GOP’s paranoia and cruelty: The real lessons of the Obama presidency

And Obama can forget about getting any appointments confirmed for the next two years -- any at all, I should think, they need not be controversial ones.

Yep, we've been through this before. One of President Obama's few shortcomings was that he was very lax in stockin' the judicial larder full of liberal appointees during his first six years in office. Granted, he faced an obstructionist Republican minority who filibustered literally everything until a courageous Senator Reid taught them that actions have consequences, but still....one of Dubya's first priorities was nominating judges who had a judicial philosophy of "Jesus first, Constitution second, Minorities last".

ROFLMAO you are on a funny kinda roll today

So the theory you sighted sucks.

I doubt you're fucking anything that requires it to be on birth control.

Awesome. Personal attack. Good for you. Answer with another one.

Shouldn't Judicial appointments be based on ability and not party?

anyone that is pro obama is pro entitlement aka socialist America which means that they are too fucking lazy to get a real job

Because it causes inflation? So what?! Monetary inflation is not always a bad thing, you know, that depends on rate and on circumstances. Inflation is often a sign of economic recovery from a depression, which is characterized by deflation.

Rob and KingofAssTards, well these are examples of the obama mental fucked in the head kind. the kind that need socialism to support their dysfunctional way of life and by that I mean stealing from others to support their lazy way of life

You'd think that'd be the deciding factor. The simple fact is there are so very few persons nominated to the bench considered "unqualified". I can only think of one, Harriet Myers. Sadly, given the propensity of conservative judges to legislate from the bench, it behooves us to determine the depth of their partisanship.

That's pure crazy talk from both of you with no evidence.

Monetary inflation is a bad thing, it means that the costs of goods and services has increased because money is worth less.

Example: Lets say that this rock I found is worth $30.

Because of inflation, my rock is 'worth more' but that doesn't matter.

What matters is that you have to pay me $40 for my $30 rock. Same rock, nothing has changed but the value of your money.

If you don't see that as a problem, your a looney.

If there was inflation, bonds would go through the roof. Go to any real financial site--you'll see. Also, inflation would make gold rise. Hit yourself in the head with that rock again. You might come to your senses. Your ignorance of basic finance tells mt you're trailer trash.
