We could measure, I suppose.
What she said. The nomination thread is here. Go post your nomination of Dora. She well deserves it.

And she has killer legs.

I think.

I'd sure like to find out.

As would SB. ;)

12 inches? but you don't use it as a rule?

I don't think one "asks" a Feldmarschall, or for that matter, a Colonel, to "bend over," at least since Roman times.

Certainly I'm not going there. Guy would destroy me.

I was (as you well know, Ms. Dishonest Canadian) speaking of the body posture of our English correspondent. The one with the lavender bum. ;)
Why, yes. I am. :)

Oooo. Annie needs to use that as her title. Lavender Bum.

I prefer to call myself a twister of words.

Flirtin is good.;)

I'd like to nominate Ms. PandoraGlitters.

Reasons:

1. Her poem "Self Help" is one of the most moving poems I've ever read.

Stop. Reset. Then
think about the thing you will regret
in fifteen years. Imagine the shape of that
unfulfilled wish, hold it in your arms
and then feel it dissolve;

yes. That regret.
Then imagine the things that might
prevent it. Then take the first
step to avert it:

a phone call,
a trip to the dentist,
proctologist, florist.

Maybe the task is to forgive,
remake friendships. Forge
anew old communities. Reunite
lost loves, mothers and children,
create a movement

to begin the future again
string and chalk in hand.

2. Several of her poems have been published this year in SERIOUS publications.

3. NEVER fails to give good, positive encouragement to all.

4. Is a freak'in sweetheart who has killer legs!
(okay, I admit I fantasized the "legs" part, but I'm STILL betting she does!) :D

You are sweeter than I deserve. And ty Tz, also. Seriously though, I don't do the tough stuff you guys do by posting threads and whatnot. Maybe in a year or two, I would deserve that. I do really appreciate your flattering thoughts. And yes, I have slaughtered any number of poor souls with my powerful thighs. In parts of the country, they call me Da Nutcracker.

It is such an aesthetically pleasing position, though. I mean, from a disinterested observer point of view.

Well, probably not that disinterested.

I'd sketch it, but have no charcoal, drawing pad, or anything like the competent drafting skills to render it appropriately as sketch.

I do have a digital camera, though. :)

*nods* me too. And a pretty firm idea of what Some People Around Here like to see.

For that matter, our aesthetics are rather similar in places. From, of course, nicely contrasting points of view.

is that your round about way of asking Hom to bend over?

You are such a flirt.

*laughing way too loud*
Nice that the job isn't killing your sass or scalding your sauce.

I've sent Bijou on a long quest if she accepts this dangerous mission she may be some time

My, I have been away a bit; here's a whole party going on and I'm missing it.
But I'm back now. For a bit, anyway, before dinner.

Nothin. He would be too busy crying when I finished making fun of him for being a Mama's boy

I invented a new verb the other day. To Vanna White someone is to gesture in a ta-da sort of way around something, as she does for the prizes on that game show.

*Vanna White-ing Sara*
Ladies and gentlemen, the meanest little kitten on the PFD.

Does anyone else see my bum as lavender?

Not as such, though there are multiple tones, pinks and whites and a bit of lavender as well.

I too have a laptop, though.

And I'm not afraid to use it.

Too late.

And congratulations. ;)

Just use your hands and you will be fine.

*nods* That would have been my advice.

It's really okay to feel your way around, and Dark gives one a really good excuse to do so.

If one needs an excuse.

eta: Dora, you thoroughly deserve to be nominated. Congrats.

At least you're not dim and confused by near light! :cattail:
My sense of touch, though probably not so advanced as someone truly blind, is, I think, enhanced over someone with 20/20 sight.

I'd better check though. Turn out the lights.

If you read braille, I say B.

and then an A on the next line.

eta: Sara, it figures we'd have both invented that verb.

I wanna be the evil twin tonight. It was your turn last night.

Just use your hands and you will be fine.
Well, so long as it is "just use your hands and you'll be fine" and not "you'll be fined."

I distrust Canada, fundamentally. It's just... too north.

Though I think you're actually south of me, which I would gloat about except for the snow.

I stand by my nominations. Though I guess they only count the first one. If I could co-nominate though, it'd be you and Tzara. I've done a lot of writing and reading in your threads. They've been really valuable to me.

Of course, everyone here is an inspiration and Angeline has been really helpful too. But if anyone would be willing to second either of my two nominees, well, I just think you should.

What? We are the nice guys.

I am further south, I think and I have no snow.

*gloat gloat gloat*

I'd love to go and nominate. I'm not, though. Every year, the whole thing gets blown far out of proportion. In my life, the Awards forum is OFF LIMITS. :rose: Luv yas all though. Go rawk the world one nomination at a time.

I can't argue with your policy there, Champy. There's a lot of drama potential in this comparatively unimportant little thing. But it's kinda neato to be able to go somewhere and tell people they're doing good things.

means nothing, of course. But if it makes a day a little happier for someone, there's at least that value.

up late, dollface? or just stopping by for a moment?
