Looks like you're right near the Mason Dixon line.
I thought it was further south....Looks like you're right near the Mason Dixon line.
It separates PA from MD, DE, VA but doesn't go west of pennsy.Looks like you're right near the Mason Dixon line.

My dad used to yell at the Phillies losing to the Mets...Listening to my wife yell and curse watching the Mets reminds me of my dad yelling and cursing watching Notre Dame football. At least she's not throwing things.
I want a case...of somethingDoes anyone want a drink?
My dad would get so crazy that whenever Notre Dame was n she would take us out of the house. Reason 1 of 3,965,429 I dislike football. My dad used to yell at the Phillies losing to the Mets...
He was yelling at the TV.
And people say I'm crazy
A Manhattan, please...Does anyone want a drink?
I don't know about the stain, but vinegar helps to literally neutralise the smell (and the smell of vinegar just evaporates away). My 17 year old cat has had litter box issues lately so we are well aware of it. She's stained the hardwood so we're looking for a good cleaner.
Ohio is NOT south. It's Midwest and north of the Mason Dixon line.
Ohio is NOT south. It's Midwest and north of the Mason Dixon line.
It is south of Canada.
So if Ohio is "south", so is the PNW
I would guess there may be some of that in the bleed over southern Ohio line, but not generally across the state.
I would add…
Do they eat grits in Ohio?
How often do they say “bless your heart?”
When they are going to leave, do they say they are “fixin’ to…” ?
I have never been there, but I have spent time in Alabama and I remembered those being things I never saw or heard in my PNW roots.I would guess there may be some of that in the bleed over southern Ohio line, but not generally across the state.
BTW I lived in Ohio for 5 years.
Oh ya. Grits, bless your heart and lots of "fixin to" in Alabama, Georgia, the Carolinas etc.I have never been there, but I have spent time in Alabama and I remembered those being things I never saw or heard in my PNW roots.
I've never understood how Ohio gets lumped in to the Midwest. I'm from literally the heart where Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska meet. THATS Midwest. I'm sure there's a perfectly logical reason why I'm wrong as usual but it is bizarre. Kentucky is a weird state too in that some identity as Midwest, so make up this odd Ohio valley or kentuckiana monikers which actually makes some sort of sense....but then you get those that identify distinctly as southern lolol only the south doesn't claim them.Ohio is NOT south. It's Midwest and north of the Mason Dixon line.
It is south of Canada.
So if Ohio is "south", so is the PNW
What do I know? I'm a transplant from Pennsylvania...Ohio is NOT south. It's Midwest and north of the Mason Dixon line.
It is south of Canada.
So if Ohio is "south", so is the PNW
