how do you prepare your hair down there? :P

Yes.. I've been on the receiving end a few times and have ended up struggling by the end to hold still enough. Buy the end of it, I'm more then ready to pounce on him. Biggest problem I have is the rash after shaving. Hence my preference for waxing... and having been on the edge of orgasm a few times while being waxed... *sigh*... all the fun without the nasty, icky rash. *beg*

HeadSlick

Mach3 Turbo

Use proper products, shave with the grain of the skin, and don't overshave. To be very specific, and this advice is only good if you are willing to share blood with your partner, a razor that has been used once or twice shaves better than a brand new razor. If you aren't worried about catching anything from him because you're already sharing fluids via unprotected sex, have him use a razor that he has shaved with a couple of times. If you are using your own, use a blade that you've shaved your legs with once or twice.

I put a towel under her, keep a bowl of hot water at hand to wash the razor, and soak the area before hand. I use a dishtowel or handtowel soaked in HOT water (almost too hot to stand), wrung once, and lay it on her pubic area. Let it sit for a minute or two to soften the hair, open the pores, and ready the skin. I apply the HeadSlick in relatively small areas, and only the area that I am going to be shaving right then. Lathering the whole pubic mound at once will lessen the effectiveness of the lubes as they will volatise off a bit towards the end.

Don't let him go over the same patch of skin too many times. Just enough to get it off, and then a pass perpendicular to the grain (but not against!). Make sure that he uses the opposite hand to hold the skin taut. Basically, I put a finger against the skin near where my stroke will end, and pull away from the razor slightly. This makes the skin taut and easier to shave. Almost every stroke is preceded by the skin getting stretched. And a relatively light touch is handy here. Let the razor do the work without extra pressure. The mach3's are particularly good for this, as the springs are very lightweight and react weirdly if you use too much pressure.

Clean the razor frequently. If the water in the bowl gets cool, replace it. Once an area is shaved, wipe it clean with the wet handtowel immediately. When he is done, make sure he cleans you off well. I personally prefer the taste test for cleanliness, and just lick that freshly shaved cunt until she comes hard a few times. If my face and tongue are happy both with the closeness of the shave, and I don't taste the shaving lotion, I know that I've done it well. Overall cleaning afterwards is important too. A hot shower is not a bad idea, and, given how wound up both parties are likely to be, it is likely to be a hawt shower too.

And I usually stop shaving at irregular intervals to give permission to come. Usually.

*is totally squirming at the thought*

Yup.. that's what we did. I have an old-fashioned pitcher and basin that we used...

Altho, I'm finding that now I've been waxed, I don't tolerate being bitten on the mons as well. The hair serves a purpose... many of them.. I just don't like it.

i shave... but only because i can't stand waiting for the hair to grow back long enough to wax :S sometimes i leave a strip.. but most of the time i shave it all, love laying in the bath and foaming up the shaving cream between my legs (water levels adjusted for this of course lol) and slowly shaving until i'm completely smooth... love the feel of the blade on my sensitive skin... and love the way it feels when i slide my fingers over it when i'm done ;)
for me it actually heightens sensation...

I like the amount of time that a good wax lasts, but it's not the most economical thing to do as I am just physically unable to get a home kit as nice as I like it. So, I'll shave for upkeep. I've been looking at epilators lately, so I'm sure I'll give that a try. I don't like completely bare, nor do any partners that I've had, but I do leave a nice patch just above the goods.

I'm weird but I shave against the grain for the entire shave and have no problems with it. My cunt must be unique *snickers*

I shave my face and head any way. I don't pay attention to the grain. Shaving with the grain just happens to be good advice for folks with sensitive skin. I don't actually get a shave that is as close when I go with the grain, but sensitive skin types can't take a shave that close usually.

me too, I've never had a bumpie from shaving, and I find if I go with the grain my hair doesn't get any shorter.

shaved bald.. completely. I used to be au naturale.. then trimmed.. then it was requested, now I love it that way

i would have a big problem with razor burn when i tried shaving it, so i eventually just kept it neat. i knew that Master prefered it shaved so i shaved it for him for a visit, only to promptly get razor burn within a few days. this mucked up the rest of the visit a bit and MAster took over the responsibility of shaving me. he will do so when we are together. since that is the only time it happens now, it acts as a sort of mark on my body as its a visible remainder from our time together.

Thought I would bump this thread up because I have a question for all the ladies (or anyone else who can help!)

P recently asked me if I could trim a little down there and I said sure, no problem, because my main issue with shaving was always the idea that stubble would be very itchy as it's growing in, and I figured that trimmed but not totally shaven wouldn't have that problem. Unfortunately for me, I was very, very wrong. I trimmed it all down last night and it looks great but its itchy as a motherfucker and I don't know what to do! The skin itself doesn't seem to be very irritated, and I think it's just the shorter hair rubbing against the surrounding skin.

I know that there are some women here who keep it neat and trimmed but don't shave completely, and so I'd like to know if they have encountered this problem? Does it get less itchy? Are there ways to make it less so?

The only solution I can think of would be to either let it all grow back in or to shave it off completely, which I'd like to avoid if I can. Any and all advice is appreicated! Thanks!

Personally I have never had a problem with itchiness or ingrown hairs. Master prefers me to be completely shaved and I run a razor over it in the shower and never have had a problem. So I am sorry that I can't offer any advice.

I was just the opposite. I used to trim it or shave to a patch or landing strip until my PYL oredered me to keep it natural. Every day when I shampoo and condition my hair on my head I also shampoo and use conditioner down there too. I do my best to make sure it is very soft.

You are my kind of gal !

Vive au naturel !

I meant to add that Master did buy me an electric razor which I use from time to time though I prefer just to do it in the shower as it is quicker.

But the point of this is that the razor came with the "guarantee" that it would not cause ingrown hairs.

It is alledgedly used by porn stars and is called a BodyBare - you can google it.

I shave with Mach 3 Turbo. Leave a little patch above my cock, shave the "wings" and remove all hair from the goodies, as well as from the tops of my thighs. My perspective is you should never have hair anywhere you expect somebody's mouth to be... and, much as I like BDSM stuff, a good old fashioned ball-sucking will have me moaning and flailing about.

lots of great advice in here!

just adding in my two cents worth here - lots of great advice so far in this thread with lots of different variations. obviously what works well for one, won't necessarily work well for another - so it's pretty much just trial and error until you find what works best for you.
so far, i have not found what works best for me - but now i have a couple new things to try! lol i don't like to have too much hair down there - i am with some of the other ladies on here, i feel cleaner when it's not all bushy and wild down there. seems to me like it traps moisture and smell - which is never a good thing! ;) i have SUPER sensitive skin and am prone to infections, so trying to manage the goods is proving to be quite difficult. so far i have tried shaving with a men's electric razor - which i liked because it was nice and smooth, but didn't like because it seemed to leave little unseen knicks on the lips - didn't figure that out until i sat down to pee and thought my hoo-hoo was on fire! lmao not pleasant :) i have tried using the venus razor and i have tried using the schick quatro razor. haven't had wonderful results with either of those so far though. i've tried several different types of shaving cream but haven't found a suitable one yet - still trying. i certainly like the idea of having Daddy shave me! lol i may have to point him to this thread :) could be fun, and maybe the results would be better. i have a hard time manuevering like a gymnast so that i can see everything while i'm shaving lol so maybe that has something to do with my unwanted results as well. i seem to always either get a bumpy rash or a couple of really nasty ingrown hairs!!! wow, do those hurt like crazy! so maybe just laying spread wide open while Daddy does it could have better results, it would certainly be easier for him to see what he was doing than for me to try to bend in unbendable ways lol.
another thing that i haven't seen mentioned yet is the differences in pussy lips - i know, kinda weird! but personally - i have really big puffy lips, and that makes it kinda hard to shave too.
now - Daddy has asked that i shave a 'T' on the top of my pussy next time i shave. and me being the insolent naughty procrastinator that i am - have yet to do that! i know, i should probably be punished ;) haha im just trying to figure out how the hell im going to do that! i would like to go in and get a brazillian wax, but i don't know if they would be able to shape it with a 'T' or not. plus im not a huge fan of pain anyways. i have bought a home brazillian kit - but i haven't gotten a chance to try it yet.
well, i have gone on quite long enough with this. i for one am looking forward to hearing some more tips on how others take care of their hair! what a great thread!!

I found the first time I shaved, I was itchy as it grew back, and if I don't keep on top of it, I tend to get razor burn when I do do it.

I'm considering going for hair removal creams rather than shaving, it'll last longer imo.

I'm all natural now but for a while I did just trim it short. I found that there was a certain length that wasn't that itchy. It took trial and error to find a length that wasn't too long yet wasn't so short that it caused itching. I also found that putting some Silk Infusion helped keep it soft and less itchy.

Thanks for the advice!

I'm sure I'll figure out whats best for me soon enough.

If I'm going on vacation I get a brazilian wax, lasts longer... But I shave frequently so there really isn't much there...

After being au natural since ever, I've started shaving the bottom part first last year and now I have moved to trimming all the front patch as well. The secret there, as Estaticsub said is to find the proper length. To me is short enough that they lay on the skin and don't stand up.

I've been asked to shave off completely and I still have to get around it in my mind. LOL

And yes, using hair conditioning also help with the itching.

I think serji said that she shaves every day and it's not such a big deal.

Lemme tell ya, since I read that I've been running a quick razor over every shower and it really does make the difference. No itch, no irritation, no ingrown hairs, and no lengthy cold showers trying to get it all off. And I feel smooth every day, so much so that Jounar didn't notice a difference from day to day while I was there.

I've been trying to wax, but one, I have a hard time letting it get long enough, and two I don't want to pay for a professional waxing and doing it myself has been nothing but failure. My legs go fine, but I think my cunt is too hot for the kits I use, I just end up with sticky hair.

I prefer a patch at the top but bare lips on myself and other women. I don't mind totally bare on other women but I think it makes me look like a 9 year old girl. Other women can carry it off though.

On men I prefer the balls shaved or at minimum trimmed and everything else trimmed. If you want my mouth down there, and you do, you'll make sure I'm not having to stop and pick a pube off my tongue.

Untrimmed subs get punished in the usual way AND don't get licked. They only forget once. ;)

. . . I trimmed it all down last night and it looks great but its itchy as a motherfucker and I don't know what to do!

My sister lost her hair several times during chemotherapy. She said that getting your hair cut just prior to losing it caused more itchiness. I think maybe freshly cut hair is sharper at the cut ends. Perhaps it becomes more blunt over time or something. So maybe your itchiness will diminish as the hair dulls? LOL. Hope so! In any case, maybe baby powder would help.

shave with conditioner

I have really sensitive skin. I've tried shaving a few times but my skin always got really irritated. Its hard enough to shave my legs without them looking all funky, so I'm skeptical that my nether-regions will ever be able to handle it.

next time, shave with hair conditioner. It works wonders. and use body oil, or almond oil/olive oil on it afterwards.

also, if its the first time I'd clip it off with scissors as much as possible and then shave it off.

hope that helps.

I, myself, am natural.
My sub is trimmed near her lips and around the edges of the panty line, but she is to leave a 'landing strip' to play with most of the year.
As a reward, I have allowed her to shave it bare, but I dont like it. Personal reason.
