But I am also of a mind that it is a word to be reclaimed by women. I subscribe to the definition of a slut as being a woman with the sexual proclivities of a man. Why shouldn't I have have that latitude. It is sort of unfortunate that society has chosen to attach derogatory connotation to sexually liberated women, but the word is out there and I can't change that so I'll take it back.

Well I think it is important to first say that being a slut normally comes with a negative feel to it but a lot of people are thinking why can't it be a positive thing. Most women that love sex and yes pursue it are considered to be sluts but why can't we have fun as well. Some want to reclaim it as a term of empowerment for women. For others, it's a matter of fantasy or role play. There's no fixed number of partners that makes one a "slut" for women any more than for men.
