I just received an update from Red ~ she should be going into surgery in about half an hour. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers... she needs them the most right now.

I'm hoping if you have a few leftover good thoughts, you'll send them my sister's way. She had to have emergency surgery this afternoon related to a surgery she had about five weeks ago. She's very ill and in a lot of pain.

Thank you all so much. She's still in the hospital fighting off an infection which was the reason for the emergency surgery. Hopefully she will be home in a few days.

I found out tonight that the mother of one of my closest friends has been re-diagnosed with breast cancer, and is scheduled to undergo a mastectomy in about a week. Damn it.

A friend of mine just had a questionable mamogram and needs to go in for some additional testing. It is a rough time, she just lost her mother and her father isn't doing so well... she is one of those wonder women. I wonder how on earth she is able to juggle and manage so much. She is an amazing lady and could use some good energy too. If there is more floating around.
