You know, when you asked for critique over on the Story Discussion Circle, I had 3 serious paragraphs written out, had read the story at least twice, then had a brain fart, did something goofy and lost my 3 paragraphs. I was so frustrated and it was late at night, so I just quit.

Sorry about that. Afterward, Poppycock, who knows more than I do about what she's talking about, pretty much covered what I was going to say ... and more ... AND she did it with much more elegance than I'm capable of!

I'll go vote and comment. I don't tend to give serious feedback on the story page itself (unless the writer seems to understand the consequences and still want it) and won't this time. It's too much of an advertisement to other potential readers for that.
