I want

I want
to take the first step -
no more dragging skin across cobbles -
to step out,
back straight
shoulders set,
tits forward
ready to poke eyes and prod memories
of the old geezers leaning
against pub walls.

I want
to step out and face the world
with all its blatant misery,
all its blinded misery,
to step out and paint the town red
with spiked heels
and swollen lips, once licked
but now taking
the initiative.

test after test

I laid word upon word
to gather steam
and express my thoughts.
My inner world
of wisdom and grace.

They took what I had,
asking for more.
Regurgitating my initiative
with
wait, another year
and come back.

Your smart enough
to understand the rules.
There is no fast track
here.

I have had a lil dream for a long, long while now. You know how these things work. One keeps putting them on the back burner and when you finally get up the initiative to cut the eye back on, it starts to thicken only to turn sour.

Forgetfulness

The name of the author is the first to go
followed obediently by the title, the plot,
the heartbreaking conclusion, the entire novel
which suddenly becomes one you have never read,
never even heard of,

as if, one by one, the memories you used to harbor
decided to retire to the southern hemisphere of the brain,
to a little fishing village where there are no phones.

Long ago you kissed the names of the nine Muses goodbye
and watched the quadratic equation pack its bag,
and even now as you memorize the order of the planets,

something else is slipping away, a state flower perhaps,
the address of an uncle, the capital of Paraguay.

Whatever it is you are struggling to remember,
it is not poised on the tip of your tongue,
not even lurking in some obscure corner of your spleen.

It has floated away down a dark mythological river
whose name begins with an L as far as you can recall,
well on your own way to oblivion where you will join those
who have even forgotten how to swim and how to ride a bicycle.

No wonder you rise in the middle of the night
to look up the date of a famous battle in a book on war.
No wonder the moon in the window seems to have drifted
out of a love poem that you used to know by heart.

Jenny's Madness

It was the dark dullness in your eyes
that gave away the knowledge
you had forgotten what happens next.
That sleepy nothingness
veiling the brown
as if curtains had closed
against the black of night,
shut out the unwanted,
closed the unknown,
smothered the forgotten.

she was just little

a tiny version of momma
alone in bubbles, till momma came in
seeing the welts, purple whelps
whipped into pink skin.

momma knew. she knew
all to well,
how step moms get crazy
when lil ones
compare a real mom
to a step monster.

she never forgot. a she cat
protecting her kitten
throwing bricks through windows
daring
screaming
fighting
her way into daddy's
worn down trailer,
(where the monster lived)
where
all the beatings, scoldings
and hair pulling pops took place.

she was just little.
a tiny version
of momma ...

a high, thick
brick
bulletproof wall,
guards
what's inside, well.

on an odd occasion
the odometer trips back,
adding shadows to moments.
better off forgotten
better off hid,

behind
this ghostly blockade
of inner demons.
that hinder their gatekeeper
from traveling past
the point
of no return.

I'm gonna kick your booty Sweets.

All I get is bad vibes from this word.
I usually lean toward the romantic.
Now all I can think of is ghost and goblins :p

Anyone else gonna jump in here, before I kill this muse off completely?

watching you write

the amazing thing is,

I've traveled long
and hard to get here.
Only, to ease back on the petal,
signal a left turn and down
another shot.

What possessed me?
What ulterior motive
am I hiding? Searching
for answers,
I pour one more.

Sitting in a deserted parking lot
just is not my style,
but as I begin to mellow out
I start to remember.

Listlessly I watch blue birds
fly through the sky. Blue,
my favorite color
to see him wear. I remember

running fingers along plaid stripes,
never enough. Urges always turned
to anticipation, of what lay beneath.

That oh-so-eager smile, I knew
it was there. He ached
as much as I. One more time,
one more hour, another week?
Could fate possibly be so kind?

To let us plant twin feet
beneath the same cover
every night? Or must we

travel endlessly
back and forth, never seeing.
Always wishing, as miles turn desire
into lil blue birds of hope.

I walk alone.

The wheat plains,
call out. An echoing
question always,
unanswered. One day
one moment
time will stand still.
Call me home, cushion me
in her motherly bosom
to get a taste,
of what home'n hearth
truly are.

Paris has,

brimming fountains
long lagoons
lost loves
and eternal longings

I tossed the coin.
supposedly, to make
a wish.

boink, splash

when will the sinking sensation end?
weightless in water, as yet
undetermined
to wish

I watch
the waving
back

forth, is it saying goodbye,
No!

I shall jump in
and get my damn love back.

 :p

candy strap, hard on
with a healthy dose
of spankings, is due.

ones birthday wish.
to turn the key
and release
defiant upstartlings
that press forward.
fumbling fiercely
as red hot poker

pepper, pleading
please de-seed
cook this cock
to a high burning boil
till

deep throated
screams scold
and pree-zent themselves,
before me.

go ahead. turn the key
and give me, all that
sweet juicy juice ..

a white tiger lay
upon the virgin snow
gazing at the snow capped mountains
embraced by clouds

I feel the wetness upon my cheeks
trailing down. displayed in patchwork

squares, three by three's. a testament
of heartwarming memories, the joy shared

beneath covers like snow, white and soft.
mountains moved in, pulled over the edge

to a final glimpse of heaven on earth. his arms
caught up in the trees ice cycle branches

limbing out to pull this vision, his snowangel
closer. a peck, a kiss to loom over

long into the distant future. where hell is paved
in sheets of ice, covered with this memory.
