OOC: tell me if wrong please I just getting in due to Shaq so ya lol...anywho
IC:The lone figure walked down a silent road. Seeing a sign pointing towards Xaeviers school. He grinned this had been so easy...eventually he made it to the gates of the school and with that he climbed them (Magma is good at climbing) and felt the heat rising below his feet. Two miles below his feet Magma was rising "lets burn this bitch" he said to himslef as Magma walked across the ground....
OOC If you need to see a bio I can make one I kept the post pretty basic so no confusion...sorry I didn't know what time of day it was....
"Why do I feel like a fly," Rogue muttered to Wizard while slipping a glove off. Seeking help or not, Rogue didn't trust anyone who shot up a costco. Not only was it stupid but put civilians at an unnessessary risk.
The inside of the ship was dark with sharp shadows due to the bright light outside, she noted as she lead the way aboard. "Hello, is anybody home?"
OOC: i'm going to do another Mutant Rights post while waiting for Vix to come back on (which will probably be while i'm in bed)
Kain stepped into an auditorium, walking slowly up to the podium standing before a group of anxious reporters. He had finished his studying and his research, and had gotten a call not more than ten minutes prior to reveal the existence of two Mutant groups that the government allowed to exist, though he couldn't give out details. As the reporters looked on, murmuring in hushed whispers, as he pulled out a slide tray and set it on a projector. He thumbed the projector to the first slide, and then smiled, clearing his throat.
"You want answers. I'm going to attempt to give you some. This first image was taken at a government training facility. The masked group you see before you is called X Force. They work for the government, and are mutants. Their job is to make sure that mutants like these..." With that, he changed the slide to a combat scene, where X Force was fighting a particularly nasty group of mutant terrorists. "To make sure that mutants like these don't cause trouble." He changed the slide again, revealing footage of a government weapons program, and the escape of one of its test subjects. "This man is called by our government Weapon X. He is an assassin, or was, until a group that we know only as the Xmen, took him in. Nothing is known about the Xmen, except that they are NOT our enemy." He went through about forty more slides, commenting briefly on each one, before shutting off the projector and making his final statement.
"Yes, Mutants are dangerous. But so are Police Officers. Soldiers. Bouncers. The difference between a dangerous individual and a threat to society is, a dangerous person CAN kill. A threat to society WILL kill. Not all Mutants are against us, though clearly, some are. We must put our trust in groups like X Force and the Xmen, and trust that some mutants see peace as the only option for our continued survival as a species." He finished his speech, then left the building quickly, hoping to make it home in time to get some sleep.
Wizard followed after Rogue, the light staying near him. He went about examining the ship with one section of his mind, following her with another, and keeping his eyes out for anything suspicious with the other. He trusted Rogue more than anyone else, but he knew that even she couldn't be everywhere all the time. Still, he would rather be beside her when the chips were down and the fighting needed to be done. So he stayed close, only checking over his shoulder occasionally to make sure Havok and DeadHand were close by.
Floating along at a normal walking pace, Rogue followed the lights as they switched on and off in front of and behind the party respectively. In the darnkess beyond the lights she could hear something moving, though never enough to know what it was.
Wizard was right behind her, probably admiring the view, she mused for a moment before pushing such thoughts away. "So, Miss Ship, how badly hurt is Fantomex?"
Wizard sneezed, as if someone were thinking about him. He shook his head, and walked up beside Rogue. This ship...there was something about it that made him...nervous, to say the least. Everything about it felt wrong, as if it didn't belong anywhere. To tell the truth, the ship made him feel like wrapping his arms around Rogue's shoulders and burying his face against her, shuddering and sobbing. He found it creepy. Extremely creepy, in fact, especially the way the lights changed behind them. He coughed slightly.
"Uh, Rogue, I don't like the way this place looks."
OOC: i'm going to go to bed... i'll be back on in the morning my time, but i won't be on at all tomorrow afternoon (mom wants me to go up to her house)
"There is no need to scream. He is right this way." the computerized voice says.
"Oh, I'm sorry." Havok apologizes. Pausing for a minute the X-Man catches himself. Why is he apologizing to a machine? Somewhat unsettling to Alex Summers, is the feeling that when he yelled for Fantomex the ship or as it appears their "hostess" sounded somewhat offended.
Even the blackbird doesn't have that level of call and response intelligence.
"Xavier" Havok thinks to himself trying to evoke the telepathic connection he held with the group. "What kind of ship is this!?"
Silence.
"Xavier?"
Not wanting to alarm the others Havok recalls what Jean and the Professor said about Fantomex's ability to block telepathy. He wonders if he somehow has equipped his ship with similar technology.
Finally the lights stop.
Havok and his group are led into a room of total darkness.
"Guys do you hear that? It sounds like"
"Water, splashing it sounds like splashing water because it is." Fantomex says.
All of the lights in the room come on.
The team is standing in what appears to be a jacuzzi room.
Sitting in the middle of the floor with steam rising completely around his body sits Fantomex reclining against a giant indentation in the floor.
"Fantomex?" Alex asks.
"Yes, don't mind me. I'll only be a minute. I was wounded in the battle back there so I'm taking a minute to heal in my restoration chamber. There bathing suits in the other room if you would like to take a dip. I'll only be a minute." Fantomex says lying back and closing his eyes. He lets out a sigh as Havok notices steam seap from his body.
Alarmed Havok asks "Take a dip, in where? You're sitting in a giant hole?"
"Take a dip in the water." Fantomex replies calmly.
Havok looks at the man again. Again he hears the sounds of splashing except there is no water.
"You're not lying in water." Alex says beginning to feel a little alarmed.
Havok looks back at Rogue. He is beginning to wonder about the mental stability of this guy. Maybe he isn't to blame for what happened? Maybe he really has no idea what is going on? Alex thinks about the stories he heard of shell shocked army veterans. Perhaps he gained his fighting skill-
Alex's thought process is interrupted by Fantomex.
"There IS water. You're just not looking closely enough. Bend your head over. Get closer to the edges and you'll see it." he says somewhat irratably.
Feeling unsure but doing what he says Alex takes a step forward toward Fantomex.
Suddenly he looks back at Rogue sharply. Bending over Alex's eyes open suddenly. "I....I see it."
Alex gets up and walks back to where he was standing with the group.
"Amazing. From here it looks like you're sitting in nothing but when I get closer-"
"It's the steam" Fantomex says casually. "And Eva wears a lot of jewelry. Sometimes it can reflect like a mirror and with the steam cause some light infractions. So its like what happens with all smoke and mirrors. What you see, isn't what you see. And what's really there, you might not see. But if you all would like to take dip there are bathing suits in the other room. I'll only be a minute more."
"Eva is your ship right?" Havok asks
Suddenly Fantomex's ship shakes.
"No, Eva is my partner. She is my mutation. She's not a ship, she just happens to look like one."
She shot a look over her shoulder, head tilted to the side. "So its a creepy, sentient ship that likes to play light tricks, what's to fear?"
Rogue turned slightly, enough to place her gloved left hand on Wizard's shoulder. "You're nervous. We all were on our first mission with the X-men. Part and partial to the whole deal. Don't overthink what you're doing. Now buck up and come on."
Brave little speech, she thought to herself. This place was a bit creepy and who knew what Fantomex wanted with them. However, it wouldn't do to let the young one get all worked up over such things. Too much fear made one slow, too little made one stupid.

"I'm good, thanks for the offer though," Rogue said. "No point if you're going to be only a moment longer. And a hot tub isn't exactly the greatest place to ask questions, you know."
OOC: Fantomex is still a relatively new character and much of his origin, powers and stuff is still undefined so I will be taking some liberties in explaining his origin but I think it makes sense.
I'm going to post some issue summaries that he appeared in so you can get an idea of what he ship looks like (And why he fascinates me)
Edited to add:
I'm so not making up the part about his ship having a jacuzzi by the way. In the comics he's still a mystery but here it will be explained
"You know there's some proverb about idiot men who refuse to get medical aide, right?" Rogue asked as she knelt beside the 'jacuzzi,' green eyes concerned. Trustworth or not, he was hurt.
"Eva, how do we help him, since I doubt he'll admit to being hurt? I don't want him dying on us."
"Professor, we have a problem." Cyclops says while looking at a data analysis on a warroom computer.
"Yes, I predicted that we would not be able to pierce Fantomex's mind but it appears his ship 'Eva' is guarded as well. I've lost communication with Havok and the others." the Professor responds trying to concentrate on any stray thoughts that may linger outside.
"Well that makes it a bigger problem sir. Look at this." Cyclops shows the Professor the data.
"Did you-"
"Check for a visual? Yep. See for yourself." he says as he turns a monitor toward the Professor.
Some spark within her mind screamed at Rogue, danger all around and the need to keep calm. She sighed and leveled a steady gaze at Fantomex. "Seriously, why did you want us to come aboard?"
"You're wondering Mr. Summers, why you don't feel anything when your hand leaves the water? It's like I told you. Steam. The steam is evaporated water. This room is heated at a particular temperature. The water on your fingers was gas before you even had a chance to rub them. It's how I heal." Fantomex announces.
Without even looking toward the group Fantomex feels the eyes of them upon him.
"Now you're wondering how I knew what you were thinking? Hehe, No, I'm not telepathic like your Professor and Sister-In-Law. No, I'm something else. Look above you."
Fantomex points at the ceiling. The entire roof of the room is adorned with mirrors.
"Eva's jewelry. I can see you." Fantomex says with his head still lying back as he relaxes in the jacuzzi. "It's my mutant gift. I can read body language. The way you looked at Rogue. The way that boy holds onto his backpack. The way 'Snake-Eyes' over there hangs back. He's not an X-Man is he? He wonders why you all even brought him along. Body language. Words without words. You only see actions, but they speak to me."
"Why wouldn't you want to meet Eva?" Fantomex says while still looking at the ceiling.
"Of all the X-Men you are one that Eva most admires. I hoped to introduce you. Eva, you are familiar with Alexander Summers and Ms......Rogue." Fantomex says after a pause.
"I believe introductions are in order for you as well. I don't recognize those two" Fantomex says pointing in the direction of the group but not moving his head.
OOC Shaq told me you guys were on a ship in the front lawn so...
Magma headed towards a sleek black ship in the front yard. He had good cover since the molten rock was so close it started to steem as he approached the ship Magma could hear something talking. "Bathing suits what the hell" as Magma approached the door it opened and he stepped in...
"People do come and go quickly here," Rogue said, shaking her head. "Might as well be polite while he's gone. Eva, this man behind me is Wizard, and that over there is Deadhand. Its a pleasure to meet you.
"Could you tell us where your friend has gone?"
