I went when it’s normally empty, exactly for that people watching …but everyone wanted to chat! I’m not complaining though. It’s nice that everyone is so friendly. Talk to people you barely know has its own rewards, I always think .

I just remembered someone else that agrees with you on the long hair. I went in to collect a Chinese meal. I’d not been since before lockdown, when my hair had been very short indeed. She saw my hair and said “Oh my, Mr ******!” And another customer said “she didn’t say that to me!!!”
