Corset Training

Thank you

When do we get to see pics of you in your corset?

you are very welcome Shy *hugs*

As for my pictures, I would really like to show some ( with or without corset ..lol) but the minimal amount of prudence due to job issues ( which is not simple shyness but a real objective reason ) prevents me to do that for the moment .... and in future I am afraid :(
So you must believe me on word I am simply fantastic .... lol ... kidding :D b. :rose:

Bumping to see how everyone is doing. :)

I ordered an underbust training corset and have had it for a couple of weeks. It isn't custom fitted (still have about 5# to lose), but it is an improvement over the overbust I first bought. I'm looking forward to being properly fitted and solving the slight issue I have with being a bit short waisted.

I'm still enjoying lacing, but struggling a teensy bit with people making comments (exactly how does one respond when someone one doesn't know well at all says "Wow! How small is your waist? How do you do that?" ). I'm also at the re-thinking wardrobe stage... things that dit at the waist don't fit at the hips; things that fit at the hips don't fit at the waist. Sigh.

Hi curious! I'm curious, who is your training corset from? I didn't realize you'd been tightlacing with an overbust before, yikes! Underbusts are definitely more comfortable for long-term wear. I like that I can wear a bra with it.

Are you still reducing just 3"? I am a bit bigger than you and fairly squishy, but I usually reduce about 5" and I don't get comments about my waist size. I definitely like the way it looks but I guess the clothes I wear to work are loose enough that it doesn't show much.

I have got to get a 28" corset. The three I have are 30" and 32" and they are only bringing me in a couple of inches - not enough! I've been prowling eBay, I've got a black fake leather overbust I'm crossing my fingers on...

My first corset was a 22 steel bone leather overbust bought off Ebay for about $160. I ordered a 20" on the advice of a good friend (I was at 30" natural waist when I started); I got down to 25" in that one, but my ribcage was just a bit too broad.

The current corset is a Meschanets standard underbust training corset with 28 steel bones in a size 20" (sniped off Ebay for $150 including shipping; it took 3 weeks to arrive, so it was made, just not "custom" made).

My natural waist is down to 27"; laced I'm at 23½"; I expect to be at 22" in a week or 10 days. My current measurements are 34/23½/36; I'm not wearing my clothes skin tight, but the don't hang on me, either. ;) To be honest, the hard thing is being noticed. I'm just now starting to realize I'm pretty after a lifetime of feeling horridly plain and I'm not well equipped to deal with being noticed. I don't want to say I'm tightlacing if someone asks; it feels unseemly to be discussing my undergarments. I need to come up with a standard non-answer, answer. *laughing*

I bought the 20" because it made no sense to me to be stuck "downsizing" corsets every few weeks. The adjustments your body makes really do happen quickly; if I'd bought a 22" 3 weeks ago I'd be needing to place a new order for a 20" one already to allow construction time...
