At some point soon, I am going to get back in the groove of stuff, and at that point, I'd love a low carb buddy. My mom and I have started a y-group to encourage eachother, if you'd like I can send you an invite. However, I am in the closet, and therefore I would appreciate if you'd keep the details of how we met vague.

Yet there was a study done by some Polish researchers back in the 80's that said (whole not paste, etc) tomatoes are good for prostate health... I never saw a follow up on that study... :confused:

...also, and I had to check wiki on this first... tomatoes aren't a vegetable, they are actually a fruit of the nightshade family.

I have lurked on here for a while and never felt compelled to post before.

I have given birth to five babies. I have four surviving children. I also have some excess weight. I'm not obese, but I definitely have curves. I am also in my 40's, so I feel I can relate to what this supposed man is saying. And what his wife is going through.

Quite apart from the sneaking behind backs, and using of family money to pay for a pro and the lies and deceit .... Leaving those to one side....


Have you considered that your wife may have depression? Post natal depression is very common and your attitude towards her, as it comes across on this thread, utterly stinks. You come across as incredibly judgemental and shallow. And all of this will not help her if she is prone to any kind of depression.

I was married to a man like you. I thought, after having babies that I was fat and ugly. I really found it all very difficult.

Got rid of the wanker and guess what? I'm still the same size but I have a grin on my face everyday, I certainly don't have any problems getting someone to play with and unlike you, I don't have to pay for it or sneak around.

Well, I know for a fact that I'm bony, but I guess I'm also fat now... I'm trying to imagine what it would look like in order to be both simultaneously. The only thing I can come up with that reconciles this is for me to have my bones on the outside, so I guess the OP is asserting that I'm a crustacean. (Which is cool, I like pillbugs a lot.)

You see that's where it hits the fan. O is, arguably, the oldest blood type. Meats are supposed to be the healthiest things for O's to eat. which flies against what you said earlier...

I'm O-

O's supposedly are prone to thyroid problems, so don't ignore the iodized salt. iodine is good for healthy thyroids...
also prone to bowel hyperpermeability and celiac...

Blood type diets are a load of bollocks, as are D'Adamo's claims about when the different types emerged.

That said, iodine deficiency is real and very common, so one way or another it's worth making sure you're getting enough.

Thanks incubus, it's funny because only a couple of people actually answered my real question and a few pm'd letting me know that in fact there are a few rubber cones here who have nothing better to do than play up to their gang on mentality when we all know what their real issues are. They just never thought a stranger would bring it up and now they find they can't get away from it and they have to look in the mirror. Bitter women who hate men, it's always amusing.

Anyway I'm nothing like portrayed here and of course it's a post so I can't post every little detail here of the last nine years I'm married so of course no one can get the true picture, but any intelligent person can certainly read between. But yes I can see that this is a lifestyle that is more accepted than I originally thought. You can say I'm cheating and I accept that but I really wanted to experience the from of pain and humiliation because that is what I feel deep down inside. Me masturbating at the end of the session is a beneficial part of it because you are turned on through the whole session. As a matter of fact when I originally went to the first session I had no idea that would be part of to be honest. I was shocked when she demanded me to do so, but I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it.

I'm not sure how I'm going to fix my marriage, there actually were some good advice that came from a few posters here, so I'm sure I will take it and try them. I still think it's salvage and valuable to me.

Bull. I want to eat bread and only bread. It doesn't matter how little bread you eat, if all you're eating is carbs you aren't going to lose weight. How do I know this? Because my average carbs are about 700 A DAY. I have crohns disease, and I can't eat more than that a day. And oddly enough, I don't lose weight that way. When I switch my daily 700 calories to mostly protein and veggies suddenly I start losing weight. And, btw, my dietician TOLD me to do that and so did my primary and my gastroenterologist.

And on another note, I am SO sick of people saying 'well if you just stop eating so much you'd lose weight". It's not that easy, and only skinny people think it is. What you eat is as important as how much you eat, and any dietician will tell you that - I know I've seen more than fair share of them. I also know, from my last dietician, that MOST fat people actually don't eat enough. Ever read about the feast or famine syndrome? When people starve themselves, their metabolisms slow down, and they stop losing weight by cutting out calories - it's the bodies way of protecting itself. I have crohns disease and suffer, no matter how much I eat, from malnourished (actually diagnosed by a doctor). I have literally nearly starved to death, twice, because of inflammation in my colon and scar tissue - and I was still sporting quite a bit of weight around my middle - because my body started taking MUSCLE to save me, and left all the fucking fat! Don't tell me that eating less will help me lose weight, cause that's bull crap. If I ate less, they'd call me anorexic.

you know, I have to say your comments really make me wonder at how supportive you have been of your wife's attempts (if she has many any) to lose weight.

That you see having an understanding of one's own body chemistry and limits as not playing a role in weight loss makes me think that you have no idea what it takes for some people to lose weight.

Neither graceanne nor I have made excuses for our weight. I know that in order to lose weight there are certain things I need to do. And honestly for the past few years I have had other things that are more important than weight loss to concentrate on. When I am ready to give my attention to it, I will.
