Bandit's Blurt and Vent Thread

Your stuck with me all weekend now as Karts have also been canned due to all the rian but good news is fine monday & up till next weekend when rain is again on the menu.

Oh damn what will we do to amuse ourselves seeing I'm stuck with you all weekend.....:p  :D

We have solved the problem with the pot. We went online and bought some synthetic smoke for around the same price as an ounce of maryjane.

It arrived today - Sir had a couple of very small cones and is happily cruising along in bed with His shoulder pain vastly improved ;) No more worries about doing illegal drugs, this stuff is perfectly legal (for now anyway!).

We joked that as the site warns about not operating machinery when using this product, that He will be perfectly happy not to operate the vacuum cleaner! :D

Just a little catch-up :)
Sir had his fistula ballooned again on Wednesday, it's still a little tender when He's on the machine but will improve with time. Already the arterial and venous pressures are better.

My daughter arrives in a couple of weeks for a month long stay while she's recovering and between jobs. No doubt she will be busting out of all her clothes by then so we will have to go shopping....:D

Speedway karts are on tomorrow and surprise surprise it looks like a fine day for once so Sir will have a busy day tomorrow :)

Sounds like all good news.:rose::)

Yes it's good for once I do get sick of "venting" sometimes! :)

Sir has gone to the karts so I have a quiet day to myself - will miss Him heaps until He gets home though

Got a text message from my daughter wishing me a happy mother's day, and that she remembered this year because technically she's a "mum" herself now she's pregnant :D

LOL, I hear you. I have been a little concerned about my daughter as last I heard she was trying to put off going into hospital for yet another operation, for a week or so and that was a couple of weeks ago. Wanted to phone her this week, but have been too ill so have sent her a quick message on facebook and hope I hear something in a few hours.

Always good to read your updates Bandit..Thinking of you and Gil! :rose:

Just a quick visit :)
My daughter is here until June 23, there's a definite baby bump there now and we had to go shopping for stretchy looser clothing and bigger bras as she suddenly started busting out all over  She's well, but gets tired in the afternoon so we have to do our shopping etc in the mornings.

We are still dialysing every 2nd day, have to form a new venous buttonhole (again) so back to sharps I go (really hate that).

We have both been sick in the last month, me with a cold which has left an annoying tickly cough. Sir caught it off me but His developed into bronchitis which needed 2 lots of antibiotics. He's starting to come right now.

Other than that we are carrying on as usual. It's cold but sunny which means we can get out in the middle of the day but it starts to cool quite dramatically after 3pm and it's dark by 5. Can't wait til after the shortest day so the days start getting longer again!

Enjoy your time together....I am sure it will pass far too quickly.:rose:

Whew where did the time go....

My daughter has gone home, after having to stay an extra week because of the volcanic ash cloud from the Chilean volcano that hung around NZ and Sydney airspace. She texted me yesterday with the news that she's had her scan and IT'S A BOY! due on November 24th. Both mum and bubs are doing well and he's apparently very active, she can feel him move now. I suspect there's a future All Black in there :D

My son has bought his first car and took it for a reasonably long drive last weekend to visit the family on the farm, all went well so he'll have more confidence now. The depression has reared its ugly head again so I think he's going to have some more counselling...maybe because it's the middle of winter he's being affected by the shorter days (I think it's called SAD - Seasonal Affective Disorder or Winter Depression). He knows his symptoms now and is ok with seeking help when he needs it.

Sir and I are good, dialysis every 2nd day can be a bit draining for both of us though. I had a bit of a meltdown this morning which upset both of us, Sir says He's never seen me go off like that  I've been to the gym twice the last couple of days but even a combat and boxing class didn't help...lol maybe I need to go tonight as well

Hey Bandit! Glad to hear that things are good. Do you know why you are melting down? Is it chemical or hormonal? Does walking help?

I suspect a combination of things - stress, tiredness and frustration (we bought a new TV and I can't seem to tune it in right....we've had problems with reception for about 3 months now I think this building needs a new antenna  ).

I tend to bottle things up and I know I shouldn't but hard to undo 23 years of what I used to do during my first marriage. I know if I am not careful I will end up with a stomach ulcer (which I have had in the past).

The gym is my stress release. I go there and punch and kick and pump iron and I do seem to sleep better after a good workout. My "meltdowns" don't happen often, I wish they never would but sometimes the safety valve has to go off I guess. It upsets Sir when this happens which also upsets me but a few tears and lots of hugs later I was feeling a lot better.

I used to like swimming, you can bash the water, yell scream and no one knows.

I am glad you are feeling better!

Has anyone ever forgotten their safeword in the heat of being overstimulated and just yelled out "safeword!"?

Apparently I have, a couple of times. But I have no memory of doing so  Sir thinks it's hilarious and He keeps on going for a bit longer (I am not in any danger it's just that I am being overwhelmed with orgasmic sensations :D ).

Argh popped Sir's fistula this morning, luckily we are only minutes from the hospital and one of the guys in the renal unit helped us get things right again. There's a lump there still but not as big as it was. We are running a bit slower pump speed for a while but all looks ok so far *fingers crossed*

Still doing every 2nd day although we've had a couple of 2 day breaks lately due to having to fit in appointments at the dentist and other important things like the rugby league grand final on TV ;)

Sir has had quite a bit of dental work done lately (all free under Medicare because He has a chronic illness), extractions and fillings next thing is to be fitted for dentures in the next couple of weeks. I am having a crown done, I have the temporary one now just waiting for the new one to be made and fitted in about 10 days. Unfortunately I have to pay, altogether about $1500AU but not too bad considering I haven't seen a dentist since March '05

*HUGS and HUGS* to you both.

FF

:rose::rose:

Thank you FF :rose: All appears well again with Sir's fistula so fingers crossed it continues!

The shift to daylight saving time last weekend has played havoc with my body clock, I have been tired and a bit grumpy and it appears I'm not the only one, several people I've spoken to have reported feeling the same. I see lots of yawning around as well! :D Maybe another week and I will be back on track (I hope!).

Glad things are going better!

I yawn a LOT. Seems I never get enough sleep.

Hope next week makes it better.

I yawn when I wake up, I yawn when I'm tired, I yawn when my blood sugars are dropping, I yawn when ever anyone else yawns & I even yawn when someone yawns on the phone plus I just yawned typing this.:(

Today is a specail day for BANDIT:heart:!

It's her BIRTHDAY, Happy Birthday My Wonder Woman, you get to spend your birthday caring for me on dialysis.

Happy birthday, Bandit! May it be the best you've ever had, and the least of all those to come. :rose:

I somehow missed this when it was originally posted, but you might want to look into some of the wide-spectrum lighting fixtures that are available to help with SAD. I suffer from it to some degree, and my mother suffered from it to a greater degree, and we both found that those lights actually *do* seem to have a positive effect. They're not terribly expensive, at least in the U.S., and not all that hard to find. Good luck to him!
