This was my toughest choice in a long time. I could think of four songs abt the fall that I love and mean a lot to me.

But fuck it. This album is all killa, no filla. It represents a time in my life that was super memorable (first deployment to Iraq) and I listened to this on my discman w a lot of regularity. Such a great fuckin record (CD, whatever… showin my age).

I don’t know that I have a favourite band, but The Kills are definitely in my top 5. I own all their studio albums, which now span three decades. This track off the 2008 album Midnight Boom - which I still consider their finest - inspired one of my story series (shameless plug).
