I've been indulging in my obsession for hidden messages...

can you guess what it says?

Ooh, pretty! I can also guess what it says, because I know what the second and the fourth letters are. ;)

So pretty!!! I love the rough texture, love love it.

kybele...those are SO great! I love hidden messages too! :)

Oooooh, very nice. :D

thank you guys!

hahaha! well I was not quite sure how readable they would be. will have to get someone who has a sight impairment to try them out. I'm also looking for a charity to donate a % to as well.

Bwahaha, nicely done, put my rusty Braille-by-sight skills to good use!

I'm procrastinating.

I really hate writing discriptions. I'm never sure if I'm using enough adjitives, or too many, am I giving enough detail, not enough?

I have oodles of these. I was planing on taking them to the flea market, but I can't do it alone, and mom is banking on garage sale sales. She does hand sewing so she doesn't have enough product to make a flea market worth while, and I just can't do it alone, especially not until I"m healed.

so picture taking it is. This is so much more fun with live kids.

If I had a toddler, I'd want the dress and overdress in toddler1 I love those colors!

same here. I love the... is it like an amish look?

Thanks, I really like how that combo works too. Enough that I might not separate them like I usually do.

It's my take on a ren fair peasant dress I saw, only miniature. But my niece loved wearing hers all of the time.

As always, great work!!:rose:

I made a card for myself:

But I'm not sure if the legend is correct or going to get me what I want...

The picture on the card is still very pretty, though. :)

And ooh, I need to take a picture of the potholder I made some time ago and put it here just for larfs. It was my second attempt at crocheting ever. It's purple, almost a square and there's an ugly attempt at lithium atom embroidered on it. :D

Currently I'm crocheting 3x3" squares in different colors and making a periodic table for my nephew.

Crochet and physics, two great tastes that taste great together!

That is awesome and makes me laugh like crazy...

So, I hereby present my first (and quite possibly last) contribution to this thread. This was my second time crocheting - well third, if you count the one time I had to do it in school when I was 7 or 8 - and it kiiiinda shows. I laugh and laugh and laugh at my embroidering, so don't feel ashamed to smile and chuckle as well. :D

Lithium?

Yep. Three electrons. :)
I wanted to ask last night-- why lithium? But now I see why, you chose it for the symmetry. :)

I'm sure you've noticed how purely difficult it is to embroider on a crocheted background...

I was inspired by the cut of the star trek dress.

I will also note that if my fat ass wants to wear a dress of this cut, I'm going to have to lengthen it by 4 inches or every one will see said ass.

So I'm calling this a top. It really needs a zipper though. It's suposed to go in the back, but I'm thinking about putting it in the front. Or even putting the grommet tape in the front.

Thoughts?

Grommets! Much nicer than zippers!

ARGH must find measuring tape for wenchie.

We need to add a measurement. I know you said that you would wear tights under it, but when I tried this on, it only came halfway down my cheeks! And I know we have simular shapes.

Add: back of waist-hem (just under cheeks)

I'm venturing into this thread..
I make Jewelry as my artform that keeps me sane between also having two jobs and a LDR with Master.

I sell my work at a couple local shops. I'm still wondering how to go about getting a website going.

I never use plastic in my designs.
I use recycled glass and gemstone beads from antiques and also use real stones and glass beads I buy at shows, online, and at stores. The metals I use are copper, brass, silver fill, gold fill, gold plate and silver plate.

Enjoy. :D
