How does this work? I think when I looked at this thread earlier I misunderstood. I have a chapter, and it could sure use some help. Of course, I've been a little leery, one person's idea of a good vote is another person's bad.

Basically, its a barter system. We read each others submitted stories, vote and comment. But, you are at the mercy of the votes. "Falling to Fly" RCV'ed me earlier and I must admit, he was firm but fair.
If you want a certain story looked at, just post a request.

Okay. I read It's Only a Game, and voted. I truly did enjoy it. You have a great writing style.

The problem with asking someone to read my stuff is that except for my one-off, it's not very stand-alone and I hate to ask someone to read in the middle and, of course, no way would I expect anyone to read the whole thing!

I have extremely low vote counts on:

Ready, Ch. 3
and
Ready, Ch. 5/6

Chapter 4 is low, too.

Chapter 8 is the latest, and fairly recently posted.

My score on The Fuckin' Chair sucks wind, big time. The vote total is pretty high, it would take some serious, big-time voting to get the score out of the basement, so that's not going to happen. It would be nice though, if folks were so inclined, and didn't mind first/second person stuff, to consider reading it.

Kromen, I wonder if your It's Only a Game might have done better on the IR board? They tend to like some spice of ethnicity. Just a thought, 'cause it was a nice story.

I wondered myself if would have fared better in IR, but I declined because most people want stereotypical laden plot in that genre nowadays. If you don't mind, I'm in the mood for a long read so I'll start at the beginning of Ready.

I RVC'd The Predator. Of all my stories I'd prefer eyes on Stolen Magic but if you're not up to reading 6 parts and are okay with reading Taboo then check out Awakened to the Forbidden.

Thank you very much. I had to laugh at your comment. Most men who read (suffer through?! ) chapter one say that! Hey! Not all guys can be Cary Grant. I discovered that it's a fine line on making a not-so-perfect guy likeable. Honestly, I had (and still have) no idea what I was doing. Ch. 2 was originally the first chapter, then I got this crazy idea to tell how they bumped into each other. After I wrote it I had no idea where to stuck that chapter, so it ended up in first place . . . but now, months later, I wonder . . . .

I had an exam today, but now I'm good until the final rolleyes, so I can get more reading done for the chain now.
