Your problem has a very easy solution, and I'm shocked you haven't figured it out. As you've been told repeatedly by the erudite folks here, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT HERE, DON'T LET THE DOOR HIT YOU IN THE ASS AS YOU LEAVE.

While I realize this may be beating a dead horse, I just wanted to add that there are folks out there who live to rile others by posting knowingly inflammatory topics. The bigger the rise they get out of folks, the better they feel. The best (worst?) thing you can do for threads of that nature, and the folks who post them, is not to feed them (by either posting to the thread about how offended you are or that you're reporting them) but to simply ignore them. The only harm a thread of that nature does is to make the poster look like an ass and, eventually, provide much amusement for those who like to mock those who make such posts.

If a PM to the OP did not satisfy the one offended, then you move to reporting them to the moderator. If they do not act, for whatever reason, then you simply ignore them (here, you can place them on ignore, which is a lovely thing...not all forums have that capability) or avoid the places they lurk. *shrugs*
