings Of Destiny ( Continuation of The Family)

Aria

"Alright. I understand..." I thought for a moment.
"We'll stop and see Micheal but promise we won't if there is any question we're being followed? I dont want my son harmed in vengence towards me." I fell silent again, and headed back to our room. Talia had taken her own and Ray and Maggie were in theirs. Just left Joseph and I awake and talking.
Thought I didn't think it was talking so much as just being here. Awkward shouldn't be a problem between us. I wished I knew how to make him smile again.
As he walked into the room and shut the door, I turned to him. My hands reaching up and cupping his face.
"I love you Joseph.. Never forget that." I held his gaze, letting him see I meant it, then kissed him softly.
"We should get some sleep Love, and go see Micheal tomorrow. We aren't far from him right now.." I smiled and crawled on the bed, waiting for him to join me.

Joseph

He changed, and crawled in bed with her, smiling broadly. He kissed her cheek and shaking his head and he settled down, facing her, his forehead against hers as he smiled, looking deep in her eyes, happy and content.

"No, we don't need to do that. Not now. It'll be easier to finish things here first."

Aria

"If that's what you want Love." quietly I whispered, moving up under his chin and placing my hand on his chest. My leg wormed inbetween his and I felt safe and content. Sighing in pleasure, I closed my eyes and drifted in and out of sleep listening to his breathing.

Erika

I got back on the main road, and instead of fleeing, this time I headed back the way I came. That house was odd, and what brought me there was even stranger.
His words kept ringing in my ears, giving me shivers. What had he meant? I was afraid I knew what he meant, but did not want to put it into words.
My cell phone beeped and I knew I had voice mail. Vladamir was looking for me.
I picked up the phone and hit the button. Listening to the voice mail left by Vlad.
"Good bye?" since when did Vlad tell me good bye? I hit the phone book and found his number, hitting auto dial and waited for an answer. I waited and waited and did not get a responce.
Hanging up, I hated voice mail anyways.
I continued to drive, I knew where he was I would find him again and find out what that had meant.
I glanced down at the sword, and for some strange reason I pulled over.
Picking it up, I carefully started to clean off the blade. Why here and now, I did not fully understand, but I did it anyways.
A thought crept up in my mind, I had to get to Vlad. Something was wrong.

Vladamir Trepes

The limo was pulled over on the shoulder of the road. A cluster of ashes and a bloodied driver's uniform lay crumpled on the seat, a large hole in the door of the driver's side from where the sword had gone through Chad's head. The cell phone had rang a while ago, but Vlad had been staring out the window. He thought about leaving it, but his eyes were drawn to it.

Could he shut Erika out? No, he couldn't. He picked up the phone. BUt he could say goodbye to her, hear her voice. Maybe this was what she wanted. He found it hard to ever truely know. He held down one of the buttons, and it dialed her number. He raised the phone up, deciding to leave it if she didn't pick up.

Erika

I picked up the phone as I rang and answered,
"Hello?"
It was Vladamir, I knew it was, but there was a long silence on the other end.
"Vlad?"

Vladamir

He smiled softly on his end, happy top hear her voice. He realized after a moment he'd been silent, and started in. "Hello, my love. I'm in Spain. Just thought I'd call you, you know, check in on you. Did you get my message?"

Erika

Smiling at the smooth sound of his voice, I nodded then answered. "Yes I did, I will join you just tell me where you are?" I felt a strange eerie sensation over me like he was not being honest or something.
"Is everything alright? I got this weird feeling you aren't tell me everything Vlad?"

Vladamir

He stopped, and looked across the limo. "That's because I'm not telling you everything, love. I love you, Erika. Do me a favor, and always remember that, okay? I'm sorry, but I can't tell you where I am. I don't want you in this. I'll keep my phone for a while, but don't be surprised if I don't answer it. This, this may take a while. Goodbye, Erika, my sweet."

He ended the call, and stood up, returning his phone to his pocket and his sword to his sheath. He kicked the door of it's hinges, and stepped out, admiring the country before himself.

"And now, Vlad, it is time to go forth. Come, the time draws near."

Erika

I was stunned, he just shut me out as if I never had a say so in anything!
"Good bye?!" Damned men, always doing things like this. I felt a sudden premonition come over me that something bad was going to happen.
Sighing heavily, I got back on the road and drove. If I found Aria and Joseph, I would find Vlad. That was what I had to do, find them and wait for him to arrive.
This in mind, I drove until I couldn't stand the heat from the sun any longer. Finding the only thing near by was an aged grave yard, I got out of the car, locked it up tightly and found a crypt to sleep in until the sun set once more.

Ray

I smile as I watch Maggie walk up to are rooms I send “I’ll be at the bar I saw down the street ok my love.” I tern and walk out the door and down the street my eyes unfocest as I try to remember the dream some how I know it’s important to this journey I just don’t know how yet. I walk past some ruff looking men with out even looking up. I brush agenst on accidentally. He turns grabbing me by my coat saying “watch where you’re going.” I turn to him looking him in the eyes mine not flinching in the least.

He backs off but as his buddies gather arund him egging him on he gathers his foolish cerg up and takes a swing at me witch I dogg easily. I watch them with a board exprion on my face as he swings agene and agene I easily doge this time though I bring up my hand catching his fist in it and I squeeze. The man yells out with pain as I drop him to his knees blood oozing out form between my fingers.

I let go of his pulped hand and he yanks it to his chest cradling it whimpering like a baby as his bodes slowly back away. I shrug and walk in to the bar ignoring the people that are there as I walk up to the barkeep and ask for a large mug of beer. My eyes unfoces agene as I search for the dream that keeps eluding me.

Maggie

Within a few minutes I was in the room. I sighed heavily and plopped down on the bed, my suitcase dropping to the floor. The hunger was tearing at me, my gaze shifted from staring blankly at the door to my hands, they were folded neatly in my lap, more pale than normal and trembling.
I growled low in my throat, surged to my feet and ran an unsteady hand through my hair. “Idiot Maggie, why did you wait so long to feed you know better?” I cursed at myself quietly.
Leaving our room now clad in a black baby-tee, black jeans, boots and a long black trench. I slipped the room key and some cash into the pocket, check for my favorite dagger and was outside in a flash. A quick survey of the area told me that my hunt would be most prosperous to the north. In the back of my mind I knew that I should go to the bar and find Ray, but the thought didn’t surface above the anger and hunger I felt.
The night was beautiful, the air crisp, clean and cool. Stars shimmered brilliantly above the dimly lit streets. Few people were out and about this hour, and I didn’t know if that pleased me or not. Surely I would still find a good meal anyway. Quietly I stalked the streets, watching, listening and waiting for the right prey to cross my path.
It was an eerily quiet night on the streets, I felt. Suddenly every fine hair on my body stood on end, the dim street lamp above me went out. A deep breath and I paused, turning around at the sound of a trash can clamoring to the ground. The sound of glass bottle clinking to the ground filled my ears and I jumped slightly as the near silence was shattered by the promise of return, an ear piercing death screech from an alley cat. He streaked from the darkened alley I had just passed to another across the street. Shaking my head and chuckling I turned around “It’s just an old alley cat….you big ninny.” I murmured to myself and continued on north, once again.
Before I knew it I had wandered nearly clean across the town. Pausing for a moment I listened to the sounds of the night, grinning slightly at what I heard.
“What do you mean he didn’t pay…Fucking whore?!”
It was a man’s voice I heard, deep and trembling with apparent rage. I inched closer to the sound, it thundered out of the alley ahead of me. I stopped at the corner of the building, hearing the distinct sound of flesh hitting flesh. I cringed with anger and peered around the corner of the building. The alley was dark but I could see her, huddled on the ground against the building, holding her face and sobbing loudly. He was towering above her, raging on about what had happened and how she could let it happen.
I noticed she was far more battered than one slap could have done. She had obviously been set up with a man who let her render her services, then beat her badly and left her without paying. My theory was proven correct by the woman as she explained just such a scenario to the man. He didn’t buy it and let it be known. That was all I needed to hear of the situation. Swiftly and as quiet as a mouse I darted into the alley and stood behind the man.
Frightened as the young woman was she didn’t let her facial features give away my presence. I tapped the man on the shoulder and saw the sparkle of amusement dance in his eyes just before he hit the ground. Hell maybe I couldn’t wield a sword that well yet, but I had one hell of a right hook. Quickly I urged the girl to go and to use the brains god gave her to find a new life and career. She did run and swiftly at that.
I turned and grinned evilly at the man on the ground. He rubbed at his jaw and sat there dazed and shocked. “You sir should learn to pick on someone your own size. Mmm and I think I am just the person to teach you your lesson.” I clipped out the words as I pulled my dagger from my pocket and advanced on him. All he could say was “Bring it on” with one brow raised. So I obliged him.
I straddled my lithe form over his and descended. I could feel my fangs protruding. His pleading and the rapid thunder of his heart filled my ears. I pierced the flesh of his neck and groaned as the first drops of his life-force flowed over my tongue. A tormented groan of utter ecstasy came from the man and I felt him shudder beneath me. I had enjoyed four swallows of the fresh warmth that came from him when everything went black….

I emerged from the blackness a short time later, my head pounding and my jaw aching. My heart thundered in my own chest when I tried to take a breath and found I couldn’t. I tried desperately to close my jaw to relieve the ache, but to no avail. I saw forms in the dark distance, felt cool air rush over my naked form. I had been stripped of my clothing and hung here like a dead carcass. Hands throbbed with numbness and my shoulders seared with pain. I moaned softly and with a blink four men were standing before me, bringing with them an offending light that burned my eyes. My eyes fell closed to block out the light and that is when I felt a hand upon my chin.
“Now now dear, is that anyway to treat a new friend?” The voice was deep and exotic. I tried to pull away, but couldn’t, his grip only tightened on my face.
“I have no intention of killing you my sweet, only to send a message…..” I jerked my eyes opened to look at the man. He handed off the flashlight to one of the others “Recognize this?” he asked me while he held my own dagger before me. I nodded my eyes wide with horror. What the hell was this about? I hadn’t a clue, but what ever it was the out come wouldn’t be good. He had told me I wouldn’t be killed, but I had a hard time believing him. Little did I know at that point how much I wished I would be dead.
The man before me gave a nod, a signal of some sort and seconds later I felt a searing pain across my ass. I tried to cry out with the pain but it only came out a muffled mess. I jerked as the object struck again and again. I couldn’t imagine why but they only struck from the waist below, first the back side and then the front.
Fire is what I felt, there wasn’t a spot on the back of my legs that didn’t burn. God I was roasting in hell I had to be. Warm liquid ran down and into each wound and just when I didn’t think it could get any worse, the dark figure came around the front and began the same massacre of the front.
I was shaking violently by then, the man was having a hard time getting good solid hits. He ordered someone to hold me from behind and so they did. Three sets of hands held me firm, I tried to struggle free of their grasp and couldn't do it, they only held tighter until he was finished.
Tears streamed wildly down my face with each stroke. I imagined it was a riding crop, that’s what it felt like. I closed my eyes and called to Ray, desperately hoping that I had the strength to get through to him. The first voice emerged once again. “As much as I hate to carve up this lovely body..you will be our messenger. We do not like the idea of this quest for the book, it can only bring about pain and death to those of us who love this life…” I screamed in despair through the gag, but it was answered with fit’s of laughter.
The light came back only not directly in my face this time, it lingered further this time, probably so that I could see. I watched the man come at me, dagger in hand and felt the pain as the tip began to carve a path in my flesh. Agonizing minutes later he stepped away to admire his handy work. I myself was on the verge of darkness, ready to escape the pain that now laced my entire body.
“Quite lovely work, even if I do say so myself. Care to see my beauty?” He laughed and it sounded more evil than the devil himself. A shudder racked my entire being, gooseflesh crept over my tormented flesh when I saw the mirror being rolled toward me. Words, as plain as day, stood out in bold red blood on my flesh. I choked back a cry. He read the words to me in a soft firm voice “End this crusade or someone dies”
Everything was going black and I think he knew what was about to happen because he grabbed my chin and jerked it to face him. “I know your weak and about to fall to the blackness, but remember this…Tell all of them that we are watching and will strike again.” As I slipped into the blackness I heard them all scrambling.. “Someone is coming!” one shrieked “It’s the big guy!” another blurted out and soon all the sound was gone…

I don’t even feel the shards of glass cutting in to my hand as I shatter it. My eyes feel with pain as I feel what is happening to Maggie. I move faster then the humans can fallow out the door casing it to splinter as it rebounds off of the out side wall. I move in the direction that I feel Maggie wincing at every blow that I feel land on her and then the pain of what they're doing to her chest cozies me to rore with rage. I don’t even bother calling for the others my mined to focist on Maggie and killing the once who dare to touch her.

I come to the building she is in ten minutes or so later I kick in the door hearing the wood splint beneath my boot. I glide in my eyes adjusting to the darkness easily. I see one darting for a side door but I’m faster. I move fluidly infrunt of him blocking his fist then slamming mine in to his gut doubling him over. I take the back of his head and I slam it down hard in to my knee hearing the satisfying sound of bone splintering as his skull caves in arund my knee. I hear clatter as the dagger he was holding falls to the ground. I look down at it rage feeling my eyes as I see that its Maggie’s dagger and it still has blood on it. I lift it and snarl as I smell her blood.

I look up as I hear some foot steps I see a girl running for the door that I smashed in. I wipe the blade up and down letting it fly I smile as I her the satisfying sound of the blade hitting hilt deep in to her ear the point coming out the other the other ear. I look arund for the rest but they fled out other door and windows.

I walk over to where Maggie’s hanging from some rope my eyes going even colder with rage as tears fall from them. I take out my dagger and quickly cut her down catching her as she falls. I sit with her head in my lap I look down at her saying “why did you not come get me to hunt with you my love.” I slit my wrist placing the cut over her lips letting my blood trickily in to it saying “drink my love drink.”-

Maggie

I was pulled from the darkness. The warmth of blood running over my tongue and the cold cement beneath my tormented flesh. I groaned softly and drank little from his wrist. Cringing I pulled away. Never, since I had been changed had I ever smelt my own blood and now it was all I could smell. I knew that I needed to feed and that it would be better to feed from him, but the smell; this place, my own blood, the smell of the others. It was all too much and easily surpressed the urge to feed.
The pain was excruciating, mybreaths came light and raspy as I tried to fight it down. I curled into a ball and shivered..
"Ray....I can't....the smell....the cold....please get me out of here." I whispered. A violent round of cold shivers raced through me, I reached for his hand and gave it a gentle squeeze "Please love we have to warn the others......" The words trailed off there and I groaned once more.

I awoke with a start, something was wrong! My hands dug into Joseph's skin as I sat up in the bed, groggily looking around for the danger I sensed.

I heard the crying and felt a searing pain all thurought my body.
"Maggie?" I whispered, then slowly rose from the bed. Joseph stirred and watched me, wondering what was up?

"We need to get dressed and go find Maggie!" I quickly stripped off the night gown I was wearing and started throwing on clothes. Jerkingly I tried to get my pants on, my eyes wide with fear and my breathing labored as if I had ran a thousand miles.

I felt joseph's hand come down and take mine, his eyes holding mine a moment.
"I know.. Calm down.." Grabbing my shirt, I yanked it on and was out the door. I stopped and sniffed the air, trying to pick up her scent. Nothing, she had passed by here too long ago. My mind went out, my earing perking up slightly, and in the far distance I heard Ray speaking to Maggie.
Slipping on each tennis shoe at a time, I took off running, quicker and quicker until I was a blur. I knew joseph could follow me, I did not hang back for him. Hell, he'd probably beat me there. Not caring I growled in my throat with the anger I felt. Someone had dared to harm my family. Someone would pay!

Arriving at this old decripid building, I glanced at the smashed in door way. Ray was here, that was his knock. I would recognize it anywhere. Carefully, I listened to the area. All I could hear was ray and maggie, so it was safe.

Walking inside, I seen Ray carrying maggie towards me.
"Ray!? What the hell happened here and to Maggie?" I grabbed Maggies arm and pulled her from his chest, I gasped out as my eyes fell on the various cuts and what looked like words on her chest.
"Oh fuck thats gross! Let's get her to the Motel and get her some food to heal with.."

Ray

I look down at Maggie as she asks me to take her out of hear. I nod lifting her up in my armies ignoring the blood ruining my clothes. I look down in to her eyes saying "don’t be dieing on my know my love." I tern to the door and begin walking towards it when Aria walks threw. I try to hide want they did to Maggie but Aria pulls her from my chest any way.

I look down at her rage burning wildly in my eyes. As I say “was only able to kill two the rest flead out the back”. I walk out of the building holding Maggie close to me not looking to see if Ariaa is fallowing or not.

I begin to run threw the back allies so as not to attract much attention. I go to the back of the hotel slipping in the back door easily. I walk up the back stairs quietly stopping at the top to let some people go in to their rooms. I then move to are rooms opining them and caring Maggie in laying her on to the bed. I then reslit my wrist putting it to her lips saying “drink know my love drink as much as you can don’t wary about me I’ll go hunt after.” I lean down kissing her forehead gently as she suckles at my wrist like a babe at her mother’s tit.

Maggie

I groaned fiercely when I fetl his arms wrap around me and lift me. The blackness was surfacing again. "don’t be dieing on my know my love." was the last thing I heard. A smile turned up the corners of my mouth for but a moment then the darkness claimed me. And I am sure it was a good thing.
Awaking sometime later, feeling the warmth of blood running over my tongue, Ray's gentle voice tugging me from the blackness to drink. I did so taking all I could. I felt his heart slow slightly and stopped there, knowing he had to have the strength to hunt and protect himself.
My eyes fluttered open and I saw him sitting above me. I reached up and caressed his face in one hand "Thank you love...for finding me and saving me." I whispered softly and rolled to my side to curl up, after all the skin there was not raw and burning.

Joseph

His bare feet were silent as he followed Aria. His sense, much more refined, picked up the old scent. He'd bothered only with his breeches, and...He mentally hit himself. His pants. Dang new words, his vocabulary had a sort of shifting to it. He had to try not to start speaking Latin again, which would throw them all off. His sword was in his hand. He skidded to a halt, passing the group by a few feet as his eyes flicked around. His nostrils flared as he breathed deep, the sword slicing a half cricle behind his head.

He cocked his head to a side, raising an eyebrow. While the others left, taking care of Maggie, his sense perked. Not moving, he let himself feel what had been happening, going backwards through the smells, sounds, the very taste that still lingered in the air.

His eyes opened, and he turned. His eyes flicked to a corner, and he left, following the others. More specifically, he followed Aria. He was a warrior, a scholar, but he was not very helpful after the battle, when support needed to be given to others. The price of being a loner who hanged on the edges of the group, he supposed.

Aria

I knew Ray wouldn't want me there to interfere with him and Maggie, though it stung I wasn't wanted, I let them go without a word. using my senses I began to roam the empty room until I picked up an unfamiliar scent, a male scent and began to slowly follow.
Crawling out the broken window to a dark damp alley way, I slowly walked along. My sense of smell wasn't as good as the older vampires, but it was good enough.
Trepidation raced through me, should I follow or should I return to the Hotel? I couldn't risk being caught by these people, but they had harmed a family member and that deserved retribution.
I followed for a few blocks and then stopped in my tracks. This was madness and I knew it was best left alone. A single vampire walking when a weird group of enemies roamed around, yeah I wasn't stupid. Time to return to safety of Joseph.
I turned around and began walking, I didn't make it two blocks before I bumped into who I was heading towards.
"Hello Love." I offered a small smile, though i did not feel remotely happy.

Joseph

He smiled at her, slowly. He took her in his amrs, and gave her a hug. He'd taken the time to stop in their room and get a shirt and his sheath, which was why he was so far behind her. He nuzzed her neck, taking in the scent of her before he pulled back.

"Come, my love, we could use what rest we can get. Let our sleep be dreamless and pure."

Aria

I smirked at his comment, sarcasm in my voice, "Dreamless and pure? What century is this Love? Hell Maggie just had a few chunks taken out of her as a warning.. I don't think I can sleep very well tonight, if at all." I slowly made my way back to the Hotel with Joseph, my mind on the events that had taken place. I needed to talk to Maggie and find out what and who and if she knew why exactly these assholes decided to do what they did to her.
Walking inside I sat on the bed, I could hear Ray in the next room, Not a peep from Maggie. Perhaps she was still passed out? Which would be a good thing from the various cuts all over her body. They needed time to heal up properly.

Joseph

He shrugged, and followed her in silence. He got undessed again, and slipped into bed, looking over at her before looking up at the ceiling. He thought he should say something, but he didn't know what. He closed his eyes, and let himself drft of to sleep, hoping his sleep would be dreamless.

Aria

Climbing into bed, I closed my eyes and attempted to sleep. So many thoughts raged through my mind, I didn't know what to think nor feel anymore.
I kept thinking this quest was a waste of time, that it was too dangerous to lose the lives of my family. That who ever was trying to stop us was doing a pretty damned good job of fucking with us.
So many thoughts, so many reasons to stop it right now. But there there were other thoughts as well. Perhaps this book would free us, and perhaps it was a myth. But either way it would be nice to know and end it.
I dosed off, my mind in a million places that twisted my dreams that night. Luckily none were nightmares, just vague pictures that barely made sense to me.

ooc: this is a good place to leave this until I return on the 27th. Carry on if you want to.

One could not imagine the feeling. Ever since the beginning of time there has only been one fear in every culture, the fear of death. The all too near feature that would send you away from his plane of existence, forever. A torturous nightmare, raping you of earth, and sending you head first into the afterlife.
He felt that now, and it was nothing how he imagined.
There was peace. A deep feeling of love and understanding holding his heart. All too long it was burdened with hate and fear, but here it was all gone. The love expanded, and the pain disappeared.
It was the greatest feeling ever.
He could actually feel God's love, warming him, sending him to new levels of happines. Something that could not be compared too on earth. On earth, happiness was just a flashlight in a dark tunnel.
But here...
Here he had found the sun.
As he opened his eyes, he found himself in a light room. The walls shimmered with a golden hue. He couldn't help but smile, even the walls were sending out feelings of good.
"There you are," he turned, trying to find the voice. It wasn't exactly a voice though, more like a thought. A thought in his brain that he didn't originally think up. As if someone had just talked to him inside his head.
"Hello?"
"I've been waiting for you."
He smiled, they had been waiting for him, "I'm home..."
He repeated it, finally able to let it go, "I'm home."
Suddenly, an elderly man appeared in front of him, in dark blue robes, shaking his head.
"Not exactly." This time he spoke aloud. Although, for some reason, he didn't believe that speaking aloud and speaking in his mind were that big of a difference here.
"What do you mean?"
He stroked his long white beard, contemplating something. The man just stood in front of him, unsure of what exactly was going on with all of this. He as dead, life as over, it was time to go to heaven.
"Your destiny is not complete yet. You remember the agreement we held so long ago."
Distant memories filled back to him. Earth, his life, his old life. One moment of heaven and one forgets all those things, but this man, this being just brought it all back.
"Yes, my destiny," his voice seemed to come from far away. He had died before, and felt this before, and had to go back to earth before. It was all because of his destiny, his curse on the earth, his atrocious curse.
Something else came back to him.
"No, no, the curse was lifted. She saved me, she rescued me. We both exchanged...."
The man cut him off. His voice was forward, booming, almost as if he were strained for time in this conversation.
"It was never complete, and beside, she is no longer on earth. She died in childbirth a while ago."
He stopped at the man's words, dead? She had died. Pain entered his heart again. He physically doubled over. Pain was that much more intense, especially since it had been taken from him.
Slowly though, slowly it was seeping back. All of it, and he hated it. To have earth filled with so much pain and sorrow, and for heaven to be this beautiful and glorious. It wasn't fair at all.
"So that's it, the curse hasn't been lifted, so I have to go back."
The man in the white beard and blue robes shook his head, "Not exactly. Listen, I have much much more to tell you. There is a new assignment for you, one that if completed, will finally lift the curse, and perhaps save a couple of thousand lives in the process."
He turned, looking back at the man, really looking at him for the first time. He seemed to have the same body when they made the first deal so many hudnreds of years ago.
"What is it that you want..."
He motioned for the man to move closer, "Come, Lance. We have much to discuss."
Lance followed.

Aria

I awoke with the sounds of sparrows chirping outside the hotel window. Yawning, I rolled over and laid my head on Joseph's chest, listening to him breath.
Today we would stop and see Micheal then go on to Spain, if all went well. Rolling back over, I crawled out of bed and slowly got myself dressed, wondering how Maggie was fairing next door. I hadn't heard anything from the two of them since last night.
I did know Maggie was still alive and doing ok, I could hear her breathing in the next room.
Quietly I opened the door and ran across the street to get some breakfast for the group before we head on. Glancing up and down the street, I kept getting the feeling I was being watched by unseen, enemy eyes. Brushing that off, I went into the market and got something healthy for breakfast for once.
I had to be on guard, I knew they were lurking out there. Just waiting for a chance to get to all of us and stop the inevitable. Grabbing some bagels and fruit I went back to our room and crawled onto the bed. Leaning down I tenderly kissed Joseph, "Time to rise and shine Love." Then kissed him once more.

Erika

After a few hours of sleep I managed to drag my worn out ass out of the ground and into my car. Smirking a little at where I had slept verses a Hotel, I shook my head and got back on the road.
I had to get to spain and figure out where Vlad had vanished to on me?
I hadn't drove very far when I seen a little bed and breakfast place along side the road. That would be the perfect spot to stop and grab a bite to eat.
Locking up, I wondered inside and sat down. This place was peaceful and quaint, kind of reminded me of Grandma's place back home. I missed that diner, and the hours I spent there with friends, Just bullshitting and eating junk food.
Smiling, I at first did not hear the red head who came over to me.
"Can I take your order ma'am? Or perhaps a drink while you are deciding?"
I glanced at the menu and nodded my head, "Yes please, I would like a glass of milk and sme ice water. Perhaps ummmm.." I glanced up and down the menu one last time and then settled on the western Omlet.
"Anything else?"
"No that is it, thanks" I sat back as she walked off to put in my order. No one else was in here just yet but I could smell some good things cooking in the back.
I picked up the local news paper and sat back reading while I waited.
