well it used to be 16...but then that premiere guy or whatever got caught with the 14 year old hooker so it got changed before they charged him (we learned about it in law class haha) so now that he's been charged, they really have no reason to keep it 14. well, it does bring more paedophiles to the country, which i suppose is good for the economy... but not so good for the little girls

In this province it's still 14 and in most provinces I think it is 14. It could be 16 in many of them.

i should have just responded to this in the last post but i forgot. i've been around on this forum in one way or another for....um... a lot longer than i should have been haha. and although i wouldn't recomend it for most people that were my age when i started looking around, it helped me out a lot. there are alot more predators in real life than there are on these boards. it's really hard to find information on sex, that isn't solely about "safe sex", geared towards younger audiences. it's either look at adult sites, experiment, or remaining ignorant until youre 18.

I'm of the opinionn that I have no say in their sex life unless there is an imminent danger expressed by a single party participating. Once it gets into that territory, it's off. Rapes and lurings are definite no-nos (unleess there is an extended, confirmed relationshipThe ability to give consent (unforced) is what is key. With Sex comes responsibility - fair enough. If they screw it up they have consequences to face and they better realise the responsibilities.

That's how I look at it. 14 or 16 is about right.
