I need some good energy for my dad. My sister called me about an hour ago to tell me there had been a fire in my dad's condo. He was uninjured but his condo has "significant damage." He's 82 years old, and lives on a fixed income so of course does not have renter's insurance. I am so thankful that he is okay, that goes without saying. But to have to start over at age 82? I just can't even imagine it. :(

Please accept my well-wishes too. I'm glad he's okay, but it is a shame about the condo. I hope everything will work out for him...

all my good energy will be sent and said for your Dad, same thing happened to me 4 years ago, was very Thankful was staying with a friend the night it happened, normally would of been a sleep, cause it came up into my bedroom from the 1st floor and I was on the 3rd, didn't have insurance either, material possesions can be replace over time a life can not, I'm very Happy to hear your Dad is okay, at 82 it'll be rough for him at first but will eventually get better, he has my prayers Bg! :rose: :)

I know this is going to sound kind of funny and pales in comparison to some of the things here.

But I have a very special dog who is very sick. And right now it's breaking my heart..

Special thoughts to you, NB for your canine friend....

Thank you Leah. I talked to him today. He's a tough old guy.

Your surgery's soon, isn't it?

I would appreciate your thoughts and prayers for a friend of mine who yesterday had emergency surgery to treat an ectopic pregnancy.

She didn't even know she was pregnant until the diagnosis on Monday so now she's not only dealing with the trauma of emergency surgery but with the loss of her pregnancy...

My prayers and thoughts will be with her, and hope everything heals quickly afterwards :rose: :)

Please think of and pray for my sister who yesterday finally broke down and shared with me last night that she is awaiting the results of a breast cancer biopsy today.

She is the healthiest one in my family, has none of the 'indicators' and yet has an unexplained lump. I am praying for her that it is simply a benign mass and nothing more serious. I told her yesterday that we would help her get through it all; I just hope i can live up to that promise.

You will find the strength to help her, even if you think you can't. I will send positive energy your sister's way, and pray that this is a false alarm. :rose:

The biopsy results are 'inconclusive'. They are running some more tests and preparing slides. She has to return next Thursday for, hopefully, more definitive results.

It's going to be a very, very long week...
