There was one person who voted on a very strict scale (Sorry, I don't remember who. It all just blurred together) with votes for different bits: one vote for the grammar, one for the hotness, etc. and then made an average. Lots of decimal points. Evil person.

That was me. I judged each story on 5 criteria, namely originality, characterisation, eroticism, grammar and prose. I felt it was a fairer way to evaluate the merits of each story as it helped to compensate for any dislike of a specific theme. I awarded marks out of ten for each component and then converted them all to a mark out of ten. I felt this was a more objective way to determine a story's overall merit.
