don't panic! Just eat the damn cupcake! :D:D:D

Where's your towel?

I was always told not to pick up hitchhikers.

*takes a cupcake to the corner, clueless*

In one sense I hope you are clueless. It means you have opportunity the experience The Hitchiker”s Guide to the Galaxy for the first time. I STRONGLY recommend finding the BBC radio plays and listening too them. This is where it all hilariously began. Adams, the author, claimed he would be finishing the script as the players began reading them. It’s very funny, witty and different. Please don’t watch the TV shows which are so bad as to make you wonder what all the fuss is about.

Agreed and agreed.

I guess it's been so long since I read them, I'd forgotten about the towel.

If it's not on Netflix or Roku, or YouTube, I will probably not see it.

Is it in book form, too? I'm more likely to find it, then.

☆☆☆

Hope everyone is having a good day.
What's for dinner? I'm planning grilled ham and swiss with tomato soup. Not feeling like more than that.

It's a book. It's a BOOK! Get it in audio 'cause its a British author and you will love listening to it. I feel confident you will love it. Do not watch the movie or any other thing made based on it. Any of those I have seen ruined it. It is available on audible. Looks like the original radio plays arw also available but for a bit of coin.

It is also a very easy read. Check it out from your local library. :)

I'll take a serving of tomato soup and grilled cheese! Yum!!

Paraphrasing Adams...If a man can hitch the length and breadth of the galaxy, facing various friendly and not so friendly beings, and still know where his towel is, he is a man who is always prepared, and can admirably face any situation.

- And definitely read the original plays, or listen to them on Audible etc. Very much character driven stories, with quintessential English humour, like the plays and novels by PG Wodehouse, but set in space.

What they said.

Warning, you will giggle a lot.

Good morning/afternoon! It's going to be a lovely day and I'm going to take advantage of it! I have no clue yet how, but the sun is shining, I've actually slept all night, and there is fun to be had...somewhere. After I get my chores done.

Oh, I pick up my audio book from the library today. It better be as interesting as the one I'm reading currently about the Italian Resistance. Which may be why I'm sleeping well the last few days.

*reactivates the portal into DLG...hold on, realign the phase variance, increase power slowly.....and....*

*BAMF* Happy Groundhog's Day! :D

oh shit, I forgot to account for temporal variances....What day is it today?

My being is not a kink

"I let myself get annoyed this morning. Thumbing through Tumblr and I see several things regarding being little as a kink and how disgusting it is.

I am little. I call my husband daddy. I like when he controls our relationship. I delight in childish things and they are a permanent daily part of my life. I am also a strong woman. I have a career. I have a child in college. I give a lot of my power to my husband because I trust him.

I do not regress to get us off. I am little because he loves me and I am safe to be me. I do not regress for sexual reasons. I call him daddy because I love him. He babies me because he loves me. It is pure and wonderful.

There are some completely uninformed ignorant people out there who need to learn a thing or two about a thing or two. Being little can surely be a kink. But being little can also be who your soul is. Learn the difference and try to grow instead of using fear as your weapon." ~Papistrouble

You go, girl!

The wicked witch has left the house....with a big poor me and I am too good for this place, seeking sympathy from her comrades in arms. I laughed...but did not post. I am too good to go there and post.
