GAMES - what do you play?

I'd trade my body for a good D&D game with an exciting DM and a creative party.

I like Warhammer 40k... Ok, I've only played once but I do have an army I enjoy painting.

Here here, lil geek. Though I suspect there'd be more people willing to go for your trade than the same one offered by me.

I played UO for like 5-6 years, I tried everquest once but never got hooked because I was also playing UO at the time.

I am now looking at Dream Of Mirror Online (DOMO)- Video , Game Info

Dream of Mirror Online (DOMO) is a social massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) based on the ancient Oriental myth of the Kunlun Mirror. Players can enter an anime-inspired world to socialize and form friendships, learn crafting skills and master a variety of job classes, all within the quest of trying to solve the riddle of the ancient myth.

DOMO offers players rich interactive features, a robust crafting system, extensive quests, and many fun skills

Just thought I would share a link to the races, if anyone is interested while I was looking at it http://domo.aeriagames.com/info/races

Dream Of Mirror Online (DOMO) was not my cup of tea the graphics had issues on my pc but aside from that the camera controls are just pathetic and I really just couldn't get into it. Has anyone else gotten into it or given it a go?

(deletes that one and looks for the next free game to play)

Well, good thing I didn't try that one :p

I finally told Sony to blow it out their ear due to many technical issues with EQ they were unwilling to assist with at the time.

You might want to try A Tale in the Desert V, it is based on community participation, crafting, and social building.

They usually allow a certain amount of free game play for new people.

You may have liked it many others do....the camera control just really got under my skin.....Rp519 gave it more of a go then I did so maybe I can convince him to do a review of its features as I just got too frustrated with the camera and couldn't change it so that annoyed me more.

I will check it out ...although I am not up for subscription stuff at the moment, I just don't game enough so free to play stuff is more my style.

I am just looking into some Free To Play MMORPGS and here are some that came up in my search........ ( I have no idea what any of them are like but thought I would share)

I got an email about this one today I havent really looked into it but I thought it might apeal to a few kitty lovers out there..... http://www.bladekitten.com/

It’s all fun and games… then someone gets hurt.

Sometime in the future, somewhere that’s not Earth…

Kit Ballard is a bounty hunter and one of the best in the business. Together with her alien sidekick Skiffy and her sword, the Darque Blade, she hunts down rogue mechs and soft targets. Kit becomes the nexus of a tumultuous series of events on the strange planetoid known as HOLLOW WISH.

Blade Kitten the game begins with Kit tracking a local troublemaker named Terra-Li on the mysterious artificial planetoid Hollow Wish. But on her way to doing so Kit uncovers a dark secret about Hollow Wish and its inhabitants, little does she realize that her actions will affect the destiny of an entire planet…

Her tale is one of liberation.

Her tail is pink

From my experience, Perfect World games are very easy and not fun at all.

I was in the beta for Battle of the Immortals, and it was just way too easy. You had no clue what you were doing in the game, things are very badly explained (if explained at all), mobs are nearly endless and even the healer classes have 0 problem killing them with little to no damage.

But what pissed me off the most was the auto-walking system. You could basicly click on the name of an NPC in your quest log and the game would automaticly walk you to that location. It was so dumb...

But that's just my experience..

*laughs* I've been looking forward to that one for a while myself. The premise is that you play as Kit Ballard, one of the last of her species. She's a bounty hunter, the central character in the webcomic Blade Kitten. The game's released by Atari as a digital download, but it costs 15 dollars...

I haven't decided if I want to give it a try yet, but I thought of you when I got the email Draggy and of RPCG so thought I should share.

Been looking into Warhammer Fantasy a bit lately, more out of curiosity to see how it shapes up to Warhammer 40,000 (and all of the advertising the new Warhammer Fantasy starter kit's been getting and wanting to see the models in it as more than photos on a website).

Speaking of 40k, I've been tempted to start a Space Wolves army (they're a Chapter of Space Marines who's tactics differ enough from normal Chapters that they get their own rulebook for the game), or at least to try and use the models I have to represent one to see if they fit my playstyle. That way, if I don't like how Space Wolves play, I won't be out of pocket. That being said; there is something appealing in using an army that's essentially Space Vikings. Look at what they go into battle alongside:

For reference, that Space Marine in the picture is about eight or nine feet tall.

No I haven't, but now you have me looking at it. How would you describe it? I've played lots of MMOs and some hold my interest longer than others. Does it have interesting plot? I know MMOs aren't known for it, but its always the thing that gets me hooked the most.

I actually know nothing about it Elrind I was just looking for something to zone out playing and my other game holds some bad vibes for me at the moment, so was just scouting around for something to play.

Ah. I've been in need of something new to play myself. It looks a little generic, but otherwise seems fairly well put together. If I try it out I'll let you know what I think.

Thanks Erlind, I am looking at a list of free mmorpg's at the moment....I am not really sure what style I want to play, I think a super hero one would be cool for a change or maybe a shooter but I haven't found any yet.

If you find a super hero one that looks good let me know. I had a lot of fun playing City of Heroes for a while, but I'm not really willing to pay for it right now.

So far no luck on that front..I am going to bath and put little miss to bed then go back to looking. If you find anything let me know.

Well that didn't go the way I planed.....I got up to put little miss in the shower and she was asleep on her bedroom floor playing with Barbie dolls *smiles* guess she was very tired today. So lucky me gets more me time...back to the game search.

Cute. I haven't seen anything too interesting. I played Anarchy Online for a while, which was a pretty cool game, but it wasn't really to my tastes. Its a pretty cool sci-fi game with lots of fairly unique classes. Otherwise I can't think of any free games I've really liked much.
