Day 2: A song equivalent of a pumpkin spice latte or warm apple cider

I agree with whiskeynack, here in Jersey, the fall means nice warm drinks. Maybe a touch of applejack in there???

Itโ€™s been unseasonably, warm and dry here in Jersey, so looking forward to a little bit crisper weather.

The Choir or a band from Cleveland and like many early Midwest bands, were hugely influenced by the Beatles and the British Invasion. Think one hit wonders. Think about regional radio and local โ€œhits.โ€ Think of the movie โ€œthat thing you do.โ€

This one broke the band out of regional obscurity and hit number 49 on the national charts. The choir were first known as the Modernaires, then the Mods before changing their name to The Choir.

The core of this band would go on to work with Eric Carmen and later became The Raspberries in the 70s, with many hits of their own. This is a classic example of garage rock, IMO.

Iโ€™m sorry! Ok so exactly what @Whiskeyjack said about the cider (adding that itโ€™s an unfiltered apple juice that is often mulled with spices or zest to jazz it up. Best served warm. And also excellent with cinnamon whiskey)
Ok, I like mulled wine... it is spicy...
And a PSL is a sweet autumnal beverage that can represent autumn in general but also has the connontation of being โ€œbasicโ€โ€ฆ girly pop like Taylor swift would be what comes to mind for me but not exclusively
Well, damn... I like Taylor Swift but not PSL. ๐Ÿค”

Back to the drawing board...

I'm currently in your state at the very bottom and yesterday was gorgeous --- maybe summer's last gasp. Tonight I'll be cursing the drought and the ban on bonfires.

Day 2: A song equivalent of a pumpkin spice latte

Old school rock, conveniently called dad-rock, is my comfort music. Doesn't matter if it's KISS or Maiden or Scorpions, their greatest hits are like a warm hug for my soul.

I catch myself singing this song whenever my mind is blank. Been listening to it for most of my life, it's their biggest hit but I've never grown tired of it. I'll play it again, and again, and again, and I'll sing it when not even I myself am listening.

Were up in central Jersey.

We actually sell firewood on our farm, but so far this fall has been very lean since the burn ban has been in effect.

Enjoy your time in our glorious state.
