Is cuddling important to you after sex/intimacy?

Cuddling doesn't seem necessary but I have always enjoyed it. Especially after hot sweaty passionate sex to cuddle up and just hold each other is wonderful. I know it has been said before it is about making a connection. In fact I often say what I miss of relationships on the physical side is the cuddling and sleeping together. Sex is always fun but a good connect is hard to make. Sex without cuddling after to me has felt alittle less fun.
