My point is that, in my opinion, our current mod begins, defends, encourages, guides, and protects hateful language in posts and threads that are not germane to the PLAYground, and are likely more appropriate in a different forum.

I said “He deserves it”? The only time I can think of where I may have said anything remotely similar was when pmann and mo were going back and forth and several people were reporting Mo’s posts and not pmann’s. They were either both wrong or neither were, but the reporting was one-sided.

I have helped a lot of people here, some that I don’t particularly care for. “He deserves it” is not something I would say nor does my moderation support that.

I am not the only person who responds to reports here, incidentally. But, I don’t think she would state that in the implied way either.

For what it’s worth, I do deserve a lot of the shit that I get. I understand that being able to say something and being able to say something without getting backlash are two different things.

I actually don’t mind the discourse. I may disagree with a person or dislike their opinions, but it’s always good to see both or however many sides of an argument/debate/opinion there are.

I’d rather the forum be lively with debate than dead from boredom. Lots of people with whom I’m friends disagree with me on a number of issues. And that’s okay. Why should I agree with my friends on everything? Shouldn’t we all hope to have people in our lives with differing views, rather than people who just affirm our current beliefs? If everyone did that, we would be a bunch of Diosaxes running around posting and clicking the crying laughing emoji all the time. Wouldn’t that be the saddest world you could imagine? *sheds a tear*
