If this were a real posting relevant to the thread topic it would have to do with writing/creating under the influence of various chemicals, whether external (nitrous oxide, alcohol, caffeine) or internal (endorphins, adrenelin).

My previous post was badly worded. Let's try again:

I'd say Shakespeare was genius, but that's because I've read him. There are a lot of people who would say that Shakespeare is a genius simply because they know that's what they're meant to say. His fame as a genius is what brings him his fame as a genius if you see what I mean.

Same with the Mona Lisa (I know nothing about art, so this is safer teritory for this argument). Most famous painting in the world is the Mona Lisa. Why is it famous? Because everyone goes to see the most famous painting in the world.
