Unfortunately, yes. Once you stop taking it, supply begins to diminish. That is why initially I wanted to induce naturally, but... I couldn't wait any longer
Now if I had a regular nursing partner that would be different. I could ween myself from the dom and strictly nurse to maintain supply.

I met a friend this morning and had the absolute best nursing session. We met at a park near a lake. The weather is gorgeous today so we sat on a bench and watched the water for a while, had coffee, and talked. I wish he could have nursed right there. It would be amazing to watch the water while being suckled. That would be total serenity.
We decided my vehicle would be spacious enough, with tinted windows in the back- plus no one else was there. It kind of felt like we were a couple of teenagers at first lol. I cracked the front windows so we still had a nice breeze and could hear the water. As soon as I took my top off and he latched, I was in heaven. I don't think I've felt that calm in a long, long time. His latch was perfect, and everything about that moment in time was total bliss.
I still have days when I wonder why I did this to begin with, and moments like those bring me back. I could have sat in my backseat like that for hours. Happy hump day everyone I'll be over here in my corner smiling like an idiot for the rest of the day

Good on you girl. I’ve been away from this forum for a while, jumped back on tonight. I’ve been with milk for a while now but sadly on my own. Yay for you finding a partner....whether short or long term. I’m kinda jealous.
