In brief....

Trust me my post was not to support any one individual. And certainly I feel that RR does not need the support of a "mere" submissive. I find that I disagree with much of what has been said on both sides of this arguement, and especially some of the comments by RR. How suprised he would be, to find out I am not always a peace keeper and that I do have incredibly sharp claws.

It is only that I find these little wars so tiresome. And that I fear they deter many a newbie and some more experienced members from becoming involved here.

When I first read this thread, I thought it might be a place where I could read about different people, their experiences and how each experience has helped them in their journey from Non-Dom or non-sub to the place they are in - right now. One must question in order to learn and I believe the public nature of this forum allows one the ability to ask and respond as your conscience dictates. But there is a responsibility that comes with that.

You must be willing to speak your mind, clearly, without attacking another - and you must be willing to listen to others who have shown the courtesy to do the same. Anything else is .....garbage.

I'm sorry you had such a painful learning experience. Unfortunately, it's a tell subs tell time and again. YOu were lucky. Recall the 12 step phrase I mention above....jails, institutions and death.
