Are you a lurker?

Me three! What is it you hope for??

Sorry for not getting back sooner. Hoping to find regular chat, mutual arousal. I am a bit sub and seems finding someone a little more on the Domme side seems difficult at best

I see you post a lot! I'll have to go check you out. :) Thanks for posting here.

It's interesting people seem to lurk a lot in the beginning. Figuring out how to jump in to the conversation, I guess!!

I think I lurked for ages, awed by the experience others seemed to give off when I was new to the threads, to the kinks they were clearly (?) more experienced at. Only when I got comfortable with my own experiences could I join in.

Darling, I'm sure that sounded great before you typed it. To non goers it's a bit like ' they love her in hell, she's just their type!' :D.;) I know I am NOT universally liked, and that's fine by me. :)

No, it didn't even sound right before I typed it.
Busted.

Seems like a lot of lurking going on, little posting, here at least!

A dip in, dip out day for me.... No pun intended sadly!

Interesting thread, from what ive read.:)
When i first came onto Lit forums, i jumped straight in and enjoyed trying to contribute and get onow people, then over a very short time i started to see 'Cliques' and 'teams' and groups just like in so many of real lifes mixing pot areas where people gather regularly and i guess i realized that as i dont play very well in groups or diverse social situations i would probably be the same here and in the next couple of months i stopped posting so widely and only pop up and post when the mood strikes or it takes my liking.
I dont feel i lurk but iam NO social butterfly either;)
I like to read, think, look, and generally explore, there is one thread i contribute to regularly, mayne more than i should, it is my addiction here..:D

Mostly I spend my time posting in PG, but I B once around and look at a lot of threads on different boards and just don't post there.

I checked ya out :) That thread was interesting to read through!

Sometimes I feel like I'm jumping in to the middle of someone else's conversation, so I get what you're saying about groups of people. I don't see it as cliquey though... more just figuring out where to jump in. But you have to do what feels comfortable, right?

Thanks for posting here.

I've been known to lurk from time to time. I stalk people's posts ever once in awhile as well.

I agree, cookie. I am generally a man of few words. I followed a few posters and have found theads that become favorites. I read stories on lit for a long time before finding the forum. Now I visit here when I can. It so nice to see the open exchanges of thoughts, ideas and pics in a very friendly fashion. No pretenses, mostly. A helping, nurturing community.

How was the vermouth?

I think it's natural for groups to form where people gather. We share jokes over time, get to know each other, form opinions. I expect 'cliques' to form. I think a key difference can how these function and how 'closed' and entrenched they are.

I felt welcomed, and a new flush of new posters, new to this board literoticans and returnees has brought new vigour here I think.

I like how you put that, Elle - that it's natural for groups to form where we gather. Even though I joined 10 years ago, I haven't been here much. Now that I'm "back" -- I still have that newbie feeling. But I like to lurk, look at old threads and posts and figure things out. Get to know people through their writing. I guess I have the time to do it now, which helps. It's a lovely distraction and in many real ways, an even lovelier way to connect.

Hi! My name is Richard and I am a lurker.

The first step is to admit it. Hi Richard!

It's funny how we came for the stories and landed in the forums.

I'm glad you're inclined to post here. I like the though that you "visit" - it seems so pleasant among our conversations / pics about control, domination, etc.

I can't stop staring at your AV, by the way.

Yea, I want to flick his uvula.

Ha. It's a King Crimson album cover, but don't you feel like that sometimes?

Yes. All day yesterday.

One of my best friends growing up is into King Crimson. I should have known.
Or maybe you're him...?
