Hyper sexuality and ADHD

There seem to be a number of people relating their high sex drive to mean that they must have ADHD? I was officially diagnosed at 8. I don’t believe I am hypersexual but my need for connection, and my need to be wanted and appreciated has certainly lead me down some dangerous paths. I definitely have a high sex drive but am able to manage that, and I think it’s independent of the ADHD.
Obviously this is one persons experience though. I more wonder if the ADHD supports particular kinks. FFT

I was diagnosed with hypersexuality and treated with Paxil. That seemed to calm things down to the point where I was functional. Nobody ever mentioned ADHD, though this was all in the 2010s. My GP here just writes me Paxil scripts without a second thought. I think I’ll check in again with a psychiatrist to see if there’s a better option.
