Rogue

After I finished in my room, I made my way downstairs, pausing at the group of students gathered there.

With a smile, I said, "Hello, don't think I've met all of you yet. I'm Rogue."

I let the fact I was in a battle suit (normal attire for me sadly) and the lovely "X" logo speak for itself.

Bryn

After about half an hour of meditation or something closely resembling it, I stood, shaking the grass from my cloths and wings with a deep cleansing breath.

Refreshed, I walked back inside, wings slicked tight to my back but still out. If they go in and out too much during the day it affects thier blood flow, which can be bad if I need to fly quickly.

I padded silently to the kitchens, wondering what there was to eat food wise.

Tai turned to look at the very beautiful woman speaking to him and the students. He studied her, his scanners instantly picking up her condensed muscles and a sort of vacuum permeating her skin. He decided to ask her about her powers.

"Miss, I assume your natural powers are some sort of energy vacuum?" He didn't realize it, but his arm had accidentally turned into a blade as he stood there. The power of Xeno enabled him to turn his arms into weapons such as a beam cannon, drill, hammer, and even a multiblade Dragon. In addition, he had absorbed the secondary weapon systems associated with the android, including a pair of high speed triplegatling guns. He looked down for a second, then immediately tried to cover his arm, seeing the blade form.

I raised an eyebrow at his arm. "No need for that. My power's absorbtion- I absorb powers, abilities, memories and such from those I tough skin to skin."

I held up a gloved hand with a rueful smile. "Hence the full body suit- I can do severe damage, even death, to a person if I touch them for too long."

With a thought, I hovered a few inches off the ground. "If contact is held too long, I perminantly retain the absorbed abilities, but that's very rare. I avoid contact unless its an emergency."

Tai nodded, listening to her explanation, and watching her float above the ground. Flight hadn't been picked up by his scanners, but then, it was rare they would pick up such a power. He looked at his arm, and concentrated, and it went from being a blade to being a cannon, before being an arm again.

"You have no idea how much that unnerves most people. It's part nanotech, part organic technology, from what I understand. Of course, the secondary heavy weapons are really impressive. Gatlings, missile launchers, a railgun...." His voice trailed off. He wasn't used to explaining what had happened to him.

I smiled at him and shrugged. "You see as many mutants and as many alterations on the human form as I have, things stop surprising you. While different then most of what we have here, I've seen mutants that can completely change thier form."

A whisp of a fareaway smile crossed my lips as I thought of my adopted mother, Mystique. Yeah, she's evil and messed up on things sometimes, but she really does care about me, I mused.

"Anyway, I'm going downstairs. Time to program up a danger room simulation or two."

With a wave, I walked off to one of the elevaters in the house and made my way downstairs to the Danger Room. Figured I'd get started on the simulation we were going to run while waiting for Gambit.

Storm

"I hope things calm down or you are either going to become my secretary or you are going to have another guest out at the cabin."

As they walked into the war room Gambit said,

So what is on your mind, Stormy?

She schooled her thoughts and tried to think of how to start this. His actions had directly caused the destruction of the Morlocks but just this morning she had been defending him to Havok and said that he had paid for what he had done. But not wanting to deal with that right away she said,

"I'm curious about where you got the cure for Wizard and I."

Madrox

No one enters a kitchen unless they want something. So when the winged girl slipped in, Jamie was quick to make the offer.

"If you're looking for something to snack on, we've got plenty of Arabic over in the dining hall." One of several Jamies threw his chin in the direction of the proper door. After Amanda had told him what she knew about things(unfortunately not very enlightening), the Core had slipped into the kitchen to make some smoothies. By the time the girl came into the kitchen, he was hard at work slicing, juicing, and blending. "Care for a smoothie while I'm at it?"

Finishing his creations, a solitary Jamie wandered out to rejoin his young and lovely company. The others stayed in the kitchen to clean up.

"Here we are, ladies. Smoothies a la Madrox... the all-purpose elixir guaranteed to fortify, energize, and put some hair on your chest." He chuckled at himself as he toasted the younger women with a slight raise of his glass.

Kitty leaned in to hear what James had to say then smiled at him. She turned and faced Chihiro.

"Ok, I could use your help. Will you follow me? It's very important. If you help me, I'll make sure that Storm hears about how helpful you've been to the X men. Then they wouldn't worry about you or your friend anymore." She gave the most charming smile she could muster. "So, what do you say."

Chihiro smiled, and bowed. She figured helping them would help herself and Tai. Besides, it would be good to use her skill in computers. And she had a hunch what they wanted to find out. Come to think of it, she thought, she had the files on Tai, herself, Xeno, and also the original Zero android. She could probably just give them to the girl. After all, she was already considered a traitor to her company, why not add passing around classified information.

She took the girls bow as a yes, "Follow me."

Kitty lead the way into the house giving James a wave as she left. "Now, what I need is very important to the X men, so I hope that I can depend on your discretion."

She lead the girl to the elevator leading to the sub levels of the house.

Chihiro nodded, pulling out a device her company had created called a Connection Gear. The device was a mini wireless terminal, using state of the art electronics and a holographic interface. As she walked with Kitty, she was already pulling up the files she figured they'd need. She'd also be able to get just about anything else the young woman wanted.

"I've got personnel and tech files on myself, Tai, and the two android weapon systems, Xeno, the one Tai's bonded with, and Zero, the original prototype. Is there anything else you need?"

Kitty turned and looked at Chihiro. "No, I really don't care about that stuff right now."

She stepped into the elevator and pressed down. "What I need is some information Professor X left in Cerebro, but we can't get it, with him being detained and all. So that's where you come in."

Chihiro raised an eyebrow, then nodded. That would be easy, she figured. She was impressed at the technology in the facility. It almost rivalled that of her old lab. She studied her surroundings as Kitty led her down into the chamber that contained the supercomputer. When she saw the computer, she almost jumped for joy, clapping. She looked around, trying to find an interface.

"Now this is very important. Xavier was keeping a list of where all of Jamie Maddrox's duplicates are. I need you to get it for me."

Chihiro raised an eyebrow, then nodded. She found an interface, and started tapping at a keyboard. She smiled, then activated a holographic map on her Gear, downloading the information for display. She held it up, and the map showed multiple clusters of dots.

"He really gets around doesn't he?"

Kitty laughed, "Yes he does." She watched the girl downloading, "I can't beleive how easy this was." She laughed again.

Chihiro shrugged. "My Gear allows me to scan at a much faster rate. The real problem was clearing enough space to be able to display the map. This technology is incredible. Where's the actual core for the supercomputer?"

"I don't know, how much longer is this going to take?"

The map lit up, and then disappeared. "That's it. Where do you want me to dump the data? Do you even have a computer capable of holding it?"

"Oh crap, why didn't I think of that." Kitty made a frustrated sigh. "I'm sure there is something in my room. I think I saw a laptop up there or something. Come on, you'll have to follow me."

Chihiro nodded, putting the device back into her pocket. She followed Kitty closely, glad she could help. If she had the parts, of course, she could build a portable supercomputer, but the parts would be expensive and not likely lying around. "By the way, is Tai still asleep?"

"By the way, is Tai still asleep?"

"What?" They reached the elevator and stepped in.

Chihiro smiled. "The guy I came in with. The android he was bonded with requires him to sleep to recharge its, for lack of a better word, batteries. If he's awake again, I'd like to know."

"How would I know, you know hon, drugs aren't allowed on the property, but I'll let it slide this time." Kitty gave her a smile and a pat on the head.
