x men

"Listen to me punk and you will be fine" he said as he dragged the guy out of the water. He can wake certain points of his skin real hot and in this case to not burn his already charred jeans and sweatshirt only his hands. "Ok so what the hell is with this ship and why do I hear thoughts in my mind"....

Fantomex

"Why DO you hear thoughts in your head?" Fantomex asks the young man.

"Would you like to hear a riddle? Because you look like you're in the mood for a riddle. Why do so many things disappear at night? Give up?"

Fantomex smiles.

"Because when people are dumb enough to follow monsters into the darkness." Fantomex says shaking his head.

Standing up he looks around.

"You should realize where you are young man." Fantomex says as his ship begins to shake.

"Eva...please...." Fantomex says and looks toward the corner.

"She's getting some gloves." He explains.

"And when she brings them back I'm going to grab you and ask you who you are and who sent you. It couldn't have been him because if he sent you I would be dead already. Why are you here exactly?" Fantomex asks quizzically.

"And why are you to stupid to know when you're being set up?" he thinks to himself.

"We'll see what the X-Men can do in my 'Danger Room'" he thinks to himself with a smile.

Eva

Lights dim in the room and it goes completely black.

Suddenly a light leading into a wall shines down from the ceiling.

The mutants hear a swift "SWOOSH" as the wall dissapears and another light leads to a small control room.

Inside the room is a monitor showing a man grabbing Fantomex somewhere else on the ship.

"Who is this?" Eva asks the X-Men.

"NOW YOU LISTEN TO ME" Magma was mad now no one treated him like this "I'm GONNA ENGULF THIS WHOLE THING IN LAVA IF YOU TAKE A STEP CLOSER". Demonstrating his power he banged the bottom of the Jet and I big spurt of lava shot of the ground in a circle around the jet. Then she felt the girl hand tighten around his neck "let go of me you bitch" he shouted...

Fantomex

Staring at the mutant in front of him Fantomex wonders who sent him.

He expected someone would learn he arrived at Xavier's but he did not expect it this soon.

"Who are you?" he asks the mutant.

"My name on a need to know basis and YOU don't need to know" after he said the he found his face smashed against a hard steel wall. How about now the man asked "Magma" he aswered. "I'm looking for some mutants to start an uprising ok thats why I came here" this guy has no idea what I can do he thought. "Ok this has been fun but sadly I have to make this more comfortable for me" Magma heated up his hands and grabbed the woman behind her. The women scremed at the burning sensation she felt and magma leapon top of the man. "NOW PUNK TELL ME YOUR NAME OR I WILL BURN YOUR FACE OFF" magma lowered his palm toward the unfortunate man....

Rogue

"You know, I don't remember signing up for the creepy light tour, you Wizard?"

Rogue followed the lights cautiously, part of her mind wondering if Eva was susceptable to her powers...

Fantomex

Focusing on the body language of his captor Fantomex was able to discern he was serious.

"If you only knew, I don't have a face to burn." Fantomex says.

"He's also no threat." he think to himself.

"Anyone who actually could kill me would no better than to challenge me here of all places." Fantomex thinks to himself.

But it will be a good test for other concerns.

Fantomex closes his eyes. He manuvers Eva and looks out through her eyes.

"Xavier's" he thinks.

In a few moments the X-Men stationed at the mansion will be allowed onto Eva.

The lights that Eva is using to guide Rogue and the others will lead them straight to Fantomex.

Smiling to himself Fantomex is ecstatic about how wonderful his plan is turning out.

OOC: Vix that's a really good question! I thought about it for a good minute and in some ways it's similar to the question what would happen if Rogue were to touch one of Maggott's maggots (eeny and meeney)

I have my opinions but what do you all think?

Deadpool 4 hours ago

OOC: Oh god so sorry. Where did these hours come from. I have a part time job and I was scheduled for 12 hours this week. I'm on my 34th now. And I still have 3 more shifts this week. And a magic tourney. Next week should cool a little. But I will send Shaq a lot of posts in PM format so he can post should I be unavailable again. Fight on.

Deadpool fired in what seemed a wild pattern at the mysterious man he had been sent to kill. It wasn't surprising that Fantomex dodged nimbly, but it was that Deadpool missed so completely.

Bullets flew from the guns in both hands, while combatants ran between aisles. Stuffed animals, Bags of dog food, and 20 kilo drums of cleaning product flodded the areas as they ran by. Firing and trying to lead targets that wouldn't be easily caught. Eventually Deadpool jumped to the top of the racks and began to run firing down at the fleeing Fantomex.

Fantomex not willing to present an easy target ducked into an aisle to reload. Deadpool ran and flipped down trying to draw bead, But was shot repeatedly by a scurrying Fantomex. Deadpool landed in a heap and spun to his feet. Blade scything to cut open Fantom's gun.

"Ah the sweet kiss of hot lead. How I've missed you" Deadpool spoke in his best Apu impression.

Fantomex looked at his now useless weapon and used it to attempt to block the swiftly increasing sword cuts, That the red clad mercenary was leveling at him. Eventually there wasn't much gun left to block with and Fantomex was running out of room.

"And now what do you do brother, when Deadpool and his shiny monofilamented blade run wild on you?"

OOC: Ieeee magic?!?!
'Course I can't say much considering that I'm playing D&D on Saturday, LOL.

As for the Rogue vs Eva power drain- I think if she did try it it'd either be very good or very bad. May break out my d100 to see what percentile I get, fifty fifty on that one.

Wizard shook his head. He was getting more and more creeped out by this place, but kept his cool nonetheless. Something about the ship threw him out of balance, and his fingers were starting to spark again.

"No creepy light tour here either. I'm about ready to leave myself." He held the cross left him by his mother in his hand, fingering it nervously. He rarely got nervous, but he figured at the rate this ship were going, he'd probably end up scared out of his skin at some point. He moved closer to Rogue, partly to protect her, and partly to give himself something to concentrate on.

OOC: you guys went nuts on me overnight x.x

Rogue

Rogue put an extra sway in her hips, catching enough of Wizard's attention to take his mind off of being creeped out but not enough to totally distract him. Amazing what the right pair of boots can do for one's stride, she mused.

Ahead, she saw Fantomex with another mutant holding a hand near his face.
With a roll of her eyes, she called, "You do know he's already injured? And your host? Its rude to attack one's host, whoever you are."

Wizard grinned, seeing Rogue's response to his nervousness. Trust the southern belle to think of the right thing to do. As they approached the two men, he looked up, pulling out his book and opening it to a page. He read one or two lines of text, and then closed it, before coming to a stop beside Rogue. Part of him wanted to grab her hand, and another part of him wanted to take her and flee, but he knew that would only make her angry, considering they had a job to do.

Fantomex

"Aaah! Help me! He was sent to kill me! He was sent by the ones who want to stop me from helping you!"

Rogue

"Seeing as how I don't trust either of you," Rogue said, "we're going to assume you're both wrong. Wizard, zap lava boy there if you please? Fontamex, zap yourself back into your hottub of healing."

I waited for them to comply, part of me wishing they wouldn't. A good fight sounded right up my ally at the moment.

Wizard nodded, starting to chant, but doing it slowly, to give the strange two enough time to surrender. The lightning started crackling at his fingertips again, and he watched the two, waiting for their reactions. He knew Rogue wanted a fight, but hoped that things would go smoothly. On the other hand, he had a new spell he wanted to try out anyways.

Deadpool 4 hours ago

OOC: Deadpool would so kill to Rammstein.

Deadpool held the sword in his best overhand grip. Waiting for his opponent to make a move. It was then that the radio speakers burst into Bye, Bye, Bye by N'Sync.

Deadpool put the sword down for a moment. "No-one should have to listen to that as they die. Bodyslide by one"

He vanished easily and there was a strange scratching noise from the speakers. Heavy guitar began to fill the air, and Fantomex took stock to pull a knife and grab a new pistol. Moments later Deadpool appeared again this time in the rafters. As he fell he fired to make Fantomex move. The shots and Deadpool's words chimed in together.

*BANG BANG* "Firefight"

Dead Hand was starting to get bored. Walking and following lights had kept him entertained for all of 2 seconds. Now, however, there was a chance for action! Rogue had seemingly taken charge, and Havock had been... lost. Or so it seemed. He was probably tagging along behind. Lost, of course, was what he was hoping for because as soon as this whole event is over, Havock would probably want to beat the tar out of Dead Hand for all the snide comments he had been making.

"To hell with words! Action first!" Dead Hand drew out his wazikashi blade and advanced on Fantomex and the man holding him. "Hey! Squirt! Wanna see what I can do with *my* hands? Huh??"

Rogue

"So much for subtle," she said with a laugh to Wizard. "Cover me, sugah."

With the agility of a jungle cat, Rogue took off, meaning to get between Fontamex and lava-boy when Deadhand seperated the two of them. As she went, she replaced her glove, not wanting to run the risk of an accident. In his weakend state, a draining might kill Fontamex and she surely didn't want lava hands.

"Eva! Get Fontamex out of here," Rogue asked the ship, urgently but politely. Wouldn't do to piss the ship off when they were inside or anywhere near it.

Magma

"I'm not lava boy I'm MAGMA" Magma shouted back at them. "And as for you whoever you are" he pointed at Fantomex "I work a lone that is until the uprising begins". With that he ran away towards the back of the ship then started to make spurts of lava come out like geisers. Why not just kill them he thought. As Magma was performing another spurt a lightning bolt hit out of nowhere he fell down limp...

Rogue

"Magma, Lava, same smell," Rogue said, wrinkling her nose. "Rather brimstonish in your case."

Putting her arms in front of her, hands clasped together she said with a smile, "Have a nice nap."

Turning to Fontamex she asked, "Don't suppose you have a suspension chamber we could put him in?"

Gambit

::New Orleans...To some this is the city of jazz and festivities. To others it is the city of sin and decadence, where poeple gather in the streets to lavish themselves with beads of all sorts, gained by any nemerous sins of the flesh. To the mutant who is the only member of the Guild of Theives it is simply ripe for the pickings.

Darkness surrounds the street far away from burbon street where most of the festivities are. The crickets are singing uninterupted and the moon is bright in the sky above. A warehouse sits all alone on a bit of land, a twelve foot high chain-link fence broken only by a guardhouse and gate surrounding it's perimeter. Though the guards patrol the gates well it isnt surprising that a certain person could slip past them and get to the roof of the warehouse.::

Feels good to be back in de life.

::He thinks as he uses his thief's tools to open a glass window and then secures a rope to repel into the warehouse.::

I Need this like the gators need the swamp.

::Slowly the thief lowers himself inch by inch into the warehouse that has been turned into someones private museum. Statues from different regieons and eras of the world line a walkway through the middle of the museum. Easy places to duck behind should a guard happen to walk in.::

It feels good to be able to cut loose sometimes. Ever since I was a pup dere was only one t'ing that could help me forget my troubles. Stealing

::Once his feet hit the floor, the thief wrapped the rope around a statue of a roman gladiator's foot to keep it from floating around and possibly making noise. With the rope secured, the thief procurred a set of goggles from a pocket within his brown trench coat and slif them on his head. Within a moment all of the security lasers could easily be seen.::

It's not like these eccentric millionares make it too difficult. Their state of the art security systems are more than lacking in one or two areas. Maybe I leave them a note with some suggestions, no?

::The thief surveyed his surroundings to get his barrings, then lept, rolled and flipped his way around the different beams criss-crossing the museum.::

This is a vurtual museum of stolen art! It's all nice but....I came for one thing....

::A broad grin etched itself on the face of the wiley cajun as he stood before a display case webbed by security lasers.::

...de cross of redemption! They obviously know how much more valuable it is then the rest.

::He looked around the case at the different paths of the lasers trying to find their origin. His gloved fingers traced the sides of the case looking for the control box until he found it on the bottom of the case.::

Got a nice little laser grid protecting it, but every security system has some weakness. The T'ing is I always know where to look.

:: From his trench coat, the thief took his tools from the inner pocket, unzipped the little binder and took out a simple lock pick. He held the pick at eye level and twisted it between his fingers. At first his eyes merely started to glow but as the intensity grew, the energy errupted from his eyes and struck the pick charging it. The glow from his eyes faded, but the charge still remained on the lock pick.::

Use my mutant powers to kenetically charge it up and slip it into the lock. A little dis, a little dat, and redemption is mine.

::The laser grin pulsed once or twice then faded and the thief reached within the case and took the golden, jewel enbedded cross off of its stand. Gambit caressed the cross with his finger as he took it all in.::

Like it would ever be dat easy for me. I gave up on redemption for my past right about the time I stopped going to confession.

::He tucked the cross into his trench coat along with the binder of his thief's tools, then fled the warehouse with the same stealth that he entered in. Soon he was well away from the street and blending into the festivities of burbon street. Soon, however, depression set in again and he left the party. The home he purchased long ago, with money from his past heists, was his destination, but this trip had one extra stop. His old church....::

Wizard nodded, letting off a thunderbolt that sent Magma flying after Rogue hit him. He grinned at the southern belle, his accuracy being perfect, and when she asked about a suspension chamber, his face lit up in an evil grin.

"THAT's what that spell is for." He quickly ran through his book again, and then spoke the words from the spell that had frozen the cue ball solid, realizing he had written one of them down wrong. He quickly rewrote the spell, putting it in the right place, and then spoke the incantation again, and suddenly, Magma was inside a block of ice.

"I must have miswrote the spell the first time. Well, now that that's taken care of, where did our glorious leader get to?" He stepped up next to Rogue, and, when Deadhand and Fantomex weren't looking, he wrapped his arms around her in a gentle hug.

"Thanks for helping me out earlier."

Magma

Brrrrrr thought magma inside a block of ice. To bad these suckers except the sleeze bag know about my heating ability. Magma started with his hands as the ice started to melt. The mutants had gone back to the other guy so he was alone. It took a whill but his hands got free that left them to melt the rest of the ice. Brakeing free "I'm going to light this whole place up if it's the last thing I do" at that he concetrated on the magma right below the main deck. With all his concetration he blew a rocket of lava right through the ship and charged towards the water room. ROunding the corner and seeing the guy with the book. Sneaking he grabbed it from him "ALL RIGHT TRY AND TAKE THIS BOOK AWAY FROM ME AND IT"S AS GOOD AS A BUNCH AS ASH" that will get his attention. "Now tell me what the fuck is going on here"...
