Prayers and thoughts needed.

I know she'll never do it, and she'll probably kick my ass for doing it, but a very close friend of mine is going through a pivotal time in her life. She's carrying a heavy burden, and could use a break.

I'm asking you to send prayers and positive thoughts to her. She is one of the most giving and loving people I have ever known. I would give anything to be able to make this right for her. :rose:

Consider it done hon.

I am new and not particularly religious but I will keep your friend in my thoughts.

I don't exactly have a direct line for this sort of thing, but I'll see what I can do to generate some positive vibes for you and your friend. :rose:

I agree with your assessment about her reaction BG. You are in for an ass kicking! I have a feeling I could find a volunteer to assist but I doubt kicking of the ass would be involved.

Truthfully, I am extremely touched by your care as well as everyone's response. I thank you all very much. I am humbled by it all. :rose:

My doctor called today with the results of my HPV test. It was positive. I've battled this for over 6 years since my first abnormal pap. The next step for me is a Colposcopy , then a hysterectomy.

I'm tired of this crap, and just want to get all this OVER AND DONE with!!!!!

I am sorry for your battle Leah and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I know ongoing health issues wear on more than the body. :rose:

Sticking up for BG....trying to save her ass...oh you're suggesting something else! Would BG like it perhaps? hehe Cate, that's what friends do for friends. Hope things get better for you. :rose:

Sorry for the diagnosis Leah but as you say at least you know what it is for sure now and hopefully you can get it over and done with. Wishing you well.

O hush up women and take your lumps, like WW said, it's what friends do and it's suprising how much difference it can make, this may just be a text only medium, but the right words at the right time can lift your spirits no matter how bad you feel, and it's free, what more could you ask for, ( less commas apparently  )
Wishing you all the best for whatever life is throwing your way.

Thanks, BG and Quoll.

You all have rapidly become some of my dear friends, and I appreciate all the kind words and thoughts.

For me, "this, too, shall pass"... I'm looking at it as just a phase that I have to go through.

I'm sorry to hear you have this ahead of you Leah, but as you said - get it done and over with, and then on with your life.

Sending you hugs and strength and the knowledge that life will be so much better for you when it's all over and done with.

Take care. :rose:

Sorry, Cate. We just loves ya. Get used to it. :rose: :rose:

leah, i'm sorry to hear that. there should be some treatments available, no? i was under the impression that w/ the recent announcements of a vaccine, treatment was more viable.
