Prayers and thoughts needed.

I agree with your assessment about her reaction BG. You are in for an ass kicking! I have a feeling I could find a volunteer to assist but I doubt kicking of the ass would be involved.

Truthfully, I am extremely touched by your care as well as everyone's response. I thank you all very much. I am humbled by it all. :rose:

No kicking BG's ass unless she would like it; then by all means do it.

((hugs and good thoughts to you Cathleen))

My doctor called today with the results of my HPV test. It was positive. I've battled this for over 6 years since my first abnormal pap. The next step for me is a Colposcopy , then a hysterectomy.

I'm tired of this crap, and just want to get all this OVER AND DONE with!!!!!
I'm sorry you have to endure all this and hope you get an all clear very soon.

Thanks, Phaedre.... I hope so, too. My next appointment is Oct 11 (don'tcha just love the military medical system?? - this is what "free medical" is all about... )

O hush up women and take your lumps, like WW said, it's what friends do and it's suprising how much difference it can make, this may just be a text only medium, but the right words at the right time can lift your spirits no matter how bad you feel, and it's free, what more could you ask for, ( less commas apparently  )
Wishing you all the best for whatever life is throwing your way.

Qman, a couple of things for that belly jiggle. One is that you told me to hush -- oh you poor man, don't fight it Qman. I don't hush, was told that today as a matter of fact, by an attorney -- after the fact.

Another is the comma comment. Ask jacuzzigal, she has graciously been my editor. The first story she sent back with comments mentioned the use of the comma. To which I replied, I'm a comma whore. ;) I've learned better now.

Thank you so much for the laughs and for the support, it does help lots. The concept of receiving isn't a strong point of mine.

yeah, well... it's "free" medical... (for which I pay an annual premium, go figger!) Anyway, my doc is out this week on vacation, then it's almost the end of the month anyway....

Actually, I don't mind too much - the longer the time till surgery, the greater the chances that I'll lose even more weight by then..... the doc intimiated before that they could "throw in" a tummy tuck while they were in there anyway..... one of the "bennies", I guess.... ;)

So I could have gone with my original thought of STFU instead of hush then, seeing as how you would have ignored that too. :D

I guess that makes me a comma gigolo, fortunately I only have one thing published, and, I believe, that was, so to speak, reasonably compliant with local comma law, or fairly close anyway.

I understand the receiving thing, but it's still nice when it happens. :rose:

Pretty cool huh!
Possy has been trying him at the breast the last few days, but little Mr Stubborn developed a case of liplock, ( admittedly when something five sizes bigger than your head is looming over you it could be a bit daunting) one of the nurses said by the way he is sucking his thumb she suspects he has being doing it for quite awhile in utero, and suggested a nipple shield might feel more like what he has been used too. Good call, he latched on straight away and had over a dozen good sucks, hopefully he can keep it up (and down) and start putting on a bit more weight.

Good news!

Y'know, it seems like breast feeding should be instinctive and easy, but it can be tricky at first.

How much weight does he have to gain before he can come home?

No: 1 son was a picky feeder, No: 2 could suck through a space suit, so somewhere in-between will be fine.
He needs to gain between 750 - 1000 gm (26 - 35 oz) so long as everything else is ok, which so far it is.

Yes, this is most definitely great news, Quoll!!!!!

I truly enjoyed my breast-feeding time... told my doc that if ALL I had to do was rock them and nurse them, I'd have had 10 more kids... unfortunately, there's a bit more to parenting than rocking and nursing a baby.... so I stopped at 2 (I have as many children as I have hands)

Besides, grandkids are WAY more fun than kids... you can spoil the hell out of them, and SEND THEM HOME!!!!!

I suppose you could have tried the STFU but the hush had such a better laugh impact. I'm working on the hush thing and the receiving thing, and the ... thing and on and on it goes. I want to hear "Nice job" when I meet my Maker. Of course He will have to put the proverbial tape over my mouth straight away, as I've got a list to discuss with him.;)

I think, at least at this point, that your status as Comma Gigolo could be strong, however, one false move, and I mean one, it could be over, just like that, in the blink of an eye, well in this case two eyes but, well you know,...

Little Feet has a beautiful hand too. That is such a picture of warmth and contentment. A wow!

So what does Possy have to say about the "five sizes bigger than your head is looming over you it could be a bit daunting" comment? (I love it!)

Oh my, he's so precious.

Darn it! Seeing little ones always kicks my baby craving into full gear.

I'm so happy for you Quoll and Mrs. Quoll on the addition to the family. He's beautiful and your current AV picture of him simply warms my heart. What a blessing for you.

This thread and the support everyone offers over the miles moves me beyond words.

He really is just so precious quoll!

I'm glad to hear everyone is doing well. I'll keep sending my good thoughts to you and yours :rose:

So many of my friends here seem to be having a hard time lately so I thought I would just share a little place with you.
Take the time to rest and reflect, remember the things that are most important to you, try and let go of the things you don't need.
Take time for yourselves people.
