how do you prepare your hair down there? :P

I'm talking in general (as I didn't quote anyone :) )

I'm just saying, it's interesting to me that society in general is largely hooked on making adult women look like little girls in everything from clothing to hairstyles yet many instantly relate shaved genitals to "making her look like a little girl" in a negative way.

I know right...

I don't want hair on her lips, or his balls ever. No excuses.

i keep it all shaved smooth, except about once every two months; i will apply the waxing strips around a  that is shaped on the upper area.

i will rip those off , trim the top of the  to about 1/8 inch and shave the rest with my Venus. i love that razor. So smooth and gentle.

Always thoguht I love the venus to, until I tried a razor for guys... Oh... My.... ... well you get the point ;)

It's really worth trying an expensive razor for men, I am never going back to our flimsy female models. Currently using Gilette Fusion, and it cant stand comparison. ^^

ps: And nice with the heart!

i wax whatever is there all off every Sunday afternoon. i like to start the week smooth.

Shaved smooth. I'm allergic to creams/waxes and I'm really not artistic enough to leave a little bit of hair. It just looks stupid when I try, so I don't. I shave every 2 or 3 days as I have dry skin that's prone to rashes. Master deals with it admirably.

I prefer my partners to have pubic hair. To me, when somebody shaves, it makes them look like a kid, and I'm not going to bed with anybody who looks like a kid. I don't quite understand the current mania for depilitation, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

I'm not sure it is a current mania, just perhaps more people discuss such things with the growth of the internet. For me it is nothing to do with D/s, fashion, looking like a child, or new as I have been doing it of my own free choice for about 35 years. As someone mentioned, growing up in the climate of Australia where I did, it is about feeling cooler and a whole lot cleaner and fresh. Men shave their faces, at least some of it if not all, and no-one feels they are trying to look like little boys again:confused:...some even wax or shave their chest, some their legs and underarms...it is all about personal preference and comfort for most. Right now with our heat wave, I am sure our cats would welcome losing their fur coats if it could be done without them being traumatised...as it is, they are reduced to sprawling flat out on the floor then shifting to a new cool patch every 15 minutes or so to try and get cool.:cattail:

The 'little girl' angle is interesting, but I don't think that's the only appeal. M is definitely NOT turned on by 'kiddie' stuff at all. He likes me clean-shaven, though, as do I. For us it's much more a matter of sensitivity than anything else. He doesn't particularly want a mouthful of hair (neither do I, if I'm with another woman), and there's more skin to play with if it's bare, for all kinds of fun things. :D

i will reiterate what some have said indirectly. i like a woman "clean down there" (whether by razor, wax, or whatever) for accessibility. i have known my share of BBWs, and, it can be a bit annoying and frustrating to have to "dig around" to find exactly what i am looking for. And, hair can be just one more obstacle. Of course, once i get there......................... :p:D:nana:

I dated a woman who was black/ashkenaz jewish and who preferred trimming to being a mass of ingrown misery, much to her credit. She was neatly trimmed and neither unpleasant to smell, taste, look at and I had no issues needing a map to anything. Hair gets an undeserved bum rap, IMO.

I personally maintain a landing strip, but that's the preference of 2 of 3 of the guys I'm with, and if I get more oral attention I'm game to do it. I like diversity in balls, shaven ones are super but it's not a dealbreaker. Just as long as I can twist them.

i am not that artistic. The first time i had the  shape left there was from a salon. They just told me how to take care of it after that. ;)

LOL Having/needing a map is not the issue. It's whether the landscape is paved or grass, as opposed to a lush rain forest. There are times when WAM is fun. But, if i had to state a preference.............

*cries* Does that mean since I'm a fat chick my stuff is hard to find?:(

LOL Actually, there is more fun stuff on a fat chick! :p The "hard to find" argument is just a diversion while we're engaged in more groping. :D

On the other hand, do you enjoy the search? i mean, there is lotsa groping going on, poking and prodding. Maybe it's just foreplay. Or, faked clumsiness. Prolonging the fun. Of course, once burrowed in, no reason to leave anytime soon. ;)

I prefer my gals to be shaved or waxed. Professional waxing is expensive, and home kits suck. This means shaving. I trim to a comfortable length (around 3/4" or so).

This is the truth. I've tried using the chick razors when shaving one of them (an activity that all parties enjoy), but have found that my Mach 3 Turbo works far better than anything else for women. I can understand why the larger heads on ladies' razor work well for self-use, but for use on others, go for a good quality man's razor. Seriously.

To those with sensitive skin, I suggest what I use on myself, and any gal I shave. It's a product called HeadSlick, put out by the company that makes HeadBlades for shaving the head. While I'm not a big fan of their razors, I am utterly in love with their shaving lotion. It's not a foaming lotion, and slicker than greased glass. One of my gals has very sensitive skin and gets razor burn whenever she shaves herself. When I do it with my razor and HeadSlick, she has no problems at all.

Those male shavers are so awesome! i used to use a Venus but then one day i decided to go and buy one of those Gillette Fusion's that go *buzz buzz buzz* and it definately gives me a closer, cleaner shave. Even without the *buzz buzz buzz* thingymabobby on! :p

How come men get the good stuff? :p

The other day in the mall I was walking past a clothing store for ADULT women with a window display. Mary Janes, knee socks, plaid school uniform jumper style dresses (that looked small enough to fit the 5 year olds that style was originally intended for no less....) and cutesy little-girl-style purses and accessories. I wouldn't have been surprised to lift up the skirt and find too-small white panties with "Monday" embroidered on them.

Somehow, society views this whorification of a classic little girl look as sexy and cute, but shaving genitals is akin to pedophilia?

Yeah, and the flip side is we are obsessed with dressing little girls like grown up women, and then the whole spas for little girls phenomenon. We are a really weird society.

I do find the bald look somewhat prebuscent, but it does depend on the nether region in question. Apparently they do vary, or so I've learned from Shankara's thread.

Because we're men. Rawr.

EXACTLY! I was shopping at Herbergers with my 4 year old niece and half the stuff I wouldn't even consider. I actually found a silky/slinky skirt in a deep brown material that looked like something a lawyer or a professional woman would wear to work. It wasn't adult-sexy but it was certainly not a childs style. Most of the rest of the stuff I found was too short and sexy or had Hannah Montana on it....for a FOUR year old??

I can't even make myself look in the preteen department.

Remember sharing razors can cause the spreading of hepatitis B,

Make sure you don't share a razor with someone you wouldn't share a needle or bodily fluids with...

It can cause the spread of disease... I only say this because I recently found it out while having myself checked at the local health dept.

Credible source...

shaving scars?

Phew! hehe :)

I have a knarley shaving scar on my ancle from a cheap ass jail razor, single blade, no strip... sliced me almost into the bone...
It is knarley. And mine.
I wear my scars. Wherever they are.

God.. I'd almost risk the rash for the experience...

It's good fun. I tend to adopt a serious mien when I am doing it, approaching the task in a very precise, controlled way. My voice is neutral and even, and I don't physically adjust her. I ask her to move, then make fine adjustments with hands. It's grooming, and my external appearance is almost impersonal.

I find that the juxtaposition of somewhat impersonal posture combined with the extreme intimacy of shaving my woman's pubic area, and the occassional hint of sexual touching makes for a powerful combination.

Yes.. I've been on the receiving end a few times and have ended up struggling by the end to hold still enough. Buy the end of it, I'm more then ready to pounce on him. Biggest problem I have is the rash after shaving. Hence my preference for waxing... and having been on the edge of orgasm a few times while being waxed... *sigh*... all the fun without the nasty, icky rash. *beg*
