Woven Rings Of Destiny ( Continuation of The Family)

Joseph

He sat down, watching her. He glanced away from her beautiful form in the small towel, and looked at the cage full of bats. Although most of them had resigned themselves to a nap, Roland was staring at them through the bars, although quietly. He grinned at the little mammal, and shook his head.

"No. I don't want to get them all worked up. Better to get them settled down for the long flight now. Besides, I thought we'd have to be leaving soon in order to catch the flight." Once again, he acted hurt, pouting, "Or am I just no longer attractive to you?"

Aria

Slipping out of the towel, I reached down and picked up my jeans and slid them up. Watching him pout, so much like his son its cute. I slip on my shirt and bend over the bed, kissing him gently before moving back just a little bit.
"You know I find you very attractive and sexy.. Not to mention built in the right places.. or I would have married Rolland.." Chuckling at his look I slip on my shoes and started picking up bags.
"We do have a flight, I only wish that the others would have made it here in time to join us. I got an idea though.. Load up the car for me Love? Please?" I kissed him and trotted out the door to the office.
"Hi there, I have two friends that might come by looking for me. Their names are Steele and Talia. No, no last names. Anyways tell them we flew to London and to join us there at the St. Martin square Bed and Breakfast."
"Write it down ma'am" He was edgy wasn't he?
Smiling I wrote it all down and included reservation numbers that I always used to fly. If they wished to join me I would pay for their tickets at the airport.
Handng him the note, I thanked him and slipped him a fifty above the room rental to make sure he did as I asked.
"Thank you sir." Turning I trotted back outside and started loading the trunk of the rental car.
"Ready to get going?"

Joseph

He sighed, and got up, grabbing up the bags and carrying them out to the car. She joined him as he finished putting their things in the car, putting the bats in the back seat and moving into the passenger's seat. "I'm as ready as I will be, love. I do have a question, though. Where is our son?"

Aria

I cocked a brow as he moved into the passenger seat. Shrugging I climbed into the drivers seat and started the car.
"Oh i sold him to gypsies for wheat bread..." I let that hang in the air a minute and rolled my eyes that he had to ask me that.
"Micheal is with his nanny safely hidden from anyone and everyone. Protected and assuredly safe. You know I wouldn't let harm come to him.." I pulled out onto the main street and drove the few miles to the exit and jumped on the interstate. A few more miles i took the exit to the airport. I pulled into the rental car place and turned in the car, paying with cash for the rental once again.
Loading our baggage onto a cart a young guy helped us into the airport with all our things. Checking in at the desk, We got our tickets and tags for our bags. Making sure everything was locked up tightly and ready, Joseph checked his bats one more time before they were loaded. Passing through the metal detector we boarded the plane right behind Ray.
"Good to see you made it Ray.." I touched his shoulder briefly before sitting down by the window and strapping in. Joseph sat down beside me and waited though he looked a little upset with me.

Joseph

He sighed, looking over at Aiabefore setling himsef in his set. After takeoff, he got himself a pillow, and yawned as he closed his eyes, decidin totake a litle nap. e remembered, not that long ago, leaving London with the Family. And now he returned, the last one alive, starting a real family.

His houghts drfted as he dremed. It wasn't the horrid nightmars from his searc for his wife, but the memories of long ago coming back to him. The room was dark, ad he sat at the long table, hearing te mutters of those of lower station, and he read. An ancient dialect, even then, he sudied the ways of those longpast, sarching for the answers he seeked.

Those answers now sat next to him as he slept quietly among the prey that would slay them, if they knew what they were.

Aria

I glanced over at Joseph, sleeping soundly beside me. His face unreadable in expression. I leaned towards him and rested my head on his strong shoulder. My hand reaching down and twining with his, I held it softly in my own.
I sighed heavily, thinking about how time just seemed to stand still when ever i was with him. It felt good, and I had missed him terribly through the long year apart. I had cried when he left, uncertain I would see him again, but knew he was the only one left alive to stop Vladamir's evil demented thoughts of controlling the world.
The cabin grew quiet, this was a very late flight and all were sleeping but me and possibly Ray sitting in front of us. But Ray kept to himself as usual, I didn't think he would ever forgive me for what had happened, but I did keep hoping.
Foolish I knew but I never liked to hurt anyone. I lfted my head and glanced at Joseph once more and smiled. He looked so young and innocent when he slept, peaceful at times. No nightmares tonight it appeared and I thanked whatever god there was for that. Kissing him gently twice before laying back on his shoulder, I listened to the silence and for once my mind thought of my son.
He was only a year old, but boisterously loud. Always laughing and jabbering. I missed him dearly, And hoped we could stop along the way to Spain to see him. I laid my other hand over the one I held and softly drew circles on his skin, Loving that feeling passing between us even while he slept.

Joseph

He smiled in his sleep, his dreams slowly sliding away to a welcoming timelessness. His hand sent little charges up to his brain, which slowly opened his eyes. Joseph smiled at Aria, his hand taking hers in hand.

"Hey there, bueatiful. Enjoying the trip?"

Aria

Smiling I tightened my hold a little on his hand, "Yes love, enjoying it so far.. It could be a whole lot better though.. If you care to follow me?" I stood up and moved around him and down the hallway between first class where we were and the stairs down to coach. Opening the bathroom door I stepped inside and cocked my finger at him.
C'mon clearly in my eyes.

Joseph

He raised an eyebrow, and got up to follow her. Down the dark plane, passing people curled up in their seats, heads resting on little pillows as the pulled blankets around themselves. A large grin spread across his face as she moved into the bathroom. Following her in, he shut the door to the small space, changing the display from 'vacant' to 'occupied', and locked the sad excuse for a door, smiling as he looked deep into Aria's eyes.

"Mmm. Thinking of joining the Mile High Club, hun?" He ran a hand down her side, pulling her close against him, his breath washing across her lips as their eyes met, his staring deep into hers, trying to see her thoughts, her soul. "Or do you just need help to get the juices flowing?"

Aria

I jerked him to me, my lips meeting his in a wild abandon. I broke away, sighing in pleasure.
"I want to join that club with you.." I whispered over his lips as my hands ran down his sides and gripped him to me tightly.
"Oh how I missed you this past year, seems like forever since we stood like this." I smiled, my eyes closing a minute as I felt the familiar tingles of anticipation course through me.
"Touch me, my Love?"

Joseph

He smirked, and pressed his lips to hers in a passionate kiss. His passion calling to hers for a few long minutes before he slowly slid his lips from hers, breathing deeply. "With me? I'm flattered. I thought for sure you'd be calling a flight attendent in here to have his wicked ways with you."

He grinned, and ran his hands down her clothes, feeling the fabric under his fingertips before sliding his hands under her clothes. Flesh upon flesh. His skin tingled with delight as it touched hers, and he thanked God again for her, and for him being the one she loved. His lips met hers again, hungry for a taste of such perfection as his fingers deftly work at removing her clothes, exposing her bare skin to his need, his want, his love, his gaze, his touch.

Their first time together again. He wasn't sure if he should he sad that they didn't have a bed and more time, or excited by the fact anyone could hear them, and at the novelty of sharing their passions in a new way. In the end, it was excitement, but for his wife, that won out. Fabric slid against smooth skin as he undressed her, his eyes roaming across the curves of flesh exposed to his sight once again as his fingertips trailed across her body, his flesh grazing that which he hand longed to touch and see again for so long. Moaning lightly against her mouth, his hands pressed againgt her skin, her naked body, pulling her tight against himself in his need.

Aria

He peeled of my clothing, not once did he hesitate in undressing me. Nor did I think twice about stopping, I wanted him and I wanted this.
It had been too long since we had touched in this manner. My lips trailed along his jaw, up to his mouth, sliding my tongue along the seam of his lips, begging entry inside. My hands worked furiously, trying to get to his skin and get those clothes off. Instead of worrying about his shirt, I just reached down and unbuttoned his pants. Pulling down the zipper I had him in my hand within seconds.
The tiny room became hot and cramped, and it felt good.
"Please? Now Joseph?" I panted against his lips, trembling with my want to feel him inside me once again. I looked behind me at the very low sink and smiled. Sliding back a little I sat on the edge of the sink and pulled him forcefully between my spread thighs.

Joseph

Joseph smiled, and Moved into her embracing thghs. Their passions an bodies mixed, sewat running across theirskn as their bodies pressed together, flesh to flesh. For most of the flight they occupied that bathroom, working their bodies together as they worked for that plasure that they could share. They righted their clothes as hey returned to their seats for the last few minutes of the flight. Joseph took Aria's hand in his own, smiling over at her as they basked in the shared pleaure of what they hd jst finished. Several people sitting near the bathrooms had smiled at te couple as they went back to sit down, no doubt having heard the sounds of their coupling.

"I love you. You're the most beautiful and sexy woman alive. I'm only glad I can call you mine." He kissed her cheek, and put an arm around her, sighing in contentmnt as the plane began to land.

Aria

The two merged into one, taking and giving pleasure to each other. Time didn't stand still but in their little world it had. Forgotten was the plane or people outside the door. Forgotten was the quest and their troubles outside the room. Passionately they coupled and exhasted they left the bathroom.
Smiling, they made their way to their seats and sat quietly. Content and satisfied for the moment.
I gazed over into his loving face and smiled, "I love you, Joseph. And We'll figure out who is luckier later." Smiling, I winked at him and buckled into my seat.
"We're here already??" Man time did fly when having fun.
I heard the captain come on over the system and annouce we were ready to land.
Once landed we gathered our things and departed the plane.
"Well we're here Love.. Time to settle in for a bit and do some archive researching." Taking his hand in mine, I kissed his lips once more and let him lead the way through the crowded airport.

Talia

Talia sat in the seat in front of Aria and said not a word; she knew Aria or Joseph did not notice her. And she was glad.

Talia had left the bar with all thoughts of going to the address but then remembered that she had Dante with her. Dropping him and his meal home, Talia circled the town for a couple of hours before parking outside the hotel. She had hesitated to enter, infact she did not go at all. Instead she had followed them to the airport and questioned the attendant about getting a last moment placement. With time to spare she got the seat ands with a zip of a credit card she had paid for it.

Talia called her assets and arranged accommodation. That was taken care of. When the plane landed she quickly exited and stood at the entrance hoping that she could spot Aria and her husband before they left. Aria had wanted to converse with her.

And what of Joseph the cold one? He was obviously an extremely old vampire and a force to be reckoned with, which is why Talia had not said more than a terse hello to him at the time of their first meeting.

Talia clutched the briefcase she held tighter and leaned against a pillar, her long hair fluttering across her face and bothering her eyes. Sometimes life was a drag, and she had lived hundreds of years and still she had no wish but to find a real family and end her miserable existence happily and as naturally as a vampire could hope for.

But that was impossible, after all something for that was all she could be a thing, albeit a deadly one, that had survived for so long would not naturally one day up and die. She wished however that that would happen....

Ray

I fined my set one row up from Aria and Joseph on the opiset side of the plane. I look out the window watching as the plain takes of and land gives way to water. I lean back in my set falling asleep. I wake a few hours later and look around seeing that Aria and Joseph have slipped off most likely to become the newest members of the famed mile high club. I shake my head and look back out the window. I smile sadly as I catch the sent of sex as the two love bird com back. I don’t even need to look over to know that it’s them.

A few minuets later I see with relief as land appears once more under the plain and London spreads out before me. I watch as the ground comes closer becoming antsy wanting off of this plain the feel of so many people around me is starting to get to me.

As soon as the doors open I’m up and ready to go. I fallow a fumiler lady out of the plain, I sye with relief at getting away form so many in so little space. I watch as the fumier girl walks to a pillar leans agenst it watching the gate way obvisly waiting for some one. My eyes catch hers for a second and it comes to me she’s the one who lived in the house down the beach from my light house. I neaver met her formily but I had seen her thear and in town. I shrug wondering why she has come I move to the other side of the pillar she’s on and tern looking fore Aria and Joseph to disembark.

Talia

Talia saw him walk out of the plane and shivered slightly as their eyes met. he was the one that lived in the light house the reclusive loner. Talia knew now as he went on the other side of the pilar that he too was a vampire.

Ironic . she thoughtAll of a sudden I am running into a whole damn lot of vampires. .

He seemed to be waiting for someone. His mind was shut tightly and Talia found that she could not break through the rigid hold that he cloaked his thoughts in.

However, she knew instantly that he would have had to have suffered some great pain before to cause this reaction.

Talia took a Jolly Rancher Candy, cherry red from in her pocket and popped it into her mouth. She was wholesomely addicted to these things.

I wish the two lovebirds would hurry up Talia thought checking her thin dainty silver watch.

Aria

I pushed Joseph off the plane before me, grumbling about slow poke males as I walked. I glanced up and spotted Ray.
"Ray, can you help me with these bags please?" I reached down to grab the two carry on's and sent Joseph after our luggage.
"Hand me your claim ticket so Joseph can get the bags for us..." I glanced around a moment then noticed the car rental agency.
"We need to rent a car to get to the Hotel.." Setting down the two bags I stood before Ray and looked up at him, He looked brooding again.
"Oh Ray.. please cheer up hun? For me? Fuck it, not for me just for the hell of it?! Don't make me kick your butt mister.." Smiling up in his dark face, I wished I could heal his pain. Sighing, I glanced around again and noticed Joseph moved off to get the bags, not to happy about that either I bet.
"Ray? Will you go get us a car or truck? I will go confirm the Hotel reservations.. Please?" I handed him my credit card and waited to see if he would take it or just glower at me all night.

Talia

Talia made my way up to the two as they came out. Aria immeadiantly accosted 'Ray' to do something or the other. Talia wondered if she would acknowledge her or not. In her mind Talia could tell that she was aware of her presence on some level.

Talia felt how Ray's pain accelerated around her and wondered why but said nothing.

Deciding that nothing ever got done standing around Talia spoke up.

"Hello Aria,Joseph, I have already rented two cars in advance; it was taken care of by some friends of mine, " I cleared my throat a little "If it is fine with you all I suggest that you take one of the two "

I avoided the stares of the three. There was nothing I hated more than having to wait for an answer.

Ray

I look down at Aria’s credit cards and say in a cold voice “I’ve got my own.” I glance at the girl that was standing on the other side of the pillar my cold eyes apprizing her for a second before I hand Aria my bagwig claim ticket. I say “It’s a crate with my blades in it.” I move to the car rental and rent my own car not wanting to share with any one ells especially Aria and Joseph. I shudder as I take a deep breath trying to get her sent out of his nostrils.

Aria

"Alright Ray.." I turned to look at the person speaking to me and stopped short.
"Well I see you decided to come along Talia. Welcome. Hmm. Already have rental cars huh? Alright, I have to go check our hotel reservations. I'll be right back."
I handed Joseph Ray's ticket in which he handed to a young man, who ran off through the crowd to gather our luggage.
Calling the Hotel I found that their rooms were all full, even though we had reservations and conformation numbers.
After a few minutes and very angry at them for screwing up, they gave me an address to a Town Home that the owner rented out and was currently available.
After a few more minutes they agreed, after speaking with the manager/owner, to give us the town home for half price.
"Thank you. Address?" They gave me the address and said they would alert the cook we were arriving. I informed them once we arrived, I would not need any staff other than a maid. All settled and address in hand I walked back over to Talia and Joseph.
"Are the bags loaded?" With the nod of Joseph's head, we headed out to the rental cars. Joseph taking one car and Talia and I in the other I gave her the address to the town home.
Once inside and moving through traffic I asked her,
"Why did you come all this way if you dont intend on staying and helping us?" This was the vibe I got clearly from her mind. She did not want to be around anyone it felt like. I was more than curious for her motives. "And did Steele accompany you?"

Talia

Talia carefully steered the car around the next corner before answering.

"I have no idea why you want me to help you or in what matter? And I am sorry if it seems that I do not want to help, but I am not one to socialise much. I have always been a loner"

Talia winched at the lie she so carefully spoke, it was true of now, but before she had not been a loner. She had loved deeply once and lost and as a result had no intention of loving or trusting again, but these people and their apparent quest intrigued her, stirred something deep inside that had lain dormant

"As for Steele, I sent him a ticket by mail form the airport, you see I had one of my servants follow him. If he wants to come,he'll be able to get here."

Talia let that hang in the air. Focusing again on the road.

Joseph

Joseph did what was asked of him, getting in the second rental car. He let Roland out of his cage, letting the large fruitbat climb onto his shoulder and squeak. He sighed, following the other car.

"Life moves pretty fast, Roland. You know what, that's what he actually said to me once. 'Life moves too fast for us to keep up, no matter how much of it we may have.' He was right, Roland was. Good times, back then. BUt times change, people die. Most of the vampires I knew are dead Roland. Kind of odd, considering people don't beleive in us anymore."

Aria

I pointed out the town house and the car stopped. I turned and glanced at Talia.
"For now knowledge is the key to the book. I have part of what I need but I want to know just how deadly the book is. IF anyone knows for certain. I am not sure how you are linked, But I think Steele has something to do with this as well." I climbed out of the car and walked to the trunk to retrieve my bags.
"I would like you to come in and talk for a bit, see what you might know. You could know something important. Joseph would think of things I wouldn't to ask."
I grabbed the bag and walked over to his car parked behind this other.
"Got everything Love?"

Joseph

He pulled the car behind the other, and parked. Climbing out, he nodded to Aria, and gathered together their bags. No doubt Ray was back at the airport, being detained by officials because no self-respecting airlines in America would let someone take blades like his with them unless maybe they had filled out two tons of paperwork, which he didn't. And that is exactly why Joseph had the shipped 'specially'.

"Yeah, hun. I'll have to go out in a while, pick up the things the airlines don't let you take with you. You lead the way, I got this stuff."

Roland stayed perched on Joseph's shoulder, voicing his hunger. The large bat then began nibbling on Joseph's ear. "Settle down, Roland, I'll get you something once we're in the house."
