I've had very good results from using electro-stim (TENS unit but I can't remember what that stands for) for my back pain. I hope it gives you relief until those nerves calm down.

Yea thanks Bobsgirl..... my muscles are jumping around as if they were in a frying pan. The pain is still there BIG TIME... but seem to be walking a little better... however, not ready to run a race.

My sister still does not have a positive diagnosis. It's either lymphoma or inflammatory disease but she won't know for another week.

My sister doesn't know what stage yet. She's having a lumpectomy on Tuesday mainly because they need more tissue to confirm that sort of thing.

The worst bit of it was I got to tell our mum as I was visiting her in the A&E after a heart scare (atrial fibrillation) herself. Mum is fine now I hasten to add though she has to see a cardiologist soon.

We're still not sure what's going on. My grandma was admitted yesterday with severe back pain and she's had a CT scan and some x-rays. However, as it's the weekend and no one's around to interpret the tests, I imagine that she'll spend the weekend in the hospital.

She's resting comfortably. I'm going to visit her tomorrow afternoon.
