Part-time Missouri police officer threatens teen daughter with a gun because she didn’t do chores

What is it about teenagers that makes mothers lose it?

A part-time Missouri police officer is under investigation for allegedly pointing a handgun at her daughter over unfinished chores, local WGEM reports.

Michele Miller, 42, was charged with misdemeanor domestic assault and has been released after posting bond, the station reports. Miller is a part-time officer with the Kahoka Police Department.

WGEM reports Miller came home from a trip on Sunday and became angry at her daughter for not doing her chores. The girl told police her mother threatened her with a handgun and told her, “it would only take one bullet and she wouldn’t have to be here.”

Miller has been placed on unpaid leave pending the investigation. She’s been on the force for about one year.

According to this, it was the swimming pool that was threatened, not the daughter.

Bounty hunter arrested after mistakenly raiding Phoenix police chief’s home

Not a cop, but not smart either.

A bounty hunter was arrested after gathering a posse and mistakenly trying to raid the home of Phoenix’s chief of police, officials said on Wednesday.

Brent Farley, 43, and 10 others surrounded Chief Joseph Yahner’s home around 10 p.m. local time on Tuesday, thinking they were cornering an Oklahoma fugitive wanted on a drug charge, the department said in a statement.

Police said the bounty hunters were told they had the wrong address and were asked to leave numerous times.

The department said Farley, who confronted the chief after banging on the door and demanding he come outside, was carrying a handgun at the time, as were several others.

A video of the incident provided by police showed Chief Yahner, clad only in his underwear, stepping outside his home with a baton in his hand and approaching the bounty hunters. Phoenix police spokesman Trent Crump said there was no physical altercation.

His mug shot didn't look SMRT either.

Read your link. The gun was pointed at "a family member".

That's true, but the mother verbally threatened to shoot holes in the swimming pool. Nothing was said in the news item about threatening to shoot the girl, although the gun was, apparently being waved around.

Lesson learned. Pointing a loaded gun directly at somebody is not a threat. Thanks, Teacher!

Zachary Hammond autopsy challenges police account of fatal shooting

An independent autopsy acquired by the Guardian concludes that 19-year-old Zachary Hammond, who was shot and killed by a police officer in Seneca, South Carolina , was shot from the side – challenging the officer’s account of the killing.

Attorney Eric Bland, who represents the Hammond family, said the independent autopsy raises questions about the police account, which said that Hammond was driving his vehicle at the officer who fired on him.

“When he [the officer] shot, it was physically impossible for the car to hit him because he’s next to him [Hammond],” Bland told the Guardian. “So unless a hurricane comes and blows the car over, it’s physically impossible for him to be hit by a car at that point.”

Misleading or Lie?

The initial autopsy performed by Oconee County coroner Karl Addis said Hammond had been struck twice, in the shoulder and the chest, a finding in line with what Seneca police authorities have said. Bland called that characterization by police – which did not specify the back of the shoulder and the side of the chest – “incredibly misleading”.

“It gives the impression that he shot him from the front, which is consistent with the officer’s account that the car was coming at him,” Bland said.

Disturbing video shows NC cop shooting unarmed black man Jonathan Farrell after car crash

The trial of a Charlotte, North Carolina police officer for the shooting death of an unarmed black man in 2013 has produced disturbing video of the last moments of the victim’s life.

The Daily Mail reported that Jonathan Farrell was shot 10 times by Officer Randall Kerrick on the night he died. Now, Kerrick stands accused of violating police procedure and could face up to 11 years in prison if convicted.

On the night in question, Farrell had dropped off a friend in an upscale neighborhood and was returning home in his fiancee’s car at around 2:30 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed. He lost his cell phone in the impact and had to kick out a window to free himself from the car. He left the wrecked vehicle and was looking for help when he was gunned down.

Why do we need the British press to tell us these things?

Police claim that Farrell charged them and shouted “Shoot me!” at the officers. Prosecutors say that Kerrick failed to properly identify himself, but instead trained his weapon’s laser sight on Farrell’s chest.

Kerrick fired four shots at Farrell, who then collapsed on to the officer. As he writhed and struggled on the ground, Kerrick fired eight more shots, killing the former college football player.

Defense attorney Michael Greene claims Farrell was going for the officer’s gun. He said in court that Farrell was drunk and high on pot and acting irrationally because of an argument he’d had with his fiancee earlier in the day.

“This case is not about race. It never was about race. This case was about choices — Jonathan Ferrell’s bad choices,” Greene said in court.

However, toxicology reports do not support the defense team’s claims. Farrell’s blood alcohol level was within the legal limit and his system did not show any traces of marijuana.

A case of overkill, perhaps?

California police arrested for physically abusing teens at at-risk youth boot camp

Four Los Angeles-area police officers have been arrested on charges of physically abusing minors who were attending a boot camp for at-risk youth in central California, a sheriff’s office said on Wednesday.

The San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Office said the four officers were arrested following a two-month investigation into allegations of abuse on 13 youths between the ages of 12 and 17.

All of the juveniles came from the Los Angeles-area, about 200 miles (322 km) to the south, and were participating in a week-long program from May 17-24 at Camp San Luis Obispo, a California Army National Guard military base, the sheriff’s office said in a release.

The sheriff did not give any details into the kinds of physical abuse the children were said to endure, but the Los Angeles Times, citing an attorney for the children, said it included the youths being slapped and punched, and having their hands and backs stepped on while they were doing push ups.

Well, at least they didn't shoot them!

Texas police kill unarmed 19-year-old black college student Christian Taylor

An unarmed college football player was shot and killed by a police officer in suburban Dallas, Texas Friday, after he crashed his car through the front window of a car dealership. The teenager, who is black, was identified as 19-year-old Christian Taylor of Arlington, who was enrolled as a sophomore at Angelo State University in San Angelo.

Arlington Police Sgt. Paul Rodriguez said that a criminal and administrative investigation into the shooting will be conducted by authorities, according to the Dallas Morning News. Police said that a criminal investigation will focus on “the use of deadly force,” while an administrative investigation will probe if Miller’s actions were in line with departmental policies.

10 Outrageous Excuses Cops Have Used to Kill Unarmed People Over the Past Year

Informed readers are well aware that US police have the dubious reputation of killing lots of civilians, compared to other countries. The War on Drugs provides much of the basis for this abomination.

In four days US police killed as many people as Chinese police did in 2014, and more than five European countries’ police did in 2014. In the first 24 days of 2015, US police killed more people than England & Wales did in the last 24 years.

The worst part about this is how many of these victims were unarmed. As of June 1, 2015, 102 people killed by police were unarmed. We can add more to this number, including the killing of Zachary Hammond who was shot through a car window over a bag of marijuana.

While there are good honest cops, we can not let our respect for them make us overlook the bad asshole cops.

Nice Texas Cops Just Wanted To Reach Into Black Lady’s Vagina In Public, That’s All

Here’s another one for the annals of cops maybe-just-maybe behaving poorly in the line of duty, not that they ever do that. Charnesia Corley was on the way to get medicine for her mom, when she got pulled over for running a stop sign by police in Harris County, Texas. One of the cops claimed to smell weed in the car, so he went ahead and cuffed her and put her in the back of the squad car so they could do a vehicle search. And did they find any weed? Nope! So here’s a ticket for running that stop sign, now you get back home to your sick mama, right? NOPE AGAIN! Because then the cop said he smelled weed inside HIS car, where Corley had been sitting, which means there’s probably a bunch of weed in Corley’s vagina, so BEND OVER LADY, let’s do this RIGHT HERE:

But of course, one wonders, having committed such a vagrant crime as running a stop sign, was the officers’ time worth it? What treasure chest of contraband material did they discover, to reassure them they did some really good cop work that day?

She is charged with two misdemeanors: resisting arrest and possession of marijuana. Investigators say they found .02 ounces of marijuana on her.

If that cop could smell ~7 grams of pot stuffed up her twat, he doesn't need a dog!

Because the probe took place in a public parking lot and because Corley says that she did not give her consent, Corley's lawyer says that the search was "unconstitutional" and she is filing a complaint with the Harris County Sheriff's Office. Corley told KTRK, "I feel like they sexually assaulted me! I really do. I feel disgusted, downgraded, humiliated."

A spokesperson for the Harris County Sheriff's Office, Thomas Gilliland, says that both officers did everything as they should have.

Widow claims Louisiana cops shot her suicidal husband ‘execution style’ after turning off bodycams

A grieving woman has filed suit in Lafayette, Louisiana against the town of Crowley’s mayor, the chief of police and two officers who shot and killed her husband in 2014.

According to KATC.com, Amy LeBlanc says that two Crowley police officers shot her mentally ill husband “execution style” after turning off their body cameras.

The officers claim that Melvin LeBlanc shot at them, prompting them to open fire, but an investigation found that the LeBlanc’s gun was not loaded, let alone fired on the day of his death.

Crowley Police Chief K. P. Gibson said in a prepared statement that an internal investigation by state police had cleared the officers of any wrongdoing. He went on to say that he believes the lawsuit is a political hit against him, timed to coincide with Crowley’s upcoming sheriff’s election.

Officers reportedly kicked in the house’s door and threatened to send in a police dog after LeBlanc. LeBlanc called out to officers that he was exiting the building.

What happened next is up for dispute. Melancon and Schexnider say that they heard a shot from LeBlanc’s gun and opened fire.

LeBlanc was struck twice by non-fatal bullets and collapsed to the ground. It was then that Officer Melancon fired a third shot point-blank into the base of LeBlanc’s skull, killing him. The lawsuit states that a total of 14 shots were fired, none of them by LeBlanc.

"Making sure," is that police training?

Video shows Ralkina Jones’ chilling words before dying in police custody: ‘I don’t want to die in your cell’

black Cleveland woman who died in police custody pleaded with jail officials to properly administer her prescription medications in the hours before her death.

“I don’t want to die in your cell,” she told officers in video released Tuesday.

The New York Daily News said that 37-year-old Ralkina Jones made her medical needs very clear to her captors, but they disregarded her needs — which appears to have resulted in her death.

Hours after the video was taken, Jones was assessed by a medical professional because she seemed lethargic. She was discharged and returned to her cell at 10:40 p.m. on July 25. On the morning of July 26, guards found her dead in her bunk.

Must be suicide?

Texas murder probe: Ex-cop offered $5,000 to murder woman because it was cheaper than child support

Investigators revealed this week that a fired Austin police officer was accused of trying to hire someone to murder a pregnant former lover for $5,000 because she wanted him to pay child support.

Last month, 32-year-old then-officer VonTrey Clark told a Texas Ranger that he had an affair with homicide victim Samantha Dean. Clark said that the relationship was “off-and-on over the last six or seven years, and that he believes he is the father of Dean’s unborn child, Baby Dean,” according to court documents.

The department fired Clark after he disobeyed orders by fleeing to Indonesia, which does not have an extradition treaty with the U.S.

Being white doesn't make you safe!

Witness saw cops stand over Zachary Hammond’s dead body and ‘high five’ his limp hand: attorney

The 19-year-old Taylor was killed in a Hardee’s parking lot in late July after being shot twice by Lt. Mark Tiller who claimed the teen drove his car directly at him while he was attempting to make a drug bust.

“The driver accelerated and came toward the officer. He fired two shots in self-defense, which unfortunately were fatal for the suspect,” explained Chief John Covington.

A private pathologists’ report found that Hammond was shot twice, once in the left shoulder from behind and once in the left side of his chest.

According to the letter sent by Taylor family attorney Eric Bland, a witness states “… the officer who opened Zachary’s door and pulled his dead body from the vehicle then went ‘to the trunk of his police car and pulled (SIC) something out. The officer walked back over to the man on the ground rolled him over to his side, put something underneath his body, and then rolled him back.’”

The letter goes on to state, “…a police officer with a neighboring police force has confirmed to SLED that the Seneca Police Department celebrated the killing of Zachary by desecrating his corpse. After Zachary had been shot and killed, member(s) of the Seneca Police Department lifted his dead hand and ‘high fived’ Zachary Hammond.”

New Jersey Cops too!

New Jersey cops shoot Radazz Hearn — an unarmed black 14-year-old — seven times as he pulls up pants

Hearns was shot seven times in the back of his legs and buttocks as he ran from police officers on Friday who confronted him on a Trenton street while responding to a report of shots fired.

U.S. Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman and Trenton Mayor Eric Jackson told those at Shiloh Baptist Church on Thursday that they were frustrated by lack of information made public by acting Attorney General John Hoffman's office.

Watson Coleman and Jackson both said they respected the ongoing investigation, but they need to be able to respond to the most basic of questions from their communities.

Well it was only his legs (7x)... and one pelvis shot. Don't he know that running from a Cop is a capital offense?

A black 18-year-old killed by police in St Louis earlier this week was shot in the back, authorities said on Friday, adding weight to protests that have challenged the official account of his death.

A preliminary autopsy by the city medical examiner determined that Mansur Ball-Bey “sustained a single fatal gunshot wound to his back”, according to a statement released by the St Louis metropolitan police department.

Police Investigation Concludes That Cop Who Punched a 9-Months Pregnant Woman in Belly 'Violated No Policies'

Greenville, TX – In yet another case of police investigating themselves only to determine that they did nothing wrong, a Hunt County Sheriff’s deputy was no-billedafter being captured on videopunching a pregnant woman numerous times and pushing her stomach first into a kitchen counter, leaving bruises.

During the execution of a child custody warrant, a 38-week pregnant woman, Deanna Robinson, was arrested. Hunt County Sheriff’s Department went to Robinson’s residence to assist CPS in taking custody of a child after a familial dispute.

Watch the video, you decide if the Deputy was in fear of his gun being stolen.

Cop Threatens to 'Drag' Teens Out of Car for Smiling and Not Taking Him Seriously Enough

Plano, TX — Police officer Jeff Willis is facing disciplinary action after a video surfaced of him violently threatening teenagers because they were smiling at him and not taking him seriously enough. Luckily, one of the passengers in the car was able to get some video footage of the encounter to expose how completely ridiculous officer Willis was acting.

When one of the young men asked the officer “What did I do?” Willis responded by saying “I don’t know. I just don’t like you, I just don’t like you.”

The driver, unable to contain himself, began laughing and said to Willis “Have a great day, officer.”

That is when Willis became more aggressive, and made physical threats against the teens, saying “Keep going. Say something else and I’ll drag you out of the car.”

Texas Cops have no sense of humour.
