Woven Rings Of Destiny ( Continuation of The Family)

"Just stay here. I'll get us a room, and something for you."
He moved inside, as a nice elder woman smiled up at him. She spoke in muttered english, but it was all he needed.
He got them a room, and found out that there was another woman staying here alone. It seems as if she came in and hour before them, and went straight to bed.
He went outside, and helped her up, "I know, it's just a couple more minutes though. We'll get something inside you, and then off to bed."
He was sounding like her mother.
Quietly, they went up the stairs to the second story. There was only one door that was closed. With a silent grunt, he knocked it off it's hinges. It was so quiet, the woman sleeping inside didn't even stir.
He helped her inside, and then left the room.
"Be quick," he said, as he closed the door, looking for that elder woman, to see if she was coming upstairs.

Aria

He helped me up the stairs and into a room then shut the door. Where was I?
I glanced around and caught sight of the lone woman on the bed, resting peacefully. I felt a smile of gratitude come over my face and wanted to hug him. How silly was that? I must be tired. Moving forward stealth like I sat on the bed and moved over her.
I had to be careful not to kill this woman with my hunger taking hold. Fangs extended I nuzzled her neck until she moaned and moved her head. Quickly I sank my teeth in and heard her gasp in her sleep, I knew by now the sensation of it was making her react as if having a wet dream.
It helped to feed and it would help me too. Our minds linked and As I drank her memories flooded into my mind, of her parents and her children. Her loneliness at times and what not. Another human emotion even vampires got that. I broke away after a few swallows. It was enough to keep me sustained until another time.
I pulled back and she whimpered softly in her sleep, reaching for me. If she only knew it was a woman beside her and not a man as she was dreaming of. Quietly and quickly as possible I got her untangled from me and out the door. I stood in the hallway, some strength returning but not much. Sleep was definately needed to complete the healing process.
"Thank you Lance.." He said nothing just moved me into another room and shut the door behind us.

He sank into the chair, that was next to a small little desk. It was nothing special, but it would work for now.
Lance looked back at her, lying on the bed, sleeping peacefully. He gave a small smile, watching her chest heave up and down in a continuous action. She would need all the rest she could now.
He reached around, grabbing the piece of cloth from out of his back.
It was covered in dirt. The cloth he had used to cover it all those years ago was now faded and matted. It barely looked like it held itself together. Indeed, when he tried to wipe the dirt off, a bunch of the cloth came with it.
Not bothering with it, he simply tore the book out of it's shell. It stood there, before him. Despite where it was and how long it had been in the gound, it didn't seem like it aged at all. Another of the magic spells that countered it.
He only had one hope. That was something he didn't want to see though. Right now, he simply wanted to hold it in his hand, and make sure that it was ok.
Despite the fact that he wanted to destroy it, he knew that his life was in this book. It held his soul to this plain of existence. Once it was gone, he'd follow.
What if he didn't go to heaven? What if he went to hell, or worse. What if nothing happened at all. The rest of his existence would be nothing more than oblivion.
At this point, he didn't care though. He wished for death, even if it were nothing, he would want it. This world was filled with too much pain, he just wanted it to end.
He wanted it all to end.
Letting his hands go over the cover, he felt the metal on the front cover. A small emblem was imbedded in the gold. Two dragons fighting, their lithe bodies twisting around five slots. Each of them big enough for a small finger, or something like that.
The ring slots.
For now, it was safe.
All of the ordeals had finally gotten the better of him, and he leaned down, folding his arms over the book. He fell asleep almost immediately.
When he was dead, that was something he would miss... sleep.

Aria

I slept for an hour maybe before I awoke with a jerking motion. The sword! Dammit I had left Joseph's sword behind. If it was still there. A sad smile tugged at my face, I had to let go, best to start now. I glanced down at my hand and the wedding ring he gave me. Reaching up I pulled it off of my finger and looked down at the diamond shaped like a heart.
Inside my mind I said good bye and slipped the ring into my pocket with the others. I felt grimy and sticky and so I moved off of the bed. Lance was asleep on the desk? Shaking my head, I moved over and shook him gently as possible.
"Lance? Wake up. Go and lie on the bed.." He mumbled something, so I figured he heard me and was waking up. Walking into the ajoining small as hell bathroom, i shut the door and stripped down.
Showering felt heavenly on my body and mind. Tired and worn out, I needed to get clean. A weird perk of mine but I wanted to wash away some of the grime on me and clear my head. An hour sleep was all I took, I knew I needed more. But fear someone would find us was top most thought in my mind.
Rinsing off, I dried and glanced at my clothes. Rather nasty looking if I did say so myself. Perhaps I could send Lance to a store or something?
Wrapping in the towel I walked out into the room, "Lance?"

Lance had taken off the shirt she had given him, looking out at the view. There was a beautiful oak tree growing next to the house, and it looked beautiful in the mid day sun. It had only been a couple of hours. Well, that was good enough.
His strength was almost all back, and he could feel it running through his veins. The silent power that came with age and wisdom of living for so long. Although it wasn't by his choice.
The black sun on his chest seemed to glow, when a few rays struck it. He stared down at the tattoo.
When he had left Cat, it had been only part of a sun, and the other half was the moon. Now though, it was back to the sun. A black sun, where his heart should have been.
He looked back at Aria coming outof the bathroom.
"You feeling better?"

Aria

I nodded my head and smiled, "Yes thank you for helping me back there with those bullets.. I was wondering by any chance.. If I funded it, would you be interested in getting us both something in a little better shape to wear?" I knew I was asking alot, but we both were dirty, well I wasn't anymore, and the thought of keeping those clothes on made me skin itch again.
They had blood on them, holes, sweat, dirt all kinds of crap.
Sighing I moved towards the bed and sat down, rubbing the towel against my hair to get it dried.
"Just an idea we both might feel better clean?" I stood up and turned to face him again, my eyes catching something on the desk.
"What's the dirt from?" I could see a mess over there, and I didn't think it came from his head?

Lance shook his head, moving over to the desk.
"No, sorry, I'm not really a shopper, and I wouldn't know what looks good on you anyway. I'd probably get you hot pants and a tank top."
He smiled at the vision that came to him.
"This, is something very special. Something I found in the cave, very old, and very valuable."
He held the book up to him, and sat down on the bed.
"Let me tell you a story. I was a couple hundred years ago, about the time that America was getting colonized. This was dark times for a lot of places, and part of that was because someone had gotten a hold of the book," he held it up, for show, "So, with a little help. I had it buried deep in the cave that we were just at. Actually, I put it on that pedastal, the one that you almost touched."
He nodded, looking at the book in it's former glory. Even it couldn't help the fate it was in. Everyone was trapped to destiny.
"It wasn't until about 1930's when I even heard of the book again. You see, it was at that time when Hitler had learned about it somehow, and had found out where it was from. That's why he wanted to conquer France so badly.
"He got the book, and nearly took over the world, except that by that time I had finally stopped him. He didn't commit suicide... he was drained. At that time, I knew it was too easy, and a pedastal was pretty stupid to put a book anywhere, so I went back in the cave, and for months and months searched the area for the perfect place. I dug a small pit, and put the book, the real book in there.
"After that, I grabbed a bunch of other books, 11 or 12 or something, and hid them all over the place. The book you gave Willow and his goons wasn't the real book, just a clever fake. This one... this is the real book. The one that will destroy everything if we don't destroy it first."

Aria

"Alright, I will go get us something to wear.." I moved to go get dressed in those clothes again when he mentioned a story?
I sat back down and listened to his words, that did make sense to me in a way. The way Hitler was, I wasn't surprised to tell the truth.
"So I gave them a fake?" I smirked and then laughed out loud. "That's just wonderful!" Sighing I shook my head, No wonder he said give it to them.
"So how is this book destroyed Lance?" I had a sinking feeling it was harder than we thought.
Rising from the bed again I walked into the bathroom and retrieved my pants and shirt.
"What's in it that drives these people, vampires to own it? I mean can you give me an example other than total world domination or destruction or something else?" I knew I was asking stupid questions but laman's terms would be perferable to this confusion.
I caught sight of his tattoo and something he said back in that wharehouse flickered in my mind. Something said, but what? I couldn't clearly recall just yet but my mind was working on that. What was this destiny with lance and this quest? Or was it destiny with Lance and Cat? I was a little lost now and gave up for the time being.

"Well, perhaps a little look see is in order then."
He moved over to the desk, and opened it up. A small wave of golden dust came from it as the pages were once again turned.
"Don't worry, without the rings inside the front cover, this is nothing more than an ordinary book. It is the rings that activate the magic inside it."
There was no title, no index. The first page had a spell, writting in a cursive handwriting. At first, it was some foreign language. Arabic, or sanskrit, but after a moment the words muddled together, and it was in plain english.
"A little trick from the book, to make it easier for people to transcribe it."
He pushed passed a few pages, going to some of the more maniplating spells.
"How about no weaknesses? No more having to feed, or feeling pain. There's one that makes whoever you touch fal in love with you. A man named Midas used a variation of that spell. Turned everything to gold. World domination is so global. There are little things here that can take your breath away."
Aftr a few pages, he pointed one out to her, "Here's the one you wanted, to turn vampires back to human. Also demons, and bringing people back from the dead. Even give life to common objects, like a sword or a boot. That one is pretty fascinating."
He pushed aside another couple of pages, "The spell to destory it, is in the back, somewhere."
He flipped through a couple more pages, and on the last one there was the spell. It was there to permanently disbind the book from it's mortal plain, and to send it to hell.
He looked at it for a moment, his heart sinking.
"No... no. It should be here."
He checked a few pages before it, and then carefully, hoping he hadn't made any mistake. He had though, he had made a dire mistake.
The last page of the book was missing, there were parts of it, where one could see it was ripped from the book itself. And on that last page was the other half of the spell that destroyed the book.
"FUCK!" He nearly screamed, closing the book very hard. It thumped as it hit the desk once more, from the power that Lance used.
He rose up, shaking his head. They had to go get it. After all this time, all these years to keep it hidden, he had to go uncover the last page.
Why was fate being so cruel?

Maggie

I felt a twinge in my back, something pressing hard against my spine. I smiled wickedly, the stupid fools, did they think a person only owned one dagger?
Carefully I felt around the back of the chair, my fingers finding two solid wood rungs running down the center. Each one was about three inches in width and there was a space of less than an inch between the two.
My hopes were up. I wiggled and squirmed in the chair, what little I could, trying to maneuver the handle of the dagger to within my reach. It wasn’t working out to my favor, but still I tried a little longer. Finally I sighed and gave up, my arms now raw from rubbing against the chair.
I began to think of different ideas to get myself out of this mess, all seemed to come up short…except for one. But it was lost when I heard a twig snap outside. It pulled me from my thoughts and alerted me to the heavy footsteps approaching the cottage. I smiled and chuckled inwardly as the two men began to whisper outside. Did they forget I am a vampire? Maybe they didn’t care in the least.
“Jesus…Gilbert. What the hell is going on I can nearly hear the others from here?”
“The fucking house was empty, somehow he knew and got out with the boy. The men are searching the house for the rings. Derrin says the boss has the book, and the other woman is dead…”
I sat bolt right in my chair, my eyes wide and anger coursing through me. I took deep breaths trying to calm myself and fought against the bonds that held me.
“You’re kidding!?”
“Nope, also says this bitch here knows were the rings are.”
I automatically thought the worst…Aria dead! One single tear slipped down my cheek and the rest burned into oblivion. They killed her and now they would all pay with their lives. I didn’t need to hear anymore of the conversation, I was beyond angry and more determined than I had ever been in my life.
I pressed back against the chair and heard it creek and groan in protest. “Ah, ha!” I thought. With my hands, I held onto the rungs of the chair, holding it in place while I pushed back again and it finally gave way. Quietly I managed to get that piece to the floor.
Stopping only for a moment to see if the two were still talking …they were..how lucky for me! Slowly I eased my body backward over the chair, unaware for the moment that the remaining shards were buried deep in my flesh. I felt my head resting on the floor seconds later and sighed with both relief and excitement, just a little ways more and I could pull my dagger. I began to ease the rest of my body to the floor when I heard them talking about Ray, Michael and the rest of us having to die. “Over my dead body!” I thought scornfully as my frame softly hit the floor.
A couple more minutes passed and I had worked my arms around my butt and finally gotten my feet loose from the chair. I was in such a trance with my anger and such I had not noticed the deep gouges I had put in each ankle, that I had two puncture wounds in my back and had slit my left wrist deeply as I maneuvered the dagger.
I paused all movement and listened in once more. The more I did the more angry I became. “So the big boss needs the rings and the book huh? Come on boys tell me who the big boss man is…Come on!” I whispered as I removed the gag. I had a hunch of who the big boss was, but it was just that….a hunch.
“Let’s go have some fun with this little bitch, find out where the rings are and go get our pay. When we have that we will kill her and go meet Derrin back at the house…..if there is a house left.”
I saw red when the man’s cynical laughter rang in my ears. I knew they were coming. Their footsteps heavy and making them sound like a herd of elephants. Quickly I scrambled to my feet taking the base of the chair up with me and moved behind the door.
When I left the cottage just a short time later, all that remained was a pile of ash and one dead corpse with his throat torn out and maybe a drop of blood left in his body. Maybe! I grinned wickedly, the devil himself would have been proud, as I licked away the drop of blood at the corner of my lips. I felt a new rush on top of the adrenaline that already pumped through me, I had never before drained a vampire, only taken a little here and there from Ray when I had needed to. A few of the man’s thoughts invaded my mind but they were not enough to deter me from finding Derrin and the one responsible for Aria’s death.
My feet were like wings as I headed back toward the house, my senses sharp and keen. I picked up the scent of three and stopped, crouching low in some brush. I watched them carefully and caressed the automatic rifle I had taken from Gilbert, easing back the trigger and spraying them with gunfire. Each of them was hit at least once, nothing fatal of course, and they all scattered. I laughed hysterically as I watched them scamper off away from me and the house. Ha three more down…. well sort of.
The more I thought about Aria, the more my heart broke and the faster my feet went with my fury. I was a silent blur moving around the trees and brush. “Find Derrin” I kept telling myself over and over again. As I neared the house I began to slow down, trying to calm my breath and the beating of my heart. Couldn’t very well sneak up on him if I couldn’t be quiet. In no time I found Derrin, standing outside the house and listening to his men inside searching. It was a wonder the police hadn’t come for all the ruckus they were making. “All the better” I smirked.
Where exactly my strength came from I wasn’t quite sure, but amazingly it had come and I wrestled Derrin to the ground. I held my dagger at his throat and held the rifle pointed at his head. He struggled beneath me, nearly throwing me off, but I held fast and laughed at him. “Hmm, a dagger at your throat and a gun to your head. Do you really think that is wise?” I laughed when he tensed beneath me and ceased his fight.
“Why you!”
“Why me what?……Bitch, cunt whore? Yeah well I try and you my friend will never know for certain now will you? Now pick up that phone real nice and slow, call your boss back.” When he hesitated, I reminded him that one squeeze of the trigger would disintegrate him. As he dialed the phone I pulled my dagger away and took the phone from him, patiently waiting for the voice on the other end.

Aria

I leaned over his shoulder and read some of what was in these spells he was pointing out. So many various spells it was unfathomable how much time went into this one book couldn't come close to the time it would take to fix everything it could do.
He went flipping through, looking for the spell to destroy the book. At his loud curse I jumped backwards a good two feet and gasped.
"Shit you scared me!" He looked angry, very angry.
"Wh-What is it?" I looked at the book laying there and had a sinking feeling I knew what was wrong.
"Please tell me it's in there Lance?" I whispered, my eyes wide as I stared up at his angry features.
"It's not is it?" I sat down hard on the bed, gripping the towel edges in my fingers. From his look at me, I knew it wasn't there.
"Fucking hell!" standing up i walked into the bathroom and shut the door. Seconds later I came out, dressed once again.
"How could it come up missing? only you knew where the book was right?" I threw on my shoes and stood, running my fingers through my absentmindedly. I paced the room a second and grabbed in my back pocket my two credit cards.
"I am going to get us something to wear and return as soon as possible. The only thing left now is to think where it could be? Lord I hope it isnt back in that nightmare of a cave!"
I didn't know the concesquences of this spell I just knew it was to destroy the book entirely. Take it away from this earth forever, keeping man kind safe.
It was tempting though, to put the rings into the book and reincarnate Joseph and all my family, the thought did enter my mind, but I knew better. I knew it was wrong and I couldn't do it. Stifling the urge to pick up the book, I glanced at Lance and then reached into my pocket.
Pulling out the two rings and my wedding ring, I picked up the matching rings and handed them to him.
"Keep those safe Lance.. I don't want them.. I dont want that temptation either." placing the rings in his palm I put the wedding ring back into my pocket and headed to the door. Looking back, I said nothing, the look on his face was enough to tell me to just leave it alone for now.
"I'll be back... Can I get you anything?" My eyes roamed over him judging his size pretty accurately and his height. I was good at picking out Joseph's clothes. I could get Lance something as well.
Walking out of the room, I exited the building and looked around for the nearest clothing store.
An elderly woman told me there was one and it was two blocks away. Nodding and thanking her I made my way there. My mind going over all that we had gone through and for nothing! I felt my heart sink, but where there's a will there's a way. I just had to help him find that way. For both our sakes.

Willow spat onto the ground, as the boats finally reached the dock. He smiled as the phone rang. That would be Erika, right on time. The little bitch liked to keep track of everything.
He didn't even need to double check.
"Don't worry, everything's taken care of. I told you we'd get the book, and we got it. The rings are as good as ours, you'll get your shit by tonight, so long as we get our money."
He moved into the back of one of the car's, as another person drove them the fuck out of this hick town. His eyes were slanted as he took another look at the book.
Why would that thing be worth so much? Just a stupid book. She wanted it though, no problem to him.

Erika

I hung up the phone, no need to waste words on the illiterate. Climbing back into the car, I sped off as I cranked the radio. It was time to get back into Paris and get a nice suite for the night. I didn't know where Vladamir was and right now, did not care. I had to check and make sure the cash was accounted for and ready for when Willow and his thugs arrived.
I made a note to hire a few body guards while heading for the Hotel. Never trust one of your own kind, especially a vampire. Greed did alot of things to people of all walks of life.
Checking my wrist watch, I had a few hours to get there and get settled before dipshit arrived. He best watch his tone of voice, I was getting annoyed with it, and he keeps forgetting who has the cash to wipe him off of this earth.
A small smile crept to the corner of my mouth as my hands tightened on the wheel. Dead, the bitch was dead and soon the rest would follow her into the grave. Picking up the phone I dialed Chris.
"Hello?"
"Chris.. You at the house?"
"Yeah, think I was out somewhere else?"
"I want the little boy brought to me alive. Understand? Kill the rest, but the boy comes to me. Got that?"
"Yeah, well no one is here. No boy, we do have the woman though. Derrin caught her trail easily."
"Kill them, bring me the child and don't waste time." I hung up and tossed the phone into the passenger seat.
A little boy, hmm A naturally born vampire boy. I always wanted a son of my own. Perhaps if he was smart, cute and well mannered I would keep him for myself?

"Yeah, yeah," he hung up the phone, "Stupid bitch."
Willow checked the clock. They were going to make the rendezvous point in plenty of time. He had the book, the cunt brough the money, and things would be as smooth as silk.
The phone rang again, he clicked it open. Damnit, that stupid woman. No wonder they are such idiots. No faith in their men.
"What the hell do you want?" he said loudly.

Lance laid down in the bed for a moment, cursing from time to time. He couldn't believe they had to go after the last page. After all this time. It was lost for a reason, a fucking reason.
And now they had to go digging up the past to get it.
Damnit, he punched the wall. It just wasn't fair at all. It was bad enough they had to get out the book.
As bad as it was now, it would be ten times worse with that last page attached. So many people's lives would be in danger. Everything they had ever hoped for. Up to this point it was a fucking game.
Now...
Now the stakes had been raised.
Lance wasn't sure how long he had boiled over on the bed, but eventually he drifted off into a dreamless sleep. He didn't awake for a long time.
It was his body, telling him to calm down and relax. He had just come back to life today, that would drain anyone. It wasn't until the sun was setting that he woke up.

Aria

I purchased everything I could find that was suitable and comfortable. For movement, walking, running riding and even fighting. Had to be lose enough to move in. I found Lance some slacks and a black button up shirt, loose fitting so he could hide anything he wanted to under it. Purchased shoes and socks for both of us, I checked his size before I left the room. The elderly woman was asking me if I was buying for my husband?
I nodded, just so no one would suspect anything, but a lump rose in my throat, threatening to choke off my air supply.
I wouldn't think of that right now, it was time to move on. For survival and sanity.
Walking back to the bed and breakfast I watched around me to make sure I wasn't being followed. I even let my senses seek for anything that wouldn't normally alert a human. Walking up the stairs, I walked inside the room and locked the door.
Setting everything down as quietly as possible, I glanced at Lance sleeping on the bed. He looked worn out and as tired as I felt. Pulling out some jeans and a t shirt, I walked into the bathroom and showered once more. Changed into clean clothes and laid down on the bed. I dozed in and out of sleep, content to lay here until I felt a little better. Lance wasn't awake, and I doubt he would scream about sharing the only bed in the room.
I closed my eyes and finally dozed off again.

When his eyes finally opened, they registered that he was awake. He turned, slightly, seeing that Aria was in the bed with him. He watched her for a moment, sleeping soundly.
She had been through as much as he had, even more. The poor thing, she needed this rest.
He got up, looking at the clothes he had gotten. Nothing too fancy, but definitely something other than the sweat he wore now.
He took them off, and stood completely naked as he glanced over the clothing. She would have to pick something stylish, wouldn't she? Not that he minded, but he would have done just find with some jeans and a shirt.
Women were never satisfied with simple things though. Sighing, he put the things on. They did feel good, chalk it one up for Aria. Comfort, and stylish. That's two for two.
He grabbed the book, and the rings he had gotten from her. Sticking them both in his pocket, he grabbed the book and stuck it in one of the bags that the clothing was in. That would work for now.
It was completely useless without the last page now, but that didn't make it any less important. For the time being it was simply excess baggage though.
Moving the chair over to the window, he sat down and looked out at the night sky for just a little bit. In all this chaos, it was nice to spend a few moments relaxing, and feeling a bit more like himself once again.
After a while, he gently poked Aria, "Come on, we gotta go."

Aria

Mumbling, I felt something poke me in my side. Stretching I rolled over and ignored it for now. I was tired and I wanted to sleep.
Yawning, My eyes still closed I started to drift off again when I felt a slight shake on my shoulder.
Rolling over, I smiled and opened my eyes.
"Hey.." A quiet hello, I was so tired, i wondered if I was still dreaming?

Lance looked at her, an almost tired look on her face. He walked over, grabbing her coat, and then threw it at her on the bed.
"We've got a book to destroy, and I don't know how long it'll be before those vampires know that they have the wrong book."
Once they did, they would be after Aria again. With any luck, her friends were still alive. If they weren't though, they had the majority of what they needed. They could go on alone.
Right now, he didn't care about anyone else, they simply needed to get out of here. He didn't want to be in any place for too long. With or without vampires on his trail.
This was getting too hard, and it was only the first day.

Aria

Yawning I sat up and nodded my head, "Sorry.." I felt drained as badly as he looked drained. Gathering my things, I tried to hurry up as best I could. Stumbling I managed to get my shoes on and grab my bag of clothes. In the old bag I put my dirty things into it and took out my ring. Carrying them with us as we walked outside, I tossed the ruined clothes into the dumpster and stood waiting for Lance.
"We taking the motorcycle or bus or something else?" I spoke up quietly, having no energy to say more than that. I teetered a little on my feet but I kept my eyes open.

Bus? Was there a bus for them to take? He wasn't sure. Maybe she had used the bus before. Well, in any case, she didn't have to take the bus if she didn't want to.
"You said you've got some friends, right? Well, at this point, we need all the people we can get. I would go on alone, but I need to get the last page, and I can't do that alone. So, hop on."
The bike roared to life, as he put it off his kickstand.
"You need to stay awake to tell me where I'm going."

Aria

I nodded my head and climbed on the back of the motorcycle. My hands gripped around him tightly at first then relaxed a little.
"Head to the main highway, head north." I pointed towards the road and he took off. Once on the highway, things flew by pretty fast. No way to talk and hear each other, we were in silence and in our own thoughts the whole way up the highway.
Cars passed and some little girl waved at me, i smiled and waved back and then she was gone. I was hoping they protected Micheal while I was away. Guarded him with their lives. My heart sank a little, worried Maggie had indeed been taken. I prayed to god she hadn't and everything was alright.
"Ray, I'm coming home. Almost there. Stay safe.." I hoped Ray hadn't shut me out again, that he could hear my words and knew I was coming.
I pointed to his right at the exit we needed to take. One good thing about where we were heading it was only two hours away, and closing.

Maggie

"Your head on a platter, your insides draped over a fire place hearth, roasting perfectly." I paused for a moment and listened to his tirade. Chuckling the whole time.
"Now, now. Is that anyway to talk to a lady? I have your man Derrin, and you will never have the rings. Never." I was taking a stab at my hunch and I knew it but if I was right then the message would be recieved.
"Tell Vladamir and Erika that retrobution is sought....two lives for two lives. I am coming for them." I didn't wait for any reply from the man on the other end of the line. I pulled the trigger then hung up the phone.
Derrin's body turned to ash beneath me and I heard everything come to a halt within the house. "Well boys I would love to stay and party with you but I must go." I said aloud to no one in particular and rose from the pile of ash.
I reached out to find Ray "Ray it's Maggie. I got free...where the hell are you and Micheal?" I didn't stand there and wit for a reply but listened as I made my way through the woods. I had to find the two of them and get the hell out of here.

Ray

After making sheer Milky was hiding well under the rotting log I darted in to the woods fallowing Maggie’s sent to a shack. I frown as I look in seeing the broken chair and the pills of ash. I then smile broadly as I realize that Maggie as been defending her self admirably. I cock my head slightly as I her some thing behind me. I stand still as if I didn’t hear a thing then as I sense some one charging me I jump strait up in to the air a good 20 feet. I look down and I see the surprise on the mans face as he looks up at me.

I pull out on of my daggers as I see him begin to point a gun up at me. I throw the dagger down hard watching as it impales it’s self in one of his eye sockets. I then scream with pain and rage as I her a gun shot and feel the built slam it to my side. I fall to the ground looking arund quickly then I dart in to the woods holding my side as I circle around the guy how shot me as he steps in to the clearing looking arund for me. Thinking that he kissed me.

I com out behind hem my sword coming out of it sheath with a faint his the man terns quickly taking aim, but he's to late as my sword is already sliding threw his neck his head flying up in to air as blood erupts from he stump of his neck. I dart back in to the concealing shadows of the woods as I look arund for more enemies. I fined one creeping up to the shake obvisly he herd the gun shot. I smile as I fallow him growing closer then in a bluer of movement I rap my arum arund his neck and giving a quick twist I hear the popping sound of his spine snapping.

I stand the for a few seconds lessoning when I hear Maggie’s voice in my head. I send “We’re safe my love, fallow me mentally you should be able to focus on where I am.” With that I run back to where I left Milky. I come up to the loge slowly as I herd voices near the log.

“I know the boys her some where I could smell his sent with the big guys then the big one went that way but the boy is know longer with him.”

The second voice “then he’s some where arund her start looking his probably under some thing wet to hide his sent.”

I growl under my breath as I step out of the trees “Looking for something” I say in a menacing tone. They tern sharply surprise in the eyes at my sinking up on them. I walk forward my sword still in my hand. They pull out guns and begin to fire them at me I feel three hit my stomach and chest before I cut off one of the guys head. I feel another slam in to my shoulder making me drop my sword. I dive at the last guy my fangs sinking in to his neck I rip out his throat letting his dead body fall to the ground.

I look around as fade back in to the shadow waiting for Maggie before I go get Mike incase theirs more men lurking arund.

Maggie

Gunfire erupted behind me as two of the men came out of the house and found Derrin and saw me. I heard a bullet whiz by my ear, leaving in it's wake a warm blast of air. Another bullet made a plunk sound as it hit a tree and buried in it. Several more flew by and ricochede off rocks here and there.
I began running faster, hearing Ray in my head. I locked on to him and felt his pain each time something pierced his skin. He was worn and I could feel it.
What seemed like an eternity later I found Ray hiding in the shadows. I looked around me to make sure no one was following then I crouched down beside him. He was bleeding from at least four different places, that I could see. A hand caressed his face "Where is Micheal? We have to get him and get out of here." I didn't tell him about Aria, I knew how he felt about her and knew it would send him into a rage. He was in no shape to go into that state.
I helped him up from the ground "Let's go get Micheal and find someplace to hide and rest.....all right love?"
