There's no need to notify me when you change the points. I usually check all cards when I do an update.

Also ... this morning I logged in to add to my scorecard, but after clicking the edit button an "invalid link" reply popped up. I've notified admin. Just curious if anyone else had this same issue today, or recently.

I just had the same problem. I notified the Admin too, but I'll probably just wait a while before trying again. No big rush.

It was fixed for a short spell yesterday morning, but down again. Yeah, no big deal, it'll all work fine in the end.

The scoreboard gets updated as I have time. I've been working a lot lately, so I haven't had a lot of extra time. Kids will be out of school in a couple of weeks and I will have more time to update stuff.

ScoreBoard is updated. I've been working on it in my spare time the last couple of days and finally managed to finish it.

Just a note on the scores... I go by what the participant has written at the bottom as their score. I don't double check math and such on all cards, though I do spot check here and there. If someone has stories on their card but no points at the bottom, I don't add it. Score card upkeep is *your* responsibility. The only time I am going to go through and check addition or add up scores outside of random spot checks is at the end when I am doing the official tally.

Also a reminder, if anyone has any questions about anything or any complaints about what you feel may be unfair participation by another contestant, please PM me. Thanks!

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I have to ask: How does the scoreboard work? I'm just wondering because I now have twelve points in the contest but I'm still listed as having zero points on the scoreboard. Am I doing something wrong or am I just misunderstanding things? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You are probably okay. When you want to upgrade your personal scoreboard, go to the general scoreboard and click on your name. Then go to "edit" and make the changes necessary, followed by "save." The general scoreboard where everybody is listed seldom gets updated. Right now, it's about two months behind. It will be updated more regularly in December.

Just a couple of reminders:

You should be putting SURVIVOR CONTEST in the notes field for any stories you are submitting now for the contest to ensure they are posted by Jan. 1. Also, entrants have until midnight Eastern Time Zone (UTC-5:00), on 1/4/2011 to make any changes to their ScoreCards. Once that deadline passes, whatever is on your scorecard is what counts for the standings.
