Yes it's a big huge conference, maybe a lot of people roll their eyes at it these days -- but it's probably the most diverse SM event I've been at. It had a very healthy vibe and a strong, integrated crowd.
And the young and hot were there in all shades as well.
(not that you can't be old and hot, I'm probably treading that soon)

Sorry, I assume we've talked about this before but it seems to have slipped my memory.
I have nothing whatsoever against big conferences. I had a great time at TES Fest.
And, personally, I can't wait to be old and hot. I'm jealous.

I think the idea of a secret society is cool.
Personally, I tend to think just being sexual in a way that goes beyond social acceptance (I am a closet dom and sexual perv) is part of that secret.
Its one of the things that I admire about the criminal world. To be a criminal is to go within a special subsect of society.
A "Sexual Outlaw" does something similar.
As far as joining a group?
Eh.
If it is about people with mutual interests working for mutual goals and sharing satisfaction with each other I think its good.
If it is some dorky costume party where you have to obey a bunch of unjustified and subjective rules its silly as fuck.

It wasn't too bad, we had our Halloween party here at my house, and it was a blast. They brought the crosses and spanking benches, everyone else brought food and what they wanted to drink. A spanking good time was had by all

Sounds great! I wish I could have been there. I'd love to meet y'all and to go to more of these things. As it is I recently missed out on a rare scheduling opportunity to go to a demo and play party due to illness.
