Day 1: A song that mentions candy or sugar

So I'll admit that it took a long time for me to listen to this song. Even after I learned that it's not about watermelon or sugar, that still wasn't enough πŸ˜‚ I'm a bit of a contrarian and didn't want to give a chance to a song from one of the members of 1D. Once I actually listened, I realized that I can now understand why the girlies love Harry Styles πŸ˜…

Day 1- A song that mentions candy or sugar
My dad listened to country stations anytime we were in the car. At the time I hated that music. It's kind of grown on me over the years.

i think we had the same dad!

I used to be forced to listen to my dad’s old country stations (and records) when I was a kid. HATED it. Oldies stations too. But now I really like the old stuff and really appreciate it. There’s a sincerity, an honesty and soulfulness about it.

I've never had either... What are they allegories for? Commonness, comfort, blandness, familiarity?

I am confusion πŸ˜”
Warm apple cider is the New England beverage equivalent of gemΓΌtlichkeit. It's cozy, comfortable, warm, and friendly. It's what you drink after coming in from chopping wood for the fireplace, or making snowmen in the yard with the family. It melts the snow off your boots and radiates warmth through your whole body. It's the closest thing humans have come up with to a magical healing potion.

Day 2: A song equivalent of warm apple cider

Noah Kahan - Stick Season
.... one of the most autumn-esque songs I can think of πŸ‚

I’m sorry! Ok so exactly what @Whiskeyjack said about the cider (adding that it’s an unfiltered apple juice that is often mulled with spices or zest to jazz it up. Best served warm. And also excellent with cinnamon whiskey)

And a PSL is a sweet autumnal beverage that can represent autumn in general but also has the connontation of being β€œbasic”… girly pop like Taylor swift would be what comes to mind for me but not exclusively

Funny. TS was the first thing to come to mind when I read PSL.
