Day 3: A song in a foreign language

Alejandro Escovedo's critically album, The Crossing, with the vocals recorded in Spanish. With the lyrics translated into and sung in Spanish, the concept album which tells the story of two young immigrants to the US, who bond over a mutual love of punk rock as they struggle with the racism and discrimination as immigrants, becomes an even more intimate experience. It features guest vocalists, as well as Alejandro singing all of the songs from The Crossing in Spanish.

I don’t listen to a lot of stuff that’s not in English. Lyrics are important to me and I’m utterly mortified by the possibility of some friend telling me I’m grooving to β€œall x are the most inferior race” or some shit. But anyway, every time I listen to this song I think β€œsure this song is pretentious but can you kick it up just a notch Andrew?” And BAM he does it. It’s beautiful.

None. None more goth.

You've introduced a new paranoia to me! Thanks 😜 Now I'm going to have to use Google translate whether I want to be bothered or not πŸ˜‚

I made the mistake of looking up the lyrics to the song I submitted. Disappointed, but still a good beat
