Sometimes it pisses me off, and I’ll have something I shouldn’t and it takes me a week to feel like myself. The price is just too steep these days.

I feel you... My gut is a bit similar. I can slack with fodmap fruits, but some other things like wheat and ice cream take a long time to recover from.

I'm ok. Hubby is heading to IL today. He starts his new job tomorrow and we're not sure yet when we'll see each other again. But our entire marriage has consisted of long separations (thanks immigration), so we'll be ok. He tried to cheer me up by telling me I should be happy to control the remote and there will be less laundry and cooking.

Hope he likes the new job! Maybe he will find a good place to help you hide the bodies
